Hangar 21 is incredible! As a wedding planner, it’s so important to have a wedding day team that compliments each other and the venue is arguably one of the most important parts. It’s such a pleasure getting to work there. the team is so nice, professional, and easy to work with. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and serves a beautiful blank slate for any event, any time of year!

This venue checked all of our boxes. Unique, modern, versatile, and most importantly at an airport! The staff was wonderful and accommodating. Additionally when rain was forecasted, they came up with a great alternative to move the outdoor ceremony inside. They executed the change perfectly. While it is a blank slate, it was perfect for out vision of simple, modern decor. We did not need to add much as the location speaks volumes.

We recently had our ceremony & reception at Hangar 21. I was very picky when it came to a venue spot.. I wanted something spacious for all of our family & friends and also a place that was flexible with the vendors that I decided to use. The Hangar 21 staff was extremely helpful from the beginning... we set up multiple times to view the location and they were very prompt with responding each time. They also had great input when it came to creating the space... we loved everything about our day! The ceremony had a beautiful back drop of the Fullerton Airport runway and the reception started right at sunset. The location is also equipped with amazing indoor lighting for night time and all of our guests loved the atmosphere. We had so many compliments throughout our day and I can't thank the staff enough for all of their help from start to finish. One of the pilots even flew us in for our entrance as the new bride and groom on their helicopter. It was an amazing day! Thank you Hangar 21!

My husband, in particular, has always raved about hangars and dreamed of getting a pilot's license for as long as I could remember. We also love to travel so having our wedding + reception at an airport was something we couldn't pass up. Even when we tried visiting other venues, we couldn't help but compare it to this one. The grand entrance via helicopter was so beautiful (our first flight as a married couple) and the suspense/energy when we landed was amazing. I was initially put off by the fact that we had to use their specified caterer, but after our wedding was done, we couldn't be happier with the smooth turnout. Also, guests loved the food so major win there. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better wedding that was suited to our tastes :)

Hangar 21 was where we had both our ceremony and reception. The staff was helpful and receptive to our ideas leading up to our wedding day. We came with our list of requirements early on and ran through what the day would look like weeks and days before the big event.

Where Hangar 21 and staff failed was on the day of the event. The staff reiterated days before the wedding all of the services and facilities we'd have access to on our day.

One thing we were promised was access to the pilot's lounge for the groomsmen on the day of the wedding. The afternoon before the ceremony the groom and his groomsmen headed to the lounge they were told they'd be staying in and were rudely told to go somewhere else and that they were no longer allowed in the pilot's lounge.

The bride and groom were told the bridal party would have access to an air-conditioned room while they were getting ready. The air conditioning wasn't on or wasn't cooling the room down as much as it should forcing a portion of the wedding party to leave the room they were all supposed to be in together. After members of the bridal party repeatedly telling staff members to do something about it to no avail some of the bridal party decided to do the rest of their make up and hair in the women's restroom.

We were also promised an adequate sound system and during the evening's festivities our DJ had to turn up his personal system as much as possible compromising sound quality due to the refusal of the staff to turn up the house speakers.

The most infuriating part of the night wasn’t any of the effects of the failure of the staff listed above. Everyone made it through the evening happy and stress-free besides the small hiccups. What prompted us to write this review was the fact that one of the staff from Hangar 21 was rude to a wide array of our guests and the wedding party. The bridal party and different guests from different parties that evening told us about about this particular employee and told us detailed accounts for each encounter they had with her. I expected small things to go wrong on the night of our wedding. What I didn’t expect was a member of the facility that we paid thousands of dollars for to continually disregard complaints and concerns from the bridal party and wedding planner, to rudely snap at people when they were accidentally somewhere they weren’t supposed to be, and to not allow any other guests in 5 minutes after starting the ceremony by locking ALL the doors.

The venue was amazing and everything leading up to this day was stress-free. Even with this one particular employee being a damper to a handful of guests, everyone had an amazing evening and thought the helicopter ride was a unique experience.

Overall place is good service is good but the food is nasty, if you don't get any other caterer you would lose a lot of business. You should at least consider other caterers so that the people who are holding the event would have a choice of food. It was really nasty the fried rice was wet beef was too sweet with so much wine and soy sauce black noodles so nasty. The chicken is fine

My meticulously planned wedding day quickly transformed into a disastrous nightmare at Hangar 21. Shockingly, the venue made the ill-conceived decision to proceed with emergency helicopter maintenance by a neighboring business on the exact day and time of my vows. With no consideration for their guests, this egregious choice not only disrupted the tranquility we had envisioned but also created an atmosphere of pandemonium and unrelenting noise.



Lack of Empathy and Mediation: A Cold Shoulder in the Face of Desperation

Adding insult to injury, Hangar 21 demonstrated a complete lack of empathy and indifference towards the consequences of their ill-advised collaboration. When I approached them with my grievances, I expected a sincere and compassionate response, along with concrete plans for mediation. However, Hangar 21 callously disregarded my distress, offering no meaningful response or willingness to accept responsibility.

Unfortunately, my wedding day at Hangar 21 serves as a harrowing reminder of how this cherished moment was unjustly stolen from us. The thunderous roar of helicopters and the ensuing chaos eclipsed the joy and beauty of the occasion, forever tainting the memories we should have held dear.
