It’s been two months since my wedding, and the one thing all our guests are still raving about was our desserts table by Hands on Sweets! I’m so happy we found Chef Marie and her team. They were so easy to work with, extremely communicative, and the desserts were BEAUTIFUL. Hands on Sweets was also extremely flexible about changing desserts and counts, and the tasting was one of my favorite parts of wedding prep 😊 Marie was super helpful at making sure we had a good mix of dessert types, and gave us incredibly helpful guidance on our cake. We originally were thinking we didn’t want cake at all, and I’m so glad we ended up having one, as it was a beautiful focal point of our table.

Our desserts table ended up being a perfect blend of all our favorite items, but in an elegant way that still matched our color scheme and decor. I feel like sometimes you sacrifice flavor for looks, but everything on our table was also absolutely DELICIOUS. I’ve never seen a desserts table completely cleared at a wedding, but ours was. In fact, I had people asking me, even before dinner was served, if they could grab something. Marie and her team were also kind enough to set aside a separate box of goodies for my husband and I to take home. I’m so thankful they did, otherwise we wouldn’t have gotten any since it was all gone by the end of the night 😊

Chef Marie was amazing! It was wonderful to have the opportunity to do a tasting of different flavors so I could pick the ones I liked the most - I actually like all, but had to narrow it down to two. I gave her examples of cake photos I liked - she reviewed them and gave me advice on what was best based on our requirements. In the end, she provided us with the perfect cakes for wedding! Fantastic, delicious cakes!

My husband and I had an outdoor tented reception about an hour outside of Tampa. Marie was excellent in coordinating the travel (our two cakes arrived in perfect condition) and set up. She recommended using sugar flowers in place of real flowers on the cakes so that they wouldn't look wilted by the end of the night. Her sugar flowers are honestly prettier than actual flowers. Our wedding cake was simple and had a slightly modern twist on an elegant/traditional wedding cake to keep it up to date. I also so appreciated being able to take home the cake samples before hand to try (Marie followed COVID-19 guidelines beautifully). We didn't feel like we missed on the experience of "traditional" cake tasting. She wrapped the sample cakes up in gorgeous packaging and my husband and I came home and tested them with a glass of champagne. Her attention to detail was unmatched. My favorite cake was probably the groom's cake. My husband is very into cycling, and likes to do so on mountain trails. I shared my extremely basic vision/idea for the groom's cake with Marie and she took it from there and created an absolute masterpiece. She has vision. She even recommended these AWESOME cyclist figurines to put on the cake that really just put it over the top. Marie is incredibly sweet, professional, openly shares any advice/pointers, and has timely communication. Also, she makes the best carrot cake I have ever had. 180 people reception and we had 0 leftovers (and the cake was huge). I have gotten more compliments on how delicious the cake was than almost anything else.

Wow is all we can say! Marie is not only sweet, she is very creative and artistic in her designs. The "sugar flower" design she created on the cake was so intricate, it looked real. We would highly recommend "Hand On Sweet" for your wedding cake choice. And not a surprise, the cake was also delicious and liked by all the guest.

Chef Marie is absolutely amazing to work with. We first met her at a wedding expo and fell in love with her beautiful designs and delicious cakes and knew that we wanted to have her create our perfect wedding cake. During the initial consultation, Marie was wonderful at helping guide us and create a vision for our cake based on all of the details/elements that were important to us. It was difficult at first for us to completely envision what we wanted, but Marie was able to quickly take our thoughts and put together a perfect sketch/representation to match our overall theme. The cake tasting was one of our favorite parts of the entire wedding planning process and Marie was able to offer some really great recommendations as far as pairings for cake flavors & fillings. Every cake and filling we tasted was absolutely amazing. We had such a hard time deciding which we liked best that we ended up going with two different flavor options. Seeing the cake brought to life on our actual wedding day was incredible. The cake itself was stunning and we can honestly say it was just as excellent of quality and flavor on the wedding day as when we did our initial tasting. We also had Marie make custom cookies as take-home treats for our wedding guests which also turned out perfect - everyone loved them! We truly love Marie's work and would highly recommend Hands on Sweets for any important event cake/pastry/dessert needs!

I would highly recommend that every couple look into Hands on Sweets for their wedding dessert needs. My wife and I were blown away with the level of service that was provided to us throughout the entire process. We worked with Marie for our wedding and she was an absolute joy. During the tasting she walked us through everything, made awesome suggestions, and made our dessert table the most anticipated part of the event (after the ceremony of course). Marie went out of her way to make sure all of our needs & wants were met as we wanted an atypical setup (no cake), rather an assortment of desserts. Each dessert option was not only incredibly delicious but beautiful as well. Each dessert looked like a piece of art. Would 10/10 recommend for all of your dessert needs! Thank you!!!!!

Cannot give enough reviews about Marie and Hands on sweets. She was super flexible when we had to reschedule our day due to covid. We cut our wedding guest count but wanted to keep our dessert table for our original count and give guests a to go box of desserts for their gift. Everyone loved the desserts! Can’t wait for a reason to order a cake from them on the future!

I had a wonderful experience with them, they are very friendly and very flexible. I have celiac disease and she did almost everything gluten free! The dessert table was not only delicious but everything looked so pretty you didn’t want to eat it!! I have nothing but great things to say about them so if you are getting married or simple need a cake call them!!
