Joey, and Half Full Photography, was recommended by our wedding coordinator, Jill Hudgins, and we are so happy that they were. When we were looking into the recommendations that were sent our way we noticed that we wanted stylized but grounded photography, and we found that in Half Full. We chatted with Joey, our personalities meshed, and we were off and running.

The day of our wedding we had Joey and Sam shooting us, and they were amazing to work with. They were constantly making us laugh, making us feel comfortable, and just helping us enjoy every moment that we were together taking photos. They worked seamlessly with our videographers at Tidal Films, and since they had both worked together many times before, the relationship they brought to the table made for an even more fun environment.

Having had to adapt to a whole new setting, Emily’s parent’s backyard compared to the Scripps Seaside Forum where they have worked countless events, Joey and Sam did amazing. They were working with the light, the spaces around the property, and they did an incredible job doing so. Their photos are as incredible as we imagined! Highly recommend Half Full Photography! Everyone kept talking about how beautiful our wedding photos turned out. Joey was really sweet, professional, and super easy to work with. It was very nice of him to give us a military discount. We met with Joey once before the wedding just to get to know each other and the styles we are looking for. He was really fun and just make you laugh naturally without fake the smiles. Our family and us loved him!!!

Words cannot describe how wonderful April and Joey truly are! They were passionate and extremely professional throughout our wedding planning process. A majority of our guests during and after the reception commented on how organized and efficient they were with the family photos etc. As a bride who did not have a on site coordinator prior to arrival at the venue. I was a bit nervous about how things were going to go, but they made it effortless and were extremely adaptable when it came to a few little hiccups with our getting ready shots. Joey & April are incredibly talented photographers, and even better people. My wife and I had the pleasure of working with them for our engagement photos and our wedding day photos. Almost four years later, Meghan and I not only appreciate Joey and April for their professional and amazing wedding photographs, but they've now shot wedding photos for no less than three of our friends' weddings, and have helped one of my clients for a corporate event.
