Amy Serafin-Martinez has had a very diversified 13 years of history in hairstyling. She built her salon in 2008 with a following of 21 stylists. She is passionate and excited about now having the change of pace back into on-location hairstlying. Presently, she is independent in her own studio servicing a long following of clientele. When Amy is not in the studio, she travels all over DFW to provide Hairstyling and Makeup for Weddings; Photo Shoots and Special Events. Serafin branched out independently when she opened her Dallas based studio in 2003 "A Bride to Be Hairstyling & Couture," to specialize in Bridal Hair Styling. Amy believes hair and makeup are each true specialties. She worked towards her BA in Finance at UT Dallas while running her bridal hair business all over DFW. While in business school, she became passionate about educating other hairstylists. She worked several years on opening her own salon where she managed an opening team of 21 stylists. She traveled to California for education and to bring back an amazing product line she launched on her shelves. Her salon "suavizar salon" was a hit within the 1st year. It made headlines of NBC national News all the way to LA; CBS and WB. Amy was featured on Daily Candy; D Beauty and in many other write ups for her unique concepts and approach to hairstyling. Amy Serafin married making Her Amy Martinez. Her salon was a major commitment and being a mother was a life commitment. She missed the freedom of traveling all over to make people beautiful and the excitement of every day being different. Amy closed down suavizar salon in 2009 and is independent in her own studio again to provide onsite hair & makeup services as well as servicing clients in her studio. She utilizes the same exclusive Italian line she brought from California. It is simply the best quality product and celebrity loved. Serafin utilizes a unique approach to bridal hairstyling and formal events. Updos and formal styles can sometimes be uncomfortable and painful. Her European approach is painless and lasts all night long. Every single photo on her site is her actual hairstyling works. She got 2nd place for all of west coast in the world wide hair tour and competed nationally in NY.
