I absolutely LOVED Melissa Gregersen Photography! Melissa was one of the top reasons my wedding was so perfect! I feel in love the first time I saw her pictures. From the second, Melissa told me that Bay Pointe Inn was one of her favorite wedding venues to shoot at, I knew I had to have her as my photographer. Melissa’s personality fit well with ours. We are kind of goofballs and spend a lot of time being silly and laughing a lot and she dealt with us perfectly and embraced our personalities. Not only are her pictures phenomenal but she was so helpfully through the wedding planning progress. She helped me plan out my wedding day so that everything went seamlessly with pictures and she works quickly and efficiently. She made sure she was aware of all the photos I wanted and didn’t miss a perfect chance for a beautiful picture! My wedding pictures are magical and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out! Thank you for helping make our wedding day perfect! I would HIGHLY recommend her to everyone.

First off, I’m the groom and I never spoke with Melissa until I met her for our engagement photo shoot. From the very beginning, I knew my wife made an amazing decision! Melissa is absoluting amazing to work with, she may be bossy, but a photographer has to be, so the pictures turn out AWESOME!!! Our engagement photos turned out amazing, but now we’re waiting for our wedding photos! And I’m even more excited!!! I know she does amazing work and I’m not worried at all! She also was a pleasure all day! She put up with wardrobe malfunctions, hiccups with trying to pin on the boutineers, and having random family members trying to get into our photos! She truly was a pleasure and her assistant (who was her sister) was just as amazing! Words cannot describe how amazing she was to work with! If you’re looking for a photographer, go with Melissa you will 150% not regret your decision!

P.S. when my wife and I do hopefully have kids, we have her number saved so we can get those adorable baby photos and family portraits she does as well!!

Definitely book Melissa Gregersen if you can. Being a multimedia person myself I felt as though I couldn't find a photographer who was willing to meet all my specific needs for my wedding, but once I met with Melissa I knew she was the right fit. Day of she did phenomenal. Her and her assistant took charge and led our photo shoots throughout the day keeping in mind to get every shot I had specifically asked for. Although many aspects of the day didn't go quite right or according to plan, you definitely wouldn't know it looking at the photos and that was so important to me. 10/10 would totally book her again!

Our photographer Melissa Gregerson with Gregerson photography made our day. She came in and I instantly felt relieved and excited because I knew she was going to do a great job. Melissa and I had spoken over the phone many times coming up to my big day making sure she was familiar with my entire wedding day. Although planning a destination wedding was stressful she helped alleviate all of my worries. Melissa and Danielle were so pleasant to work with capturing the most gorgeous photos on our wedding day. My husband and I have been so pleased with the overall quality and professionalism from Gregerson photography. My husband and I were worried about knowing how to pose for the camera but we shouldn't have, Melissa was great coordinating our photos so we had nothing to worry about. Melissa went above and beyond for us on our day; she even went as far as having the staff bring out a 40 foot ladder to capture one of our most cherished photos. We were very fortunate to have Melissa photograph our July wedding in Ann Arbor. I look back on the photos all the time and relive the day all over again, she captured the day beautifully, artfully--perfectly. You need only to visit her website/blog to see what a majorly talented photographer she is, but what you can't see there is what an incredibly kind, patient, and understanding person she is to work with. She is the sweetest person, she loves her job, and we loved working with her. She listened to our ideas, took in the wedding and our personalities as a whole and really made the photos reflect us and the day itself. She is very creative and has an incredible eye, capturing the little details from decor to the nuanced emotions on our faces. Melissa was one of the best investments we made, and was worth every penny and then some. As if you need more, there are many perks to choosing Melissa: she uses a second shooter which comes in very handy, she set up a pretty awesome photo booth for fun photos of you and your guests, she meets with you ahead of time to get to know you, and she really honestly cares what you want and how your photos turn out. I can't recommend her highly enough, Melissa is the best :)

Photographs and photography are extremely important to my husband and meI. When we started planning our wedding, we spent hours looking at portfolios and talking to wedding photographers trying to find the perfect one to capture our big day. Melissa was that person!

She is truly a talented artist. She has a vision for each photo she takes. Her pictures capture a feeling (of love, of joy, of nervousness, of peace) just as much as the place and the people. All you need to do is glance through her portfolio and you'll see this. Her photos are the best proof that she absolutely loves what she does.

Aside from her artistry, she is a wonderful person and easy to work with. She is sweet, friendly and flexible. On wedding day, she made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I remember being SOOOO nervous to see my husband for the first time. Melissa's presence was as calming as could be and I barely noticed her taking pictures when my hubby and I had our "moment" of first seeing each other. She worked with us through every step of the planning and her product (amazing photos) reflected that she actually listened to us and understood what we wanted from the day - something I value highly.
