With each one, we communicated concerns that we weren’t the most comfortable in front of the camera or confident that we were super photogenic. Time and time again, we heard “oh, everyone says that and then looks like a model” which might be true but isn’t very reassuring. Holly took time to listen and understand what made us feel that way, which meant she knew how to pivot when needed to get us photos we truly loved.

Holly was AMAZING! I honestly cannot say enough about Holly and her photography. When considering our big day, I cared the most about our photos. I wanted a blend of editorial style and some polished, and Holly really delivered. From our engagement photos to wedding photos, she made us feel so comfortable and organically captured who we are. She managed to get my husband (who is not a photo person) to genuinely smile in our pictures and get him to go a full 2 hours for our engagement session without one complaint -- a true magician. She also managed to get some great photos of our dog with us. On our wedding day we had some last minute rain shifts and she rolled with the flow. I am so grateful we hired Holly and absolutely love all the moments she captured for us!

Choosing our photographer was probably the most difficult decision after choosing our venue -- and I am so glad that we were able to have Holly capture our day! Holly was our photographer for both our engagement photos and wedding photos. She is amazing and I would highly recommend to everyone to book her! For people who don't like to be photographed, she made us feel so comfortable and made the process so easy. She is very organized and professional and made sure to get our "must-have" shots and took extra time to get shots that we would liked but not needed. She captured our day so beautifully in our photos - everyone has given us so many compliments of how they have turned out. Holly is fantastic at her work and really captures the essence of your day.

I got married two weeks ago and hired Green Holly Photography to capture all aspects of the celebration. Simply put, you NEED Holly on your vendor team. She and her team are organized, professional, fun to work with and talented beyond belief. Holly captured every single thing on my photo wish list (and there was a lot!) plus more things I didn't even think of. The photos turned out simply gorgeous, and my husband, family and I are so grateful for the memories she gave us. It's so important to find a photographer who you "jive" with because you'll be spending a ton of time with them on a very important day. I clicked with Holly after chatting on the phone with her months before our wedding. She was only the second photographer I interviewed and I immediately knew she was the one for us.

So incredibly talented!!! Holly created a perfect timeline for our wedding day. All pictures were done quickly and efficiently with our large bridal party (10 groomsmen/10 bridesmaids). She arrived on time and ready to go! She was always looking for new picture opportunities and making us feel comfortable. Our wedding day was during the end of November with some cold weather and sprinkling rain. Holly made the most of it finding photo ops outside even though we could not go out onto the grounds of the venue because of the weather. She is so talented and her pictures are absolutely beautiful! You definitely want her to capture all your special moments on your wedding day!

Holly was amazing in every aspect! We changed our entire wedding due to COVID-19 and it continued to be a very fluid event up until it was over and Holly was so helpful throughout the entire process. She was such a joy to work with. She was professional and fun and helped everyone feel comfortable on our wedding day. We ended up having a small ceremony with no reception; however Holly was open to roaming around Detroit with us and taking amazing pictures that we will cherish forever. I would recommend Holly to everyone. She was such a big part of our day and was able to fit right in with our family while remaining professional and producing such beautiful photos. I’m so lucky I found her and would hire her again for other events.

We changed our wedding plans about 6 times with the covid pandemic, changing our 200 person wedding to a 40 person outdoor backyard wedding and Holly was super flexible and went along with our crazy plans! She was calm the entire wedding and made everyone feel comfortable, no screaming to get people into place! Fantastic photos
