It's really hard for me to slim down all the wonderful things in 1 review that's only 3000 characters because I could go on and on and on about how AMAZING Green Gardens was. We booked our wedding 2 years in advance, back in 2019. We set up a scheduled tour and Trent (the owner) was incredibly kind and showed us around the property. The property is LITERALLY breathtaking. There's an absolutely stunning greenhouse where one can have a wedding and reception in, with cascading foliage and greenery and chandeliers. There is also a farmhouse for the wedding party to get ready in, and plenty of room for people to relax and mingle in! I love how spacious, but also how quaint and beautiful this venue was. We were able to cut back on so much unnecessary decorating because this place was so gorgeous on it's own!! Trent was more than accommodating! We asked if we could have access to the farmhouse earlier than on our contract and we also asked if we were able to share the day with our dog. Both times I came to him for an inquiry, he was completely open and was very flexible which we were so appreciative of. The venue coordinator, Tera, was fantastic. My mother was very taken by her and her responsiveness to our questions and emails. When we got to meet her the day of the rehearsal she was super nice and everyone was working so hard to make our dream and vision a reality! Although we did not take advantage of the farmhouse weekend, it was so nice we were able to get around in such a lovely home. The farmhouse has charm and it really makes you feel like a bride getting around for your wedding! Lastly, everyone, literally everyone who attended our wedding was so blown away with this beautiful venue and I couldn't agree more! I only hope that someday I can attend a wedding here as a guest to bask in more of it's beauty! When we viewed venues for our wedding we only looked here because we knew before we even went that it was the place for us. Perfection is close to the word I'm looking for, but even then, I'm not sure it can even describe our time here with Green Gardens

We absolutely loved Of the Land!! We went with the all-inclusive weekend package and it was such an incredible experience. Having access to the venue from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning made the experience much less stressful and the wedding party loved being able to get ready and stay on the property.
The venue itself is gorgeous; we got married in October but it was still stunning. The greenhouse is absolutely incredible. We got so many compliments regarding the venue - the greenery, the coffee bar (paid additional for this), the garden, the appetizers, the signature drinks, the FOOD! (I don't know what they put in the butter but it was insanely delicious!!)
The staff is incredible and kind and they were so helpful and patient during the planning process. We loved the bartenders that are part of the all inclusive package (note - you do supply the alcohol which was stressful but it worked out). It started raining during dinner but the staff adapted and had a plan so we didn't have to stress about it.
This venue is one of a kind and we had such amazing experience.

After many different wedding venues toured, we toured Of the Land and we both immediately knew this was the place we wanted to get married! Aside from the absolutely magical grounds and stunning greenhouse, Trent and Bridgett were so incredibly warm and friendly and their entire essence drew us into wanting to get married at their farm.

We got married in September under the Mulberry tree, had our cocktail hour in the Garden, and the reception in the Greenhouse. The land at this venue is like no other. The vast colorful wildflower fields, the hammocks and tables set around Dotty (signature drink trailer - we selected the Strawberry Spritz and the Whiskey Honey Lemonade), the yard games set out that our guests thoroughly enjoyed throughout the evening as well as the bonfire, the expansively vining greenery in the greenhouse paired with the stunning wooden floors - it’s really so incredibly beautiful. The wooden tables and chairs in the greenhouse were absolutely gorgeous. We didn’t even have to decorate the reception space outside of table centerpieces because of how gorgeous it naturally is! Multiple of our guests asked us “Where did you find this place?!” as it was so magical and unique. The food is on a whole different level - we went with the ginger-garlic beef, chicken, and vegetarian options! The flavor was incredibly memorable and the presentation was made for magazines! Our wedding party stayed in the Farmsuite Flat and woke up the morning of for the wedding - the Flat was also so thoughtfully curated! The space was clean, spacious, a lovely hot-tub to enjoy overlooking the back fields, and a perfect space for the beauty and hair team to get to work the morning-of. Trent and Bridgett really have thought of everything.

Working with Trent and Bridgett during the wedding planning process, along with their team members Laia and Monica, was so enjoyable! We are originally from Michigan, but currently are living overseas. They answered our million questions thoughtfully and generously, as our big time difference made emailing preferable to finding a time to call. The whole team at Of the Land was professional, incredibly helpful, friendly, and really was excited with us for our wedding! Our wedding was a DREAM, a magical fairytale, more than we could have ever imagine possible, and we would absolutely suggest getting married at Of the Land!

I went in to the wedding planning process on relatively short notice and quickly landed on OTL as my top choice. The location, the setting, the venue, the folks just felt right. I had the most incredible day. The staff were so helpful and friendly throughout the entirety of the process. Of the land truly offers so many unique services all as a “one stop shop” and the folks are a pleasure to work with. If you love natural beauty and friendly folks - this is absolutely the right choice.

We had our wedding at Of the Land in August of 2023 and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! The owners are both easy-going and professional, and their phenomenal staff helped us achieve our dream wedding day. The photos do not do this place justice, it is so much more beautiful in person. The florists that contract with the venue are incredibly skillful and their arrangements really helped to take everything to the next level. Also, the fact that they do their own catering was a big plus for us; we didn't have to worry about finding another vendor and the food was absolutely incredible. The venue offers several packages, including the option to have it for almost the entire weekend, Friday midday through Sunday morning. We went for the total package and had our rehearsal dinner there as well, which was super convenient and amazing. The owners were extremely accommodating to our requests and were even able to redesign the floor plan to fit our 12 person band! There is even a farm flat on the property where our bridal party stayed the night; it was super convenient for getting ready day-of and for helping pack up the next day. We knew we'd need additional time to clean up so the owners were kind enough to let us pay a little extra to hold onto the flat until noon, rather than the typical 10 am checkout, which was super helpful as we were able to collect all of our wedding decor there before the venue's 10 am cut-off and gave us two more hours to pack everything into our vehicles. My wedding in August 2023 at Of the Land was INCREDIBLE. The space that Trent and Bridgett have curated is just perfect if you are looking for a romantic, outdoorsy (but still very comfortable), fun and low-stress environment. The most common term our guests used to describe the venue/our wedding was "magical" and obviously I'm biased but I have to agree lol.

I could honestly go on for pages and pages about how beautiful the venue is, how great the food was, how many compliments we got on the location, and how wonderful the venue team was to work with. My very hard to please mother, who was worried about an outdoor wedding, had only great things to say about the venue (this was a feat in and of itself). It was the perfect blend of structured all-inclusive wedding (the farm flat, built-in Dotty bar, bartenders, napkins/tableware, ceremony area, THE ZINNIA GARDEN, the amazing food) and build-your-own vision on top of it. They were incredibly flexible about our decor, vendors, and the timeline of the day, so I was able to spend most of my wedding planning focusing on the details instead of starting from scratch, like a lot of outdoor venues would have to. You do have to bring your own alcohol but that was honestly so great because we could tailor our bar to our guests' preferences and save a ton of money compared to bar packages at other venues.

I had an embarrassing amount of questions in the planning process (ex, re alcohol, decor limitations, timeline structure, table arrangements, etc) and every question was answered promptly and professionally. Trent especially was fantastic - he called me the day before and the morning of the wedding to see if we needed anything and was even one of the people handing out appetizers during cocktail hour (which btw were DELICIOUS - please try the pickles you'll thank me). We had a kind of large seating chart that needed to be set up the morning of the wedding and he saved the day by letting us borrow his drill, because the screws with the sign had a weird type of bit that we didn't have. Just a testament to how caring and above-and-beyond the venue owners go to make sure their clients have an amazing day.

Another plus - our guests LOVED staying at firekeeper's and hitting the casino the night before and the night of the wedding (note, Firekeeper's changed their policy recently and if you want to get a room block there for a wedding, you have to book your rehearsal dinner there - kind of dumb but the venue has no control over it. We had our rehearsal dinner there and it was great so it ended up not being an issue anyway).

The ONLY worry I had with this venue was about the weather - obviously August is hot and we can't control the weather. But it ended up being a pretty mild day for August and, even though it was a little warm in the afternoon, the Greenhouse has a bunch of fans and a really pleasant crossbreeze when the sides are up. The day we got there and set things up was pretty uncomfortably hot outside, but it was very pleasant inside the Greenhouse.

Last thing - the barn cat hung out during our ceremony by the mulberry tree, it was so cute lol. Obviously he's not explicitly part of the venue's offerings but was such a cute bonus.

This is all to say: if you're looking for a fairytale hidden gem wedding venue with the kindest, most down-to-earth venue owners and delicious food, where you can build out and customize/personalize your day, this is the place!

Trent, Bridgett, and the whole team at Of The Land helped make our day better than we dreamed. From being able to use the venue Friday for our rehearsal dinner to allowing us to finish packing up Sunday, we didn’t have to rush through the weekend. We were able to fully be present with our families and one another and we cannot thank them enough for that. The onsite AirBnB accommodations made it easy to stop and have lunch on Saturday, as well as get ready that morning without racing around. The grounds were stunning and we really enjoyed all of the natural beauty it had to offer. We would choose to get married here again in a heartbeat, and will truly treasure our memories we’ve made here forever!

Trent, the owner, is super easy going and helpful when we accidentally left things at/took things from the venue. Guests couldn't get over how beautiful the venue was! So glad to have chosen them for our wedding day!

Green Gardens was the most perfect venue! We decided on them 2 years before our wedding. Trent and his staff were amazing the entire time! We live a few hours away so they were incredibly accommodating in answering all of our questions and making sure that everything was perfect. We had so much freedom in designing our wedding, and the staff helped bring our vision to life. We seriously can’t say enough good things about Green Gardens and our guests can’t stop telling us how beautiful it was and how I much fun they had. As an added bonus, we love that they have the Air BNB flat so we have the option to go back for a weekend anniversary stay later!

Green Gardens is absolutely gorgeous, and we LOVED having our wedding here!! Trent was awesome to work with, and the team at Green Gardens was flexible and helpful in planning throughout COVID-19. There are so many gorgeous spaces on the farm, and we loved being able to have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at one location. I would highly recommend Green Gardens to any couple looking for a super unique and naturally beautiful venue for their wedding.
