I found the Grand Lady on instagram and the moment I stepped foot on the property my fiance and I knew it was the place we were going to get married! The mansion has been beautifully remodeled, but still has its old-timey character. The new reception hall is absolutely stunning. We got married 2 months ago and our friends and family are still talking about how beautiful our venue was. The staff - particularly Carly and Christy were so friendly and easy to work with! Highly highly recommend choosing the Grand Lady - you won’t regret it!

Besides being one of the most gorgeous venues in the Austin area, I had an excellent experience with everyone I came into contact with. Christy is so responsive and warm. There was a very minor landscaping issue the morning of the wedding, and both Christy and the owner went above and beyond with their apologies. There is ample space and parking and the venue feels classic and timeless. I love that it’s almost a blank slate that can perfectly accommodate any theme or vibe.

Loved our reception experience here at the Grand Lady! The big and gorgeous hall easily fit our 220 guest count with a walk aisle. Inside the hall, has a room for the kitchen staff to prep with an outside door for readily entre/exit. Within a few meters, clean and sophisticated restrooms (around 10 stalls indoor) that allows my guests to go whenever! Across the artistic gravel walkway full of vegetation lies a classical and ageless mansion that has been dressed down from roof to staircase. We loved the whole day, thank you!

The Grand Lady is such an incredible space to marry your best friend! We struggled to find a venue that was flexible and cared about our personal needs. From the beginning, the Grand Lady made us feel at home and completely cared for! We loved the timeless and classic vintage feel of the home with the modern reception space. It truly is the best of both worlds and has so many great spaces for any of your celebration needs. We will definitely be back for a dinner party or anniversary picnic!

Katie and Sean are an absolute delight to work with. My husband and I were the first "large" wedding to be held at the Grand Lady, and Katie and Sean worked tirelessly to make sure the venue was in top form for our day. We chose the Grand Lady because of its unique history, beautiful scenery, and ability to "customize" what our day could look like. Everyone had a phenomenal time, and the day was even better than what we could have imagined. Katie and Sean's work ethic, kindness, and generosity set them apart from other venues, and we cannot recommend the Grand Lady more highly.

Working with Katie is seamless. She wants nothing but a happy client. The venue is so beautiful and creates a perfect backdrop for a wedding.

The Grand Lady is a truly special place. The mansion has so much character and has been beautifully restored. It's tucked back in an oak grove and is so quaint and romantic. The renderings for the new, modern wedding spaces going in on the property are also fantastic. I recently put together a styled wedding shoot at The Grand Lady and it photographs so vividly. Katie was lovely to work with as well. This venue is an absolute gem!

We got married at the Grand Lady in late March 2026. It was the only venue we toured, but it was exactly what we were looking for, so we booked our date within a couple days of our tour. We loved the architecture of the mansion with the stained glass throughout and especially the green bathroom upstairs. The bridal suite is bright with tons of natural light, and the downstairs is perfectly moody. The house has so much character in every detail and has its own presence and personality. The reception hall is a perfect blank canvas with a modern feel that we could make our own. We loved the large windows at the back with a view into the trees. Our absolute favorite part, however, was the flower farm behind the buildings. It is a bit of a walk back there (and slightly treacherous in heels and a giant dress), but the walk is so worth it. By late March, the flower farm was full of brightly colored flowers, and we did our first look and most of our photos with family and the wedding party back there.

We went with the on-site floral team who were an absolute joy to work with. Kaitlyn helped bring our vision of a brightly colored Texas wildflower theme to life. She used a wide variety of farmed flowers to recreate the colorful vibe and uniqueness that goes along with the (somewhat odd) Texas wildflowers.

The Grand Lady has a list of required vendors. For the caterer and the wedding planner, it was required to choose from their list. Most of the vendors we worked with were from their recommendations and were great.

The one issue we had was that some of their policies changed and we weren’t notified. We booked the venue 16 months ahead of time, and over that period, a few of the policies and vendors changed. For example, the required Bar & Bev provider changed at some point, but we didn’t realize until about a month and a half before the wedding. At this point, we had already put down a deposit and chosen a signature cocktail. We weren’t notified directly about the vendor change, but figured it out when we were trying to contact the old vendor. In the future, I hope the Grand Lady notifies anyone who has already booked a date whenever policies change (especially if it was in the signed contract).

Despite a couple of road bumps, the Grand Lady was an awesome venue. It’s absolutely stunning with a specific charm. It beautifully changes with the season, but truly shines in the Spring. Our guests loved walking back to the flower farm and taking pictures during the cocktail hour, and we got so many comments about how much they loved the venue. It is a beautiful venue that helped our wedding feel so special.
