! Beware-do not consider this venue!

I write this respectfully but also as a warning to all of her current/future clients looking to choose this venue, Artemis LLC, for your event. Please do not consider working with Artemis LLC, specifically Sigrid Jaimes. Sigrid Jaimes is unprofessional, disorganized, and unfit to work as a manager/employee of an event rental company. For context, I am not living in Austin, TX and me and my fiancée are a long distance couple. My fiancée, Karlo toured with Sigrid on 05/27/2024. We booked our wedding with her on 10/5/24 on 6/2024. She gave us a fair deal, $1500 for 7 hours for under 50 guests for use of her facilities. We liked the spacious bridal and groom suite and the large yard in the property, which is why we decided to move forward. We communicated with her from 6/2024, until 8/2024. When we booked the venue, she did not email us the contract. She did all communication through text. Throughout the whole time we worked with Sigrid, she would take at least 3 days to respond to her text and would be unresponsive to her calls. After addressing our concern of not responding in less than 48 hours on 07/20/24, she would respond with 2-3 days through text but was still inconsistent. She did let us tour the venue in 7/16/2024. My biggest concern is Sigrid texted us on 8/21/24 saying that our venue was not available on 10/5/24 due to a scheduling issue. Sigrid told us she booked an event on the same date last year in 10/2023. Her only suggestion or attempt to “make it right” was to reschedule the wedding to 10/06/24 or another weekend. The wedding event could not be moved due to our guests that were traveling from across the country or out of state. Karlo and I are also traveling on 10/06/24 and are moving to Oregon. She gave us a full refund the next day; however, she gave us no other help of suggesting other venues. Sigrid did express remorse, but it does not accommodate for the extra stress and frustration of scrambling to find and switch to another venue. My fiancee and I were fortunately able to switch the venue to the church’s backyard since they had availability. I no longer can have the wedding I imagined since June 2024 and I am still devastated. Because of her poor organization skills, we now have to plan for the logistics and adjust our budget for an outdoor ceremony and reception with 5 weeks. All of this could’ve been prevented if she communicated with us that the venue was booked from the first phone call in 05/2024. We are hiring a day of coordinator for our wedding, but she still added more work of planning to Karlo and I’s lives on top of planning for a move. I recommend you steer clear of this company and avoid at all costs. There needs to be new management or this company needs to be shut down in order to prevent other clients from having this horrible, worse case scenario, and stressful experience. I also tried my best not to exaggerate and to give my honest opinion. Please contact me through email if you want to ask me questions: noobebe0710@gmail.com. I have posted pictures of our conservation below between Jay Karlo Mendoza (my fiancee), me (Elena) and Sigrid.
