My sister selected Grand Highlands for her wedding venue after we toured various other local venues in the area. The views were phenomenal, and we really liked the flexibility you receive with the venue. For the same price as several other local venues you receive the venue all weekend (Friday noon to Sunday afternoon) as the other venues offer 8 hours to setup, breakdown, and have your event. After having the wedding, I don't know how people can accomplish all of that in eight hours. It was so nice being able to setup Friday and break everything down Sunday, rather than immediately after the wedding. Cody and Dean were so easy to work with. I work in the wedding industry and have worked with many venues. I have never seen another venue as flexible, responsive, and easy to get along with as this one. They give you total free reign with design and allow you to setup however you like (move furniture, re-arrange, etc). It really gives you an open canvas of whatever you want all with having gorgeous mountain views. There is not another venue around with better views, which was important to my sister since most of the guests were from out of town. The venue is clean, everything is in good working order, the furniture (inside and outside) is very nice, and the firepit is wonderful. I really cannot think of a bad thing to say or anything I would change. I HIGHLY recommend this venue.

Fantastic place to have a wedding. Beautiful view, you have the venue for the whole weekend-which makes setting up and cleaning up much easier! Dean is great-responsive, helpful and flexible. Grand Highlands looks even better in person. Fantastic outdoor and indoor ceremony locations. I looked at almost every wedding venue in the Asheville area and Grand Highlands really is the perfect place to have a mountain wedding.

Wonderful place to get married! The view is incredible and the lodge is perfect for a elegant, yet laid back feel to the event. Availability can be limited, but you get the facility for the entire weekend...not just the hours of the event. We were able to have our rehearsal dinner, wedding and come back on Sunday to help clean up...all for one price and without feeling rushed! Would highly recommend!

One look at this place and your jaw will drop - the views are just stunning. The Lodge is beautiful also. They only allow so many weddings per year so you know you will be getting a slightly unique edge on other brides and the views just seal the deal. They let you have the Lodge from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening all for the same rate which was spectacular. While the venue is a little bit more expensive it is not nearly as expensive as similar venues that have a lesser view and are much more restrictive. If you want a drop dead gorgeous outdoor wedding with very few restrictions, this is without a doubt the place for you!
