Her photos were beautiful and captured everything we loved about our wedding, but equally important, Shaina is an awesome person to have around before, during and after any special occasion. We worked with Shaina for our wedding and engagement photos. We were hesitant about doing engagement photos at all, but really ended up enjoying taking them with her. She also helped us get organized for our wedding, bringing up things we hadn't thought of and offering her advice (being an expert in the area) on gray areas. Shaina had a great way of getting things done efficiently but not seeming bossy or making the day all about photos. Our guests even commented on how present but unintrusive she was throughout the day. We highly recommend Shaina if you are looking for beautiful pictures from a lovely person!

My wife and I were first interested in Shaina because of two things: the happy and bright colors in her work, and her eagerness to work with non-traditional families. We are so happy we found her! She was so flexible and accommodating many, many times, and when we had a crazy idea for engagement photos, she was game. She was excellent working with our young kids to get great photos of them, and she captured some of everything during our day. We had a private elopement before our reception on our wedding day, and we were honored to have her there to witness our vows. We are so happy she was a part of our day! And that was before we saw the photos! They were all done before the 8 week mark, with sneak peeks much earlier, and they are GORGEOUS! Truly stunning. I don't even know where to start, inviting Shaina to be our wedding photographer was among the easiest and best decisions we made during the planning process. Shaina is an absolute rockstar and I can't believe we were so lucky to find her. Her style is warm and moment-driven, exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. Obviously the portraits are important - but she caught so many little moments during our day where I can literally feel the emotion coming out of them. She was super responsive, had great reminders in the days leading up and the day of (like wiping off your flowers before holding them so they don't drip water right before your first look), and even danced with us on the dance floor. I worked with Shaina recently on a photo shoot. Even though it isn't directly wedding-related, I HIGHLY recommend her as your photographer! She is VERY communicative and thorough. She explains everything out upfront and answers any questions that you may have. When it comes to day-of: she is prompt and organized. And she is such a sweetheart ! It's like working with a friend! Shaina was an absolute pleasure to work with. She asked us what shots were really important to us and made sure to get them. During the reception she was unobtrusive but definitely working hard- I had a handful of guests mention how nice she was! She provided us with a preview within 2 days of the wedding, and even gave us a couple of high-res files to use for printing thank you notes.
