Ok -- 48 hours before our wedding, our videographers cancelled on us (yes -- this ACTUALLY happened!) We were scrambling to find someone, and I came across Gold & Sage on instagram and sent them an email. Sarah responded and asked if she could call, which she did shortly after. We spoke about what we were looking for, and I mentioned something about wanting drone footage to capture me walking down the aisle. Sarah went back to her team and THANKFULLY 2 people were available on our wedding day. We confirmed everything, and I literally e-signed the contract at my rehearsal dinner! Phew, crisis averted. I was nervous about what to expect, and didn't really expect much given how last-minute this was, but at least I knew we'd get some video of our special day.

Elyse and Dustin -- a wife & husband duo -- promptly arrived the morning of our wedding. They actually got there before our photographer! We would have been lost without them. They exceeded our expectations. They project-managed so much and remembered to: collect our rings, our invitation suite, my dress, etc -- all to ensure those little details were captured on video. To be honest, without them there, I'm pretty sure we would not have captured any of that. And by the end of the day, I was so grateful our original videographers cancelled on us because we were in such great hands with Gold & Sage.

I got my teaser film within a few days and was soooo floored. It was so amazing. I did have a few edits I asked Sarah to do, and she did without making me feel bad! She was willing to do whatever I wanted re: the teaser -- and subsequent highlight film and documentary film -- and she was just such a great partner through all of this. Very easy to work with and very eager to please.

They also made sure they had the drone up and working; I didn't even know it was flying above me during the ceremony (didn't hear it at all!) and I was able to get that shot of me walking down the aisle with my dad. On the day-of I forgot I had even asked Sarah for that shot; but she hadn't forgot and made sure we were able to capture that.

My mom's mic stopped working during the ceremony as she was giving a reading, and apparently Dustin and Elyse pulled her aside during the reception (or cocktail hour?) sometime to ask her to re-read her words so they can ensure it's captured for video. The end result is amazing; there's this beautiful part in my video where my mom's voice is narrating and reading these precious words; the audio was flawless.

All in all...Sarah + team are very talented, there's no doubt about it. But what makes them so invaluable is their agility and willingness to just jump right in with limited direction. I was nervous, to be honest, about what we were getting ourselves into. Elyse and Dustin seemed very comfortable just showing up, greeting people, getting those details captured.

I am so so grateful we hired them. I wouldn't have had it any other way.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend the extra money on a videographer, but I am SO thankful I did! The video with the music, our vows, and toasts in the background and seeing the interaction between people truly captured all of the special moments of our wedding day! It is true - you don't remember your ceremony, so it is nice to have it all on video. Plus, my guests that were unable to attend appreciated me sharing our highlight video.

Gold & Sage was wonderful! Sarah was very responsive to all communication and flexible with the many changes with COVID-19. With our date change, Sarah was unable to film our wedding, but Daniel & Maria did a wonderful job getting all of the footage! Sarah edited all the pieces into a treasured masterpiece. Thank you Gold & Sage!

Sarah is an amazing videographer! She is also great to work with. She captured our wedding day perfectly!
