Gin & July, or just Maxx and Bre, is a wedding couple duo with an honest, photojournalistic approach to creating photographs. We believe that every love story is unique and that the images of your most memorable day should tell your story with truth and authenticity. Your gift to yourselves will be a visual narrative comprised of the biggest emotions and the smallest details. It's our goal that, when you look back upon your wedding photos, you feel the emotions of your wedding day as if it were happening all around you once again. If you're looking for your wedding photographer, then you have found them. My wife and I got married in August 2019, and we remember how daunting this search was. Max and Bre went above and beyond at every level. The communication was always quick and heartfelt. They made us feel so comfortable while being in front of the lens. We have lots of family, and they were so patient during the family portraits. We got the photos back so quickly and they sent even more shots then promised. The photos were everything we wanted and more. The coloring of the photos is so natural and timeless. Every time we go through them, it brings us back to our special day. We've referred them to our close family and friends, and they're actually shooting three of our friend's weddings in 2021. We've kept the relationship going since, and we can't wait for them to shoot our maternity shots down the line (:

Amazing!!!!
We originally found Maxx and Bre through a friend and after our initial phone call with them, I immediately called my mom and said “I found my wedding photographers!!” We cannot say enough amazing things about these two wonderful humans! I really wanted a small intimate wedding that felt very candid and natural and they understood my vision perfectly. Day of, we instantly clicked. It felt like we were best friends and they already knew my personality. I told them my fiance and I are super awkward in front of a camera and they worked their magic! We got our sneak peek pictures last night and MY GOD are they even better than I imagined. All our guests were obsessed with them and how they just perfectly fit in the party. We felt so comfortable with them and they ran with all our wacky ideas! I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is having a wedding or just wants to hang out with the coolest people ever!!!

Superheroes of the day!
I cannot say enough about this incredible duo! Maxx & Bre were absolutely amazing to work with- so kind, professional, and communicative! The day of, they literally became our superheroes! Not only were they expertly capturing every special moment beautifully, but they kept things moving and helped keep the day fun, light, and on track! We truly would not have made it through the day without them and are so grateful. Every moment with them was our favorite of the day and the few shots we have seen are just gorgeous!!! Truly one of the best decisions we made in our planning process was hiring Gin & July!

The absolute best photographers
Truly cannot say enough great things about Maxx and Bre. We chose them as our wedding photographers almost 3 years ago, and weren’t able to get married until last month (thanks COVID!). Throughout all of our COVID postponements and headaches, they were so responsive and understanding, which made such a difference (you’d be surprised how many wedding vendors don’t actually care about you). Add on that, they’re just super nice and fun people, AND their work is simply incredible. I’d recommend them to anyone, for engagement and wedding photography.

WOW! Amazing & Comfortable
WOW! Where do I begin? Maxx & Bre are not only incredible photographers but they are also great people! They are so fun and make your life EASY which as a bride that is so key the day of your wedding and leading up to it.
Our photos turned out better than I ever could have excepted! I love their style and how comfortable they always made us feel. I also love that they shoot both digital and film I would HIGHLY recommend Maxx & Bre for any of our photography needs!

One of a Kind Duo
From the moment we began our phone conversation with Maxx, I knew we'd found our wedding photographers. A few minutes later, Bre joined, and my husband and I were set - they were the ones. Maxx and Bre are fun and easygoing, but professional and passionate about what they do, with a great eye for interesting shots, locales, and unique ways to remember the experience. We're so thrilled that we found Maxx and Bre, and enjoyed every moment working with them. They not only went along with our traveling engagement shoot idea, but got just as excited and passionate about it as we were. And on the day of the wedding, they were just like another group of friends that we got to share our fantastic day with - who also happened to take awesome pictures. All this to say, I can't recommend these two enough, and I hope we have another chance to work with them!

Can’t recommend Maxx and Bre enough!
Photographers are one of the most important wedding vendors in my opinion, and I couldn’t have been more pleased in what we found with Maxx and Bre. They are not only extremely talented at what they do, but they also made us feel so comfortable while taking our photos! I had a vision for our engagement photos, and knew I wanted a mountain landscape but didn’t know exactly where, and Maxx recommend the perfect spot. They also gave us ideas for outfits, and told us which colors to consider wearing that would photograph best with the setting, which was super helpful. When it came to our wedding pictures, I loved how much realness they captured of the day, and not a ton of awkward posed pictures. When I look back at our pictures it brings me right back to that moment, and they are so seriously so good at capturing the important memories. In addition, some of the detail photos they took ended up being some of my favorite pictures. I have recommended them, and will continue to recommend them for years to come! Thanks Maxx and Bre!!

Simply the best
Easy to work with - check. Exceptional photos - check. Having a good time - check. Maxx and Bree checked all the boxes for our photoshoot experience. They go above any beyond to capture unique shots that will have you rushing to the printers as soon as you get them - like I did! Our expectations were surpassed when we saw the final photos from our shoot. If you hire them, you will not be disappointed.

Ahhhmazing photographers!
We took a chance on Maxx and Bre, found them through Wedding wire and loved the work we saw! Their style was so unique/different from the cookie cutter wedding images you see so often. They are both so easy going and creative, brought so many ideas to the table! I had a vision and they nailed every detail of what I had imagined for my dream wedding! It was honestly like we were hanging with some of our friends....to this day my husband keeps saying we should call Maxx and Bre! That’s how much we miss our time together. It was just easy with them.
The photos came just as promised....I get asked almost daily about my photos! They are unbelievable. I would recommend this couple to any future bride/grooms!

Amazing experience!
We hired Gin&July for our wedding as soon as we saw their amazing pictures online. From our initial contact to the delivery of our pictures everything went smoothly and we couldn’t be happier with our choice! Maxx and Breanna are an amazing, professional and fun couple; we felt very comfortable with them and in good hands the whole time. Our wedding day was great and they made us feel at ease with their calming attitude and most importantly, they took excellent pictures of our day! We ended up with great memories that really captured our feelings for each other and the vibe of our wedding. Nothing was too staged, and Maxx and Breanna brought a relaxed enthusiasm that helped make the whole day a breeze!
At the wedding they perfectly blended in with everyone. Just what you want from wedding photographers! The results were better than we could’ve hoped for. We even had a “trash-the-dress” photo shoot a week after the wedding which was lots of fun, and the pictures they took that day were great, too!
We can highly recommend Maxx and Breanna to everyone looking for amazing memories of their special day.
