My wedding was in October 2023 and the first thing I did when I got engaged was hire Gathered Events as full time planners. I live in Ohio and I was planning a wedding in Texas and was only able to fly back every couple of months. I had zero knowledge about planning a wedding and I had about a year and a half engagement. Brittney and Alexis were nothing but amazing the entire time. My initial zoom meeting was with Brittney and we immediately hit it off. She understood my vision for my wedding and was my lead creative design mastermind. Alexis is your type A organized queen that will handle anything and everything relating to all of the logistics of picking/ choosing/communicating/coordinating with vendors and timelines and can answer any question you have with the most prompt response time. Our main form of communication was through their planning portal and emailing and when it was close to wedding time we texted or called. When I was in town, if I needed to make decisions or meet with vendors Alexis made sure the appointments were made at a time that was good for me, her and the vendors. Either Alexis or Brittney went with me to every appointment and thank god they did because they knew exactly what questions to ask for each vendor which helped me make an informed decisions. They have top tier preferred vendors and trust me when I say they are TOP TIER. They do not work with any vendor that doesn’t do an amazing job and as a bride who has high expectations, I loved and appreciated this. If you want your wedding planning process and day of wedding to be 100% stress free trust me when I say you need to hire these two. They are the absolute dream team and truly felt like my loving friends during this entire process. My wedding was a literal dream and I’ve heard nothing but praise from my wedding party and guests and that is LITERALLY all because of Brittney and Alexis!!

We used Gathered Events for month of coordination and they also helped my in-laws plan our rehearsal dinner. I interviewed a lot of choices for coordinators and went with Gathered based on how on top of it Britt seemed to be. They executed our weekend perfectly and helped us bring all the little details together. Britt was great at answering any questions I had throughout planning and Alexis did a great job planning our rehearsal dinner and executing the weekend. My in-laws could not stop raving about working with Gathered.

Brittney has a keen eye for design and details! Our wedding say was absolutely breathtaking! I cried when we saw our venue and set up. Everything I had envisioned, came to life that day.I was so impressed with Brittney and her team throughout my entire year of planning, that on our wedding say, I relinquished all control over to her and her team. I wholeheartedly trusted her and told her she can make any and all necessary decisions without asking me. I wanted to fully enjoy my day and soak in the moment, and thanks to her impeccable planning and organization I was able to do so! She is organized, her communication is top notch, and she kept me in line with our budget. The whole year of planning was stress free, I was able to stay sane and work my full time job without worrying over details and coordination.

One of the best decisions I made was hiring Brittney and her team at Gathered Events. I wasn't sure at first if I wanted to hire a wedding planner and I am so glad I did. While I had a vision already in mind Brittney and her team made sure it came to life. Our day was more than I could have ever dreamed of. From the start I loved Brittney, she is so sweet and personable and has an eye for design. She was a perfect fit for us. She had a great variety of vendors that she was familiar with or had worked with and I was able to find who I wanted with her help. I loved that every time I emailed, called or sent a text I always received a response within the hour. She is VERY organized from planning, to timelines she was on it, which made my life easier! She made me feel at ease through the whole process. We had some hiccups at our venue for rehearsal dinner and the day of the wedding and Brittney and her team handled everything with such a top-notch level of professionalism and in the end, she made sure everything was just as we wanted. The extra time and work she put forth did not go unnoticed. It isn't often that you get this level of commitment. I know without a doubt that the day of our wedding wouldn’t have been the same and as magical as it was without her. So, a piece of advice for any couples getting married...hire Gathered Events. Gathered Events is nothing less than amazing! I was so indecisive and I know it took a lot of patience to really understand what we were wanting. Brittney took the time to understand us and came up with so many unique ways to make the wedding personalized and about us, which I was grateful for. She created a mood board and plan that was spot on and really pulled our wedding together. To be honest, I really went back and forth on whether hiring a planner was needed, but after everything, I wouldn't dream of trying to pull off a wedding without Brittney and her team! They executed it perfectly. The style and atmosphere was more than what we could have imagined, and the team was with us every step of the way. We used so many vendors that they recommended, and they were all so easy to work with. Brittney and her team took care of everything and it really let us be in the moment and take a lot of pressure off of us so we could enjoy the time we spent. I really can't picture our day being the same without them.. They were the best decision of are wedding by far, and both my fiance and I are so thankful!

I do not know how Tanner and I would have made it through our wedding day without Brittney and her team. We hired Gathered Events for month of planning about 20 days before our wedding. You might be right in assuming we are procrastinators but even though they did not have an entire month to help us plan I think this is more of a testament to how organized and professional this team is and you can be assured they will make your big day flow seamlessly.

One of our biggest concerns was that we still had not found a cake baker when we started working with Brittney. I had been in contact with multiple bakeries and each time they either dropped communication with me or their quotes were just too high for our budget. Brittney got right on this. She found a baker that was absolutely amazing, as was her quote! I have never tasted such a delicious wedding cake and Brittney was a huge part in making that happen.

Communication is something at which Brittney excels. Not only were she and I emailing back and forth most days but I found out she was also in contact with everyone in our wedding party to make sure they were prepared for the big day. The amount of stress this took off of myself and my fiancé was immense! I honestly do not think we would have had the time to send all these emails and contact all the vendors to finalize details.

Speaking of details Brittney will make sure your entire wedding day is planned down to the minute and you and your wedding party will all get a detailed timeline. Something unexpected happens and the bride is slightly late getting to the chapel? Not to fear! The team will easily adjust the timeline and assure you that everything will be fine. Need a little extra time to get those super romantic couples photos at your ceremony venue after all the guests leave? No problem! Timeline will have already been adjusted by the time you arrive at your reception. You and your spouse can just concern yourself with having a great time and let Brittney and her team make sure everything happens when it needs to.

There were so many small things they did that just blew my mind. The team was in charge of decorating the reception venue and they created such a beautiful atmosphere. All I had to do was meet quickly with the team to explain how I wanted the centerpieces arranged. Brittney did something super sweet and let me go up to see the space by myself once they finished and I was stunned! It was so special to be able to see everything in all its glory before the guests arrived. I had also been worried about how Tanner and I would be able to eat at least a little bit of dinner without having guests try to chat to us the entire time. I had seen this happen at other weddings, we even had some friends who didn’t end up eating anything at their reception, but I didn’t need to worry. Another stellar member of the Gathered Events team, Katie, stood watch and politely intercepted anyone walking towards our table and asked that they give us just a few moments to finish our meal.

Brittney saved our wedding day! Originally we were not going to have a planner at all, but I came across Gathered Events and had been stressing over the no planner thing for a while. I met with Brittney and we discussed all of the pieces to my wedding and she came with a checklist prepared with all things I could have or want for my big day and there were multiple things missing that I had not even thought about.. She got all of those things handled that following week and I felt such a huge wave of relief come over me now that I had her there for me. She had a timeline ready for everyone, she provided a emergency kit for the bridal and grooms suite, and she always knew what to do! The wedding day was so easy and she was so good at keeping me and the girls relaxed through out the stress of events. I wish I would have found her in the very beginning and booked her for the full and design, because the few things that I didn't like day of she was able to switch around or change without a thought. I truly believe my day wouldn't have been the same without her or honestly with anyone else. Brittney and her team are worth every cent and will make sure your wedding is perfect. My entire family is so thankful for her and we will always be recommending her to any engaged couple!
