This resort is embedded in Native American history due to its location on their past canyons and plateaus. In fact, the canyon on which this resort resides, Unaweep Canyon, is a Native American word which can be defined as “canyon with two mouths.” Surrounded by this rich Native American history and legacy, along with the natural beauty of the surrounding red rock country, you will be able to experience your dream wedding in a secluded and memorable recreation resort.

Facilities and Capacity
Couples have plenty of venue space--11,000 square feet of it to be exact--in which to utilize for their ceremony and reception. To fully experience the red rock country, you can choose one of the resort’s uncovered outdoor settings. Outdoor settings include the Cottonwood Terrace, which is surrounded by mountain flora and expansive lawns. Indoors, couples can take advantage of the large and elegant Palisade Event Center. This space is very accommodating and can hold both casual and more opulent ceremonies. Other setting options include the Mission Bell Amphitheater, Paradox Grille Courtyard, and the Ponds. Couples are welcome to invite up to 200 guests. Additionally, couples and guests are welcome to stay on property after the ceremony is over. The resort contains 72 rooms that your wedding party can request. Continuing your stay on property allows you and your wedding party to take advantage of the many outdoor activities the area has to offer, such as fly-fishing, kayaking, or riding in a UTV.
