Armida was AMAZING!

After making an appointment, I was called back by a stylist to better understand my vision for my perfect wedding dress. There were some follow up questions and the stylist asked if there’d be anyone joining that I wouldn’t want their opinion to overshadow my experience. Luckily there wasn’t but I appreciated the question as I imagine the stylist would help to divert attention from any negative comments made by my wedding party (although in my case that wasn’t needed).

Upon arrival, we were greeted and Armida’s bubbly personality helped to get excited about the process. This was the very first time dress shopping and her excitement was contagious! She had a few dresses picked out but still wanted to be sure we were on same page about my vision and added a few more to the rack.
The very first dress I tried on, I LOVED!! And so did everyone. And every dress after that was beautiful too. Armida had a way of picking beautiful dresses that I absolutely loved. She asked what I liked/didn’t like about each dress or if there were parts of a particular dress that I wished others had and she had a solution to my concerns.
Overall great service from Armida! I ended up saying yess to the dress that I tried on first.
Thank you for a positive and great experience! I cannot wait for the big day!

Such an amazing experience! Went into the appointment on a whim, wasn't expecting for fimd a dress or not. I had a vision of dresses I loved and they made it come true. Was able to build the dress I wanted.

Loved ever moment

Will you laugh? Yes! Will you cry? Of course! Will you be ready to put that dress on today and celebrate? Absolutely!! This was my first and last stop on the wedding dress tour. I had in mind exactly what I wanted including the budget and Granet just stood out to me. TAMIKO was amazingly helpful, patient and she listened. First off we were late and I naturally assumed we'd be rushed and there would be no way I'd find a dress. But Tamiko asked her questions, listened to everyone's feedback and got to work. The group favorite eventually only because my favorite but Tamiko reminded me it was my day and I could choose what I wanted!! I did not get what I wanted, I actually ended up with the opposite of what I wanted and I love every inch of it. If Garnet did bridesmaid dresses I'd be right there!! But if your looking for something amazing and don't want to break the bank... this is the place for you.

Hands-down best local dress shop

I had purchased another dress that I didn't love, but I was convinced that I needed to sacrifice fashion for budget. This shop blew my mind! The dresses they have are a few seasons old, but they are high-quality, beautiful, and ready to go home the same day! And Shauna was so kind and knowledgeable as she helped me pick the perfect dress. I recommend this shop to everyone I can!

Love Garnet + Grace!

I had such a wonderful experience at Garnet + Grace! With COVID, finding a place to dress shop was difficult, so I had visited a few stores before going to Garnet + Grace because I knew that if I liked a dress there, I’d have to buy it right away. Because of COVID, I couldn’t go in during the shutdown but Tamiko made a Facetime appointment with me so that she could talk to me, get a sense of my style, and show me some dresses to hold for me until I was able to come and try on. Once I was able to try on dresses, Tamiko and the staff were SO helpful. They listened to what I was saying, and when I wasn’t fully convinced of certain dresses, they would help me add belts, veils, hairpieces, whatever I would need to help see it come together. Tamiko and the staff were so patient and helped me find my perfect dress. I also got my dress altered there too. The size of the dress was a 10 and needed to be brought down to a 6 and Hayam did a great job. She also listened to what I wanted and made those adjustments so that it fit like a glove. Her price was reasonable, and her turnaround time was quick. I was really happy with my experience and would recommend Garnet + Grace!

Finding the one when I least expected it...

I found Grace and Garnet on Yelp. I follow them on Instagram and saw that they had their black Friday sale going on, having already been to two previous bridal appointments (at another store) I decided last minute to set an appointment. I live in Whittier so it was local. I decided I would go alone to check it out. I was not expecting to find a dress I liked to be honest. Shauna helped me and I loved how personal she made my experience. I found the dress that I have been looking for. They were so accommodating. Highly recommend!

Found my dream dress :)

I was completely blown away by my experience here. I came in with my mom and my MOH for our appointment. Our appointment started a few minutes late however, it was due to our stylist Shauna making sure her previous bride was happy with what she chose before moving on. I appreciated how caring and attentive Shauna was for that bride and she gave me and my family that same attention and care. Shauna suggested a gown to me that was completely different than the gowns I had tried on at different bridal salons and gotta say, Shauna has one hell of a good eye. She saw exactly what I needed even though I wasn't able to articulate that for myself. The dress I ended up with is the dress that brought my mom and I to tears, can't really ask for more can I? I'm sad I only get to be a bride once, I would have loved to come here over and over again.

Great experience

It was my first time visiting a bridal salon and I had a wonderful experience. Tamiko helped me out, as well as another bride, but she did her very best to make my appointment wonderful. She listened to what I was looking for plus staying within my budget. I'm a curvy bride and I was worried I wouldn't find anything that would fit or look good on me. She was very patient and I ended up going with a dress that was simple and elegant, but perfect for my occasion.

Found my perfect dress for a great price!

Wonderful dress shop! I met with Genevieve and she was so sweet and welcoming, highly recommend her, she made me feel so excited about my dress! We browsed the racks and my mom spotted an amazing Allure gown - it was like if Kate Spade made a ballgown! The price was incredible and they were running a promotion for $200 off, and I loved to be able to buy it and take it home that day (as opposed to biting my nails for a few months as it got ordered, like other shops!). All in all, wonderful experience and highly recommended. The only downside is the lighting in the room - not too great... I think the shop would benefit from some more inside natural lighting so photos capture the dresses in all its glory!
