  Such an amazing experience! Went into the appointment on a whim, wasn't expecting for fimd a dress or not. I had a vision of dresses I loved and they made it come true. Was able to build the dress I wanted.

  Great experience

  It was my first time visiting a bridal salon and I had a wonderful experience. Tamiko helped me out, as well as another bride, but she did her very best to make my appointment wonderful. She listened to what I was looking for plus staying within my budget. I'm a curvy bride and I was worried I wouldn't find anything that would fit or look good on me. She was very patient and I ended up going with a dress that was simple and elegant, but perfect for my occasion.

  Found my dream dress :)

  I was completely blown away by my experience here. I came in with my mom and my MOH for our appointment. Our appointment started a few minutes late however, it was due to our stylist Shauna making sure her previous bride was happy with what she chose before moving on. I appreciated how caring and attentive Shauna was for that bride and she gave me and my family that same attention and care. Shauna suggested a gown to me that was completely different than the gowns I had tried on at different bridal salons and gotta say, Shauna has one hell of a good eye. She saw exactly what I needed even though I wasn't able to articulate that for myself. The dress I ended up with is the dress that brought my mom and I to tears, can't really ask for more can I? I'm sad I only get to be a bride once, I would have loved to come here over and over again.

  Hands-down best local dress shop

  I had purchased another dress that I didn't love, but I was convinced that I needed to sacrifice fashion for budget. This shop blew my mind! The dresses they have are a few seasons old, but they are high-quality, beautiful, and ready to go home the same day! And Shauna was so kind and knowledgeable as she helped me pick the perfect dress. I recommend this shop to everyone I can!

  Love Garnet + Grace!

  I had such a wonderful experience at Garnet + Grace! With COVID, finding a place to dress shop was difficult, so I had visited a few stores before going to Garnet + Grace because I knew that if I liked a dress there, I’d have to buy it right away. Because of COVID, I couldn’t go in during the shutdown but Tamiko made a Facetime appointment with me so that she could talk to me, get a sense of my style, and show me some dresses to hold for me until I was able to come and try on. Once I was able to try on dresses, Tamiko and the staff were SO helpful. They listened to what I was saying, and when I wasn’t fully convinced of certain dresses, they would help me add belts, veils, hairpieces, whatever I would need to help see it come together. Tamiko and the staff were so patient and helped me find my perfect dress. I also got my dress altered there too. The size of the dress was a 10 and needed to be brought down to a 6 and Hayam did a great job. She also listened to what I wanted and made those adjustments so that it fit like a glove. Her price was reasonable, and her turnaround time was quick. I was really happy with my experience and would recommend Garnet + Grace!

  Finding the one when I least expected it...

  I found Grace and Garnet on Yelp. I follow them on Instagram and saw that they had their black Friday sale going on, having already been to two previous bridal appointments (at another store) I decided last minute to set an appointment. I live in Whittier so it was local. I decided I would go alone to check it out. I was not expecting to find a dress I liked to be honest. Shauna helped me and I loved how personal she made my experience. I found the dress that I have been looking for. They were so accommodating. Highly recommend!

  Found my perfect dress for a great price!

  Wonderful dress shop! I met with Genevieve and she was so sweet and welcoming, highly recommend her, she made me feel so excited about my dress! We browsed the racks and my mom spotted an amazing Allure gown - it was like if Kate Spade made a ballgown! The price was incredible and they were running a promotion for $200 off, and I loved to be able to buy it and take it home that day (as opposed to biting my nails for a few months as it got ordered, like other shops!). All in all, wonderful experience and highly recommended. The only downside is the lighting in the room - not too great... I think the shop would benefit from some more inside natural lighting so photos capture the dresses in all its glory!

  I said yes to the dress!

  GARNET + grace was recommended to me by a colleague. I went in with no expectations because I heard that many brides may visit multiple stores. I have to say that I was ecstatic that I found my dress at this store! Amanda was my associate and she did an AMAZING job at picking different dresses and attending to my needs. I tried on 7-8 dresses and the last one was a wildcard and happened to be “the one!” The prices are very reasonable and it’s awesome to be able to take home the dress the minute you pay for it. They also have many sample sales and styles. I would definitely recommend GARNET + grace!

  Loved ever moment

  Will you laugh? Yes! Will you cry? Of course! Will you be ready to put that dress on today and celebrate? Absolutely!! This was my first and last stop on the wedding dress tour. I had in mind exactly what I wanted including the budget and Granet just stood out to me. TAMIKO was amazingly helpful, patient and she listened. First off we were late and I naturally assumed we'd be rushed and there would be no way I'd find a dress. But Tamiko asked her questions, listened to everyone's feedback and got to work. The group favorite eventually only because my favorite but Tamiko reminded me it was my day and I could choose what I wanted!! I did not get what I wanted, I actually ended up with the opposite of what I wanted and I love every inch of it. If Garnet did bridesmaid dresses I'd be right there!! But if your looking for something amazing and don't want to break the bank... this is the place for you.

  I was surprised by my bridesmaids and mother for a bridal fitting. They treated us like a VIB (very important bride). I felt like they really listened to what I was working for and made it a very fun experience. My dream dress was the first one I tried on. After working with their seamstress I was able to make alterations to the dress that made me fall in love with it more! I can’t wait for all my guests to see it on my big day! Very professional would highly recommend.

  Really affordable

  When it came time to start the dress shopping, I was so nervous because I am not a very decisive person when it comes to things that I have to choose because I love it. I am more of your easy going and go with the flow kind of person. Tamiko made the process so easy and she worked with me so well. I probably tried on like 6-8 dresses and at first I was going to go with one dress because I was going for the rustic look to fit our wedding venue. BUT, my mother and a couple of people who were not there the first time with me didn't like the dress I picked out. Tamiko told me brides after they found one they go to different shops to see what else is out there and sure enough that is what I did which was SO BAD of me. I even made the process more stressful than I really should have. I was so tired of looking and when I went back with my mom and sister in law, I told Tamiko what happened and I showed her that I am looking more for a different dress. She found one dress and that was THE DRESS!!! I seriously fell in love with it and so did my mom and sister in law. The dress was gorgeous and beautiful!!! I didn't think it would have worked with my venue as it is very rustic, but in all honesty it did work. My dress was THE HIGHLIGHT of the night as it should be. EVERYONE complimented how beautiful it was. Thank you Tamiko so much for working with me!! You are seriously an amazing person and you made the dress shopping less stressful for me.

  I added the cuffed sleeves to the dress and it looked GORGEOUS!!! I wanted something to cover my broad shoulders and Tamiko helped me with the ideas and loved it. It really looked like part of the dress.

  I can’t say enough about how amazing these women are! I got my wedding dress here in May and Tamiko was fantastic in helping me find the perfect dress! I came in with a vague I idea of what I wanted and she was able to find THE one with a few questions and by gauging my reaction to the first few dresses.   First of all TaMiko was amazing!!! I am originally from Whittier but I moved out of state 4 yrs ago with my fiance. So I planned my dress shopping around mother's day weekend so I could kill two birds with one stone. I looked up dress shops and only went to one. And that one dress shop was Garnet + Grace! Tried on a good amount of dresses, even made sure I could dance in them! Lol..
  And found my perfect wedding dress! All thanks to TaMiko and of course my mother and bridesmaids who said Yes and No to the choices!

  I would highly recommend future brides to stop by Brilliant Bridal first before they go anywhere else. The service is great, the communication and flexibility is awesome, and most importantly, beautiful dresses at a fraction of the cost! I did say yes to the dress the first time around!   I would highly recommend future brides to stop by Brilliant Bridal first before they go anywhere else. The service is great, the communication and flexibility is awesome, and most importantly, beautiful dresses at a fraction of the cost! I did say yes to the dress the first time around!   This was the first and only bridal shop that I went to. Claudia gave me the best attention and service and helped me find my dress. She is knowledgeable and definitely knows what she is talking about. They have beautiful gowns in different price ranges.

I'm a size 12 and had been to at least four shops before where staff tried to stuff me into a size 6 or 8 because that's all they have.   I went to Brilliant Bridal in hopes to find the perfect dress and found a Maggie Dress both my mother and I feel in love with. I can't wait to alter it to make it the perfect dress to show to my future hubby on our wedding date.
  
  Additionally, I worked with Sara and I also just walked in without an appointment and she took care of me right away. I also like the idea that you don't have to pay for all of the dress up front. They give you 3 months to pay it off.

  I found this company through Instagram. I will be getting married next June! I actually found my Dress back in May. I was in no shape or form going to look for my dress at that time, however they had a huge sale on the 3 day weekend and something told me to go. Sarah had actually fit me in as a walk in and I was super excited. She was so nice and made my dress finding experience amazing. I actually managed to find a dress for only $95 dollars!!!! Never did I ever think I would find such a beautiful gown that was retailing at $800 for such a steal!! I can not wait to wear it and thank you Brilliant Bridal for making my experience awesome!

  I went to Brilliant Bridal for their Memorial Day Weekend Sale, and I had the best wedding dress shopping experience I could ever ask for! It was my very first time going wedding dress shopping. I went to Brilliant Bridal specifically for the $95 dresses because I really did not want to spend so much on a dress that I would just wear once.
  
  Sarah was the one who helped me and I felt like we were always on the same page! Before trying on dresses, she asked me a few questions about what I was looking for and I straight up told her I was only there for the $95 dresses and I didn’t want to waste her time. She was totally fine with that! She had also noticed me looking at the wedding dress that was on the mannequin in the front display and said she could pull that one for me since I looked interested in it. I proceeded to have her also pull a few other $95 dresses for me to try on. But as it turned out, that first dress from the window display fit me perfectly and I loved how it looked on me!
  
  Though I was pretty sure I had my mind set, I was really curious about trying on the more expensive dresses and I wanted to see how I would look in different styles. Sarah was totally cool with that and let me try on a few more dresses that were in the $800-1200 range. I didn’t think that I looked as good in any of those dresses and Sarah agreed. I like how she did not try to push me to purchase the more expensive dresses at all. She honestly told me that the very first dress looked the best on me.
  
  I would advise brides to get on the Brilliant Bridal mailing list so that you know when they are having their sales, and check it out because you may get lucky. I sure did!

As a plus size bride on a budget, I never thought I would be able to afford a beautiful lace dress! Claudia was absolutely wonderful and really listened to how I wanted to look that day! My mom wasn't there for the appointment, but they graciously allowed me to come back later in the day (oh the busiest days of all.. Saturdays) and let me mom see it. Wonderful staff and AMAZING prices!
