Hi, I’m Justine, the owner and planner behind From Scratch Events, NE.

If there is one thing you should know about me, it is that I am going to care about the details of your wedding almost as much as you do.

I love being the person who knows the plan, sees what is coming next, catches the detail everyone else missed, and handles the things you should never have to deal with on your wedding day.

My approach is very personal. I call it my best friend approach because I want you to feel like you have someone beside you who actually knows you, understands your vision, remembers the details you mentioned months ago, and knows when you need an answer, a solution, reassurance, or someone to simply take over.

But I am not just there to be supportive.

I am there to take charge.

I will keep vendors moving, protect the timeline, answer the questions, handle the family logistics, fix the unexpected, straighten the details, find the missing item, solve the problem nobody planned for, and make decisions when you should be somewhere else enjoying your wedding.

You may never even hear about half of what I handled that day.

That is exactly how I want it.

My background is rooted in hospitality. I grew up around the restaurant industry and a family of culinary professionals, then went on to gain experience in banquet coordination and working with high profile clientele.

That taught me that a beautiful event is about far more than decor.

It is timing.

It is atmosphere.

It is service.

It is knowing what your guests need before they ask.

It is understanding how every vendor, detail, transition, and decision affects the experience as a whole.

That is what I bring into every wedding I coordinate.

I am extremely detail oriented, very hands on, and usually thinking several steps ahead. I notice the little things. I ask the questions other people forget to ask. I care about how the room looks, how the timeline feels, how your guests are being treated, and most importantly, whether you are actually getting to enjoy the wedding you spent so much time planning.

And yes, I will absolutely tell you when it is time to stop worrying, put the phone down, and go be the bride.

I do not want working with a wedding professional to feel cold or transactional.

I want you to feel comfortable calling me, asking the weird question, changing your mind, sending me the inspiration photo, telling me what is stressing you out, or handing me something and saying, “Can you just handle this?”

Usually, the answer is yes.

Some brides need me months before the wedding.

Some need me when the vendors, spreadsheets, family questions, timelines, and final details suddenly start feeling like a second job.

Some simply want to hand everything over when wedding weekend arrives and know that someone capable is in control.

Wherever you fall, my job is the same.

I want you to feel prepared before your wedding and completely present during it.

Because when your wedding day finally gets here, you should not be checking timelines, answering vendor questions, moving decor, solving problems, or wondering what is supposed to happen next.

You should be the bride.
