The Frisco Heritage Center, a museum with a banquet hall, opens its doors for weddings in the greater Dallas, Texas area. This vintage and rustic venue offers a barn-like banquet hall and a wedding chapel among their most popular event locations. Couples can find this venue 23 minutes from Lewisville Lake, setting it approximately 35 minutes outside of downtown Dallas.
Facilities and Capacity
Couples can invite a maximum of 120 guests to their wedding at the Frisco Heritage Center. Couples can marry outdoors in the grand white gazebo, or use it as a location for charming wedding portraits, which is located just steps from the other facilities on this property. For an indoor ceremony, couples can consider the Lebanon Chapel. This vintage wedding location features blazing stained-glass windows, a tin tiled ceiling, and iron candelabras. It is the perfect traditional wedding location. The white Smith Muse house, a prairie-style home, has two parlors on the first floor and three rooms upstairs. Couples can use this venue for a homey indoor reception of around 60 guests. It features classic and historic architectural elements, from the wooden mantels over the fireplace to the wallpaper. The Frisco Museum is a newer building with a brick facade. It offers space for up to 70 guests in the upstairs theater and rotunda. From here, couples can look out large windows for panoramic views of the property. The Frisco Depot has a modern grey exterior with a barn-like interior banquet hall. Wood paneling on the walls and ceiling inside this venue, as well as large white barn doors, make this space modernly rustic. Market lights hang from the ceiling with a cheerful glow.
Couples can host any wedding-related event at the Frisco Heritage Center, from ceremonies and receptions to bridal showers, engagement parties to rehearsal dinners. The venue even welcomes couples for elopements. Staff assists with setup and clean up on the wedding day while couples get ready in the bridal suite. Event rentals including audio equipment, chairs, decor, drapery, lighting, and tables are available for couples’ selection at this museum. Most reception spaces include a dance floor as well. Other services at this center include:
The bridal suite at this venue is its own building, called the Crozier Bridal Suite. Located in a historic pastel green house, this suite features massive windows and vintage furniture. With all the amenities — and traditional touches — of a home, this bridal suite has everything a couple may need in order to prepare for their big day. There is even a three-way mirror for last minute checks and artistically staged photographs.
Many of the buildings at this venue have a rich history. The Frisco Lebanon Church was relocated to this site after nearly 100 years of service to its congregation in town. The chapel was moved to the Frisco Heritage Center and restored to its original 1904 glory to be used as a ceremony and event venue. It still contains its original pews, pulpit, floors, and ceiling. The Smith Muse House was built just a year after the chapel in 1905. It too was restored after its move to the Heritage Center and opened to accommodate rentals and receptions. The Crozier Bridal Suite is the oldest building on the property, built in 1895. The two-story house’s lumber was hauled from Jefferson, Texas to its original location in Lebanon. The antique furnishings in the house are all originals or donations to the building.

I wish I could’ve given 6 stars! Brenda was amazing to say the least. Super helpful, very friendly and an all around joy to be around. When my boneheaded brothers started getting rowdy she helped me reel them in so that we could all focus on the rehearsal. I’m a bit stubborn at times but Brenda is the most patient and kindest person I’ve met. You can count yourself lucky if you get Brenda to tend to your wedding and/or reception needs. Right before the ceremony I got nervous and forgot when and where I needed to go. She helped me through it. Thank you so much Brenda for everything. I’m glad we chose you and Frisco Heritage Center for our wedding and ceremony. You helped us created a fun and memorable wedding. Thanks again for everything.Sent on 04/24/2018

Wedding Ceremony and Reception
Wonderfully beautiful venue for our daughter’s wedding. The Chapel is very nicely done with spectacular stain glass windows, pews, and the perfect atmosphere. We utilized the Victorian house next door for the Bride’s entourage to use pre-ceremony and it was spacious and ideal for the wedding party to do last minute touch-ups. The grounds offer diverse and beautiful locations for photographic opportunities and is spacious enough to have it to yourself. The reception hall was wonderful in its uniqueness and has multiple rooms to hold different aspects of your reception from a small gathering to a large party.Sent on 04/30/2019
Brenda Tighe was our contact for the facility and her expertise really impressed us. She was readily available to lend her experience to assure we had the perfect wedding. Without her help we could not have done this as successful as she was able to. Overall, this experience was fantastic and we recommend this to everyone.

Excellent Wedding or Special Event Venue
We wanted a place that could offer indoor areas for both the wedding and reception for our daughter's wedding. The chapel is lovely and was perfect for the wedding, the house next to it was used as the bridal suite, and we used the train depot for the reception. There are plenty of hotels in the area for guests and restaurants for catering and locations for the rehearsal dinner. Brenda was extremely helpful. She answered questions, made suggestions, was very responsive, and was an enormous help at both the rehearsal and the wedding. The only thing I would change would be the lack of refrigerators. It would be nice if they put a small refrigerator in the house (dorm/hotel room size would be fine) to be able to have cold drinks without bringing a cooler. It would also be nice to have a regular refrigerator in the bar service area in the train depot. (There is a refrigerator in the kitchen, but it is not convenient for the bar.) Our family felt the Frisco Heritage Canter was the perfect place for the wedding and reception and would be ideal for a lot of special occasions.Sent on 06/19/2019
