Friends Farm is a farm with a event barn in the greater Raleigh, North Carolina area that couples can use for their weddings. This wooded farm location includes a beautiful rustic barn in the forest with all the appeal of a lodge surrounded by grasses, gardens, and plenty of trees. Couples can find this private venue 25 minutes outside of Greensboro, North Carolina and about 90 minutes from the Raleigh-Durham International Airport.
Facilities and Capacity
Couples can invite up to 150 guests to celebrate their special occasion at Friends Farm. Upon these 15 acres couples will find numerous locations at which to host their wedding. A Wedding Gazebo decorated with flowing white fabric and twinkling lights. This square gazebo is slightly raised, giving guests the ability to see from any seat unimpeded. There is also an event barn for the couple’s wedding reception. This rustic space has wooden walls and a green roof, blending perfectly with the surrounding forest. An outside covered deck that wraps around the building is the perfect place for a cocktail hour or wedding reception overflow. Inside, large windows look out at the surrounding grounds.

Options such as a dove release and wagon ride for the wedding party set this venue apart from other outdoorsy or rustic wedding locations. Friends Farm was an awesome venue. I have been at a LOT of barn venues...A LOT and these guys were definitely one of the best! The staff was so friendly and helpful, my bride actually had a flower mishap, and her bouquets were not delivered. The staff went out of their way to provide some last minute silk flowers for the entire wedding party! The grounds were also beautiful, very picturesque and made finding the perfect spots for photos very easy!
Mary Lynn and Pat are the owners of this fantastic wedding venue located in Belews Creek North Carolina just outside of Kernersville. They have truly established a world-class wedding venue that provides opportunities and scenery like no other. The second you step foot on to this fantastic property, you are amazed at how beautiful and personable they have truly made their venue. The brand new reception barn can easily seat many of your guests. The charm of the cabin along with the recently added gentleman a quarters, really add to the ease and excitement of your wedding day. We cannot forget their signature dove release. We have been blessed to be a part of Friends Farm and feel like every person that has had the opportunity to work with Mary Lynn and PAT walk away from their special day feeling overjoyed and thankful that they chose such an amazing wedding venue!
