Working with Kate from Freebird was an absolute dream. From our engagement photo session we knew we loved her but she really blew us away on our wedding day. We got married in downtown Boston and the city was extremely busy as we went out to take pictures, Kate managed to stay calm, focused and keep our entire wedding party on task for every single picture. She scoped out multiple location shots for us prior to our wedding day and we only have our sneak peek back but we can already tell that the pictures are going to be perfect. Kate is such an amazing and sweet person and she made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She was flexible as multiple family members were asking her to take pictures and our entire wedding parties and families just loved her. Kate is absolutely incredible. When we first started tackling wedding planning we started with finding a photographer. Kate's work is HANDS DOWN the best. Freebird Photography (aka Kate) is extraordinary. Kate shot our engagement/save the date pictures and covered our entire wedding. It is hard for me to find the words to describe her eye behind the lens. Kate is able to find every single perfect angle at the perfect light and at the correct moment. We are SO happy that we chose Kate as our photographer. We first met Kate over a year ago when she shot our engagement photos and we instantly knew how amazing she was! My husband and I felt so comfortable and the pictures turned out great. On our big day, Kate was amazing. She worked so well with our families and even helped bustle my wedding dress! The moment we met with Kate at Freebird Photography, we knew that not only would we have the most beautiful photos from one of the most important days of our lives, but that we would end the evening with a long time friend.

Our package included an engagement session which we did a little under a year prior to our wedding in Portsmouth, NH. Kate was there early, as she scouted and searched for the best light before we even got there. We walked through downtown for about 45 minutes and I was in awe when I received my photos back. I couldn't believe how beautiful our photos were. It was then that I realized that I wouldn't regret hiring Freebird for our special day.

A month prior to our wedding, we had a call with Kate to go over the day of timeline and photos we were looking to get on the day of our wedding. Kate was pleasant and informative and handled all of our requests beautifully.

On the day of our wedding, Kate and her assistant, Marissa, were true ROCKSTARS! It was raining on our day, and she assured me that overcast was the best light. She arrived early with umbrellas in tow for our bridal party. When we arrived at the venue, Kate & Marissa kept all of us on time, in a true professional manner, and made sure we got all the photos we requested and were not intrusive whatsoever throughout the reception. Before leaving, Kate asked if there was any other shots she may have missed that I wanted. The next morning, my sneak peeks arrived in my e-mail inbox, which is insane to me during prime wedding season.

I cannot say enough good things about Kate and Freebird Photography :) Pictures from our engagement session and our wedding were all captured in such a beautiful way and will always be cherished by us. From the beginning of the planning all the way through to the wedding day Kate was always available to chat and bounce ideas off of, which was super helpful especially when I felt lost at some points, she helped me make decisions and calm any anxiety! She is an extremely genuine and thoughtful person with an amazing talent that shows through her work and her interactions with us, our family and friends. Kate and Jessie (second photographer for the wedding, who was equally as awesome as Kate and so friendly) made everyone in and at the wedding feel extra comfortable in front of the camera. It was FREEZING outside for our first look and wedding party pictures but they made the time fly by and got some of my favorite pictures from this time (even though it is impossible to pick favorite pictures from the huge amount that Kate quickly gets back to you!). We have received numerous compliments and praise on all of the pictures and I smile when looking at every single one of them :) You cannot go wrong with Freebird Photography…the absolute best and our definite for any future photography needs!

Not sure where to begin! Kate was amazing!!! We were so lucky to have found her. She was not only an awesome person and fun to work with, she captured everything and more! She is so friendly and easy going and made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera including the wedding party! The compliments on our photos over everything else has been overwhelming. She is so talented and provided pictures of every aspect of our special day! Kate and her second shooter, Marissa, are fabulous!! They are so friendly and easy going and made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera on our wedding day.
