Fogg Sound started in 1984 performing at thousands of events in the Southern New England area. Building on that success (and dreaming of great Florida weather) owner, John Finnegan, eventually moved the company to the Sarasota area.

John uses professional equipment, is insured against liability, performs in appropriate attire, is customer focused, has emergency plans in place, and refrains from smoking or drinking alcoholic beverages while performing. This is not to imply that John is a "human boom box" who just pushes buttons while appearing aloof and unapproachable. On the contrary, he employs a professional posture throughout an event, welcoming requests, interacting with guests, and leading group and individual activities as necessary and previously approved by you, his client.

For weddings, communions, showers, etc., Fogg Sound offers a white sound system option employing a white DJ booth facade, speakers, speaker stands and lighting effects. A separate sound system can be ordered for ceremonies and cocktail hours being held in rooms or areas away from the main reception site.
