First off I’d like to say that Mat as a human being and photographer is so friendly, thorough and phenomenal. We just got married September 19, 2025. I had literally found him as an ad on my Instagram as the first photographer I ever found when I got engaged in his style, stuck in my head, and I was very persistent that I NEEDED to have him photograph my wedding. I looked around, but Focus Studios always came back in my mind. Not only was he amazing from the day I spoke with him, but he also did an amazing engagement shoot with us prior to the wedding. His teammate, Nicole shot video for us, and she was so down to earth and made me so comfortable. I am so eager to see our pictures and videos and I can’t recommend Mat and Nicole enough! Thank you SO much for making my dream day so magical and making my photo visions come to life!!

For a groom who would rather be behind the camera than in front of it, I can honestly say that hubby-to-be was so at ease with our photo shoots and had so much fun doing it! Mat and Nicole made sure we got all our family shots out of the way early so that we could all enjoy the celebration, but also found time for us to have a blast doing some fun unplanned shots like us chasing rainbows, my dad making a mess in the kitchen and me running around a field in my socks!

Focus Studios captures pure magic! One of our biggest things while wedding planning was photography. We felt this was truly the only thing that we would have to physically/visibly remember the best day of our lives. We trusted Mat (photographer) and Nicole (cinematographer) with our special day and just WOW WOW WOW! The communication is effective and consistent. This provided comfort going into the wedding day with a game plan & timeline which was extremely helpful to ensure all of the specialty photos with our people were captured. They were wonderful to work with throughout the entire process but also on wedding day the team was awesome to all of our family, friends & guests. Mat was amazing. He met with us many times before the wedding to discuss details and what we wanted to have happen on the day of. He gave us a timeline for the wedding day and helped us stick to it. He communicated very clearly with us and was flexible considering we began the day VERY early. It was a lot of fun working with him and Nicole. We had two photographers and we were impressed by their ability to capture the day without getting in the way for our guests to see and experience the ceremony. We love them and would 100% recommend Focus Studios to everyone! Would not change a thing!
