We have had cakes here in the past so we already knew what we were gonna get and that it was going to be amazing! What the shocker really was, was the size of the cake! It was so big! But sooooo yummy! Thank you! They even helped when we were in a bind so thank you!

Flowers was absolutely incredible! I had a Christmas wedding this year and one of my favorite seasonal foods is orange cranberry muffins. Flowers made that into a cake flavor for me!!! Every single person I spoke to said it was the best wedding cake they've ever had. It was orange cake with cranberry whip cream filling which they used fresh cranberries! It is literally one of the best things I've ever eaten in my entire life. I also came in with a photo of what I wanted and they said no problem and it was PERFECT. My family has been going to this bakery since they opened justfor even a cup of coffee or grabbing an assorted box of treats because everything they bake is just perfection. When I told my parents I wanted to use flowers bakery for my wedding cake, I had no doubt in my mind it would be anything but the most delicious cake ever!!!

This cake was perfect! It was a 10! Light, not too sweet, moist with buttercream frosting that was so pure. I know that everything this bakery turns out is good as I have been customer for birthday cakes and other desserts. However, this cake blew me away! It was beautiful and delicious! Since my daughter was married abroad we had 2 previous cakes. This cake for the U.S. reception hands down was the best one!

If you don't want to spend more on a cake than on the wedding dress, visit Flowers Bakery. I found their prices reasonable and the selection of simple cake designs adequate. The cake itself was delicious in two alternating flavors. They were flexible to change the size of the cake needed just 5 days before the wedding.

The wedding cake was both beautiful and tasty.

We got both our wedding cake and our rehearsal dinner cake at Flowers and they were both beautiful and delicious. I would say the wedding cake was more beautiful and the rehearsal dinner cake was more delicious. The wedding cake was a strawberry peach custard and people commented that it was very good (since wedding cakes are usually not very tasty, we were very happy with that). The rehearsal dinner cake was a dark and white chocolate mousse and people loved it (I had initially wanted the mousse as our wedding cake but it wouldn't have been as easy to cut).

Service-wise, Flowers was great. We ordered our cake a month before the wedding and they were able to help us (it may have helped that the wedding was on a Sunday in December so I would recommend giving them more time than that). They delivered the cake to our venue on time and in perfect condition.

The cake was the most touted part of the wedding, and it was a great wedding. It looked great and tasted even better. The price was fabulous and they worked with us to create the exact look and flavor that we were after. I can't wait until the anniversary for the cake alone.

I've had a lot of cake in my lifetime, but seriously, our wedding cake was the BEST. I was looking for a bakery near us in Silver Spring, but many of them were either overpriced, or they were too busy to do a tasting for us. I found Flowers Bakery Cafe on Yelp, and I called just a few days before, and I asked for a tasting, and Eduardo (the owner) prepared several different types of cake for us to try. My then fiance (now husband) doesn't like lemon flavored desserts, but after tasting the lemon cake there, he suggested one of our tiers be lemon! I asked for a custom dulce de leche (caramel) / strawberry cake, and it was WONDERFUL. We also did a dessert assortment of different pastries and our guests LOVED them. Not only was it great, but the price quoted was completely affordable. If you want to get the contract in writing, it's best to go in person and get a copy because this shop doesn't really email that much. I also dropped off a specific handmade cherry blossom decoration and they did a wonderful job incorporating it onto the cake. I highly recommend them!!!

Our wedding cake was so delicious! However, it turned out looking a little different from the photos. The staff there was incredibly nice and it was a great value!!
