The church is absolutely beautiful and has a lot of interesting history behind it. Three months later, and I'm still having family and friends tell me how stunning the location was. The decoration too was wonderful and I was given a lot of options for set up and flowers. Rev Petty was extremely serious about the whole affair and he and Amy (the planner) I knew I could trust with my wedding. Everything went very smoothly and we all had a great time.

My husband's parents and grandparents were married in this church, so of course we had to be married in this gorgeous historic church in downtown Grand Rapids. The sanctuary has beautiful dark wood accents, Tiffany windows, and a fantastic organ. Rev. Petty did an amazing job and I could not have pictured a better ceremony. The only downfall to this church? Because of its historic Tiffany windows, they can't install air conditioning, so pray for a cool day in the summer. Rev. Petty keeps it short and sweet. They also have their own wedding coordinator, Amy, who makes sure everything runs smoothly and is very helpful. If you or your fiance(e) are not members of the church, however, the price goes up significantly, but I would say it is totally worth it if you want a beautiful, spiritual ceremony in a historic location.
