After taking my father to the Hospital and finding out he had Terminal Cancer and had a very short time of life left, it was devastating! But, on his dying bed the only thing he wished for was to remarry my mother before he passed on. I was panicked knowing that he could go at any time and I didn't know from moment by moment how long he was going to be alive! So I google searched Pastor's in our area to see if anyone could put on a Ceremony on a very short notice!
Many Pastor's turned me down for one reason or another, than I found Jonathan.
Through my search I came a crossed Pastor Jonathan Hall, I called and left him a message to see if he could help me out. Not only did he call me back in just a few minutes from leaving the voicemail, he agreed to perform the ceremony and squeeze us in his very busy schedule.
Things didn't go very smooth for us at the Ventura County Courthouse because they needed specific things in order to get the Marriage Certificate, not knowing that we were going to have to come back to the Courthouse when we met the first time it was on a Friday, we were so upset knowing that my dad could go at anytime without fulfilling his final wishes, we asked Jonathan if he would meet us again on Monday at the Courthouse to go through the process all over again. Jonathan agreed and met us there, he made two separate trips there for us. Not only that but, he was very understanding about the whole situation we were in. He married them on Tuesday, and we asked if he could make the Wedding as fast as possible because my father wasn't able to go thru an entire wedding service. Jonathan performed his ceremony from start to end in one minute and fourty-five seconds!! It was unbelievable, and absolutely perfect! Mom and dad were so pleased, he was so gracious and kind, and such a loving very young Minister! Needless to say my father lasted exactly one week from saying I do, and died a very happy man, under the circumstances! Thank you Pastor Jonathan!!!
