I'm Rev. Courtenay, and my staff and I specialize in crafting every single detail of your ceremony just as you have dreamed it to be. I truly believe that each wedding ceremony should be a personal and intimate representation of each couple’s love for one another.

My ceremonies can range from traditional to eclectic, so any request made will be received with full attention to your needs and wishes. My religious culture and belief system is interfaith and non-dogmatic. That means I honor the individual spiritual journey of every single person, regardless of their religious background. This allows me to help all couples with an open heart, full of joy for you on your most special day, including those currently not practicing in any organized faith or those still searching.

While I am based in Syracuse, New York, I most often serve Central and Western New York, Northern and Southern Tiers,
including Syracuse, Liverpool, Cicero, Clay, Fulton, Oswego, Watertown, Rome, Utica, Ithaca, Cortland, Binghamton,
Rochester, Corning, Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and more.

Services Offered
I take any and all requests with a completely open mind, whether it is customized vows, various types of unity ceremonies, or religious traditions. This can include spiritual unions, secular and agnostic weddings, single-religion and interfaith ceremonies, LGBT weddings, elopements, non-traditional families, and vow renewals. I also offer my services for rehearsals and pre-marital counseling, should you like it.

I am fluent in English, French, and Italian. In over a decade of ministering, I have officiated weddings for couples of various religious affiliations, including Anglican, Baptist, Buddhist, Catholic, earth-based, Episcopalian, Evangelical, Jewish, Lutheran, Methodist, pagan, Presbyterian, Quaker, Taoist, Unitarian, and non-denominational Christian, as well as those that are more spiritual, or non-religious.
