Kathy and the entirety of the Glenora staff made our special day perfect. Not only did we have a bit of a unique wedding, but we also had to call an audible the day-of due to inclement weather. Kathy and the staff were so amazing and flexible, and they worked tirelessly to make sure that our wedding still went off without a hitch. The venue itself is breathtaking and almost looks surreal. The views will make for some of the best pictures we could ask for. The food was outstanding and drew compliments from all of our guests. All of the rooms were clean and cozy, and the cottage we stayed in was the perfect place to prepare for our big day. I cannot stress enough how amazing the staff, venue, and food was and I would recommend Glenora to anyone to make their wedding day truly special!

Right from the planning stages Kathy at Glenora was professional, kind, knowledgable and gracious. She never blinked when asked so many questions. She always looked great and responded quickly! She takes care of so much~ we were so appreciative of her expertise. You will not go wrong celebrating such a special day at Glenora!

"This is the best wedding I have ever been to!" My husband and I heard this from nearly every guest throughout our reception on our perfect day, September 10th. When we spent a few days touring venues back in 2020, Glenora was our final stop. The insanely gorgeous view of Seneca Lake was the reprieve we needed from that crazy year. We knew instantly that this was our place. Courtney was our right-hand woman from day one. She was warm and attentive throughout our planning process. We met Kathy later on in planning, but she was just as kind and communicative, especially at our wedding rehearsal. The staff at Glenora made our day so easy. They set up our decor beautifully; ensured we had tastes of every appetizer and dessert; and boxed up everything for us to transport to our cars after our incredible wedding was over. They even let our party utilize fire pits after our reception to continue the fun! Every single person left our wedding feeling the love and enchantment. This is the best place to commemorate your forever with your best friend!

During our wedding venue search, Glenora was the very first place we visited...and wow, did they set the bar high! From the beautiful views, to the fantastic food, to the true gem of the place - coordinator James Merritt! - we knew that Glenora could not be beat and we're so happy we chose it for our wedding. Pre-pandemic, the planning process could not have been easier. And even during the pandemic, with what seemed like weekly pivoting of plans, James stayed unbelievably flexible and kept everything on track. I can't emphasise how much James' calmness meant to us during those challenging months. He is truly a master of his craft and I would recommend booking at Glenora simply to have the opportunity to work with him (the views are a bonus)!
 
In the end, we could not have been any happier with how our wedding weekend turned out. We had a blast from the very moment we stepped foot on the property - and for that, we say a major THANK YOU to James and the team. The entire weekend was a wonderful experience for our family, and one that we'll cherish forever. We can't wait to plan an anniversary trip back to visit. :)

We loved everything about having our wedding with at Glenora! The set up at Glenora is beautiful and we loved having the dance floor outside so people could hang out on the deck without being separated from the dance floor. It was also cool to have people flow from inside to outside and down onto grass for some cornhole. Everyone thought the food was delicious- definitely no typical boring wedding food here! The sparkler send off leading to the firepit after party was the perfect way to end the night and it was so nice to stay on site so we didn't have to worry about going anywhere.
The view is beyond gorgeous, the wine is obviously amazing and the food was delicious! Even if there wasn't all that, it is worth having your wedding here because James simply is THE BEST! Throughout our wedding planning process, James was there to answer any of our questions and offer any advice / recommendation. He kept saying that's how its supposed to be when I would say “that was easy.” As soon as we dropped off stuff there on our wedding weekend, James and his team took it from there so we literally didn't have to worry about anything. We had so many people comment on how he was everywhere making sure everything was going seamless. We really can't say enough about how much we love everything about Glenora! If you are getting married, get married at Glenora! you will not regret it!! We can't imagine our wedding being as perfect if we got married anywhere else!

This was the most PERFECT venue for our wedding. We could gush about them ALL day!! Kathy and James (the event coordinators) were simply wonderful and made our planning experience seamless and stress-free. We would give them a million star rating if we could!! I can't say enough about how much we loved Glenora! The venue is beautiful, the view is stunning, and the food is exceptional. Kathy and James, the event managers, are amazing and made everything flow seamlessly from the beginning of the planning process through to the big day. They truly thought of every detail to make our wedding perfect! Once things got started, we were able to relax and enjoy ourselves because everything was taken care of. They also have a large patio where we had our dance floor - we loved the outdoor dancing! Our guests all commented on the beautiful venue and delicious food -- the filet mignon and the seared scallops were 2 favorites. Everyone also enjoyed staying at the Inn, and the out of town guests loved exploring the surrounding Finger Lakes region. We would highly recommend Glenora as a wedding venue!

The first thing that struck me about Glenora is the unbelievable view. The grounds are simply beautiful; from the inn you have a 360 degree view of vines and the lake that is at the bottom of the soft hill the vineyard is planted on. This alone would have convinced us to get married there!



However, what makes this place truly first class is that it just continues to deliver. The food is amazing and creative, and the wine is delicious. The most important part for us was that our guests could stay on the premises. We had guests fly in the West Coast, the South, England and Poland, and many drive in from around the Northeast. Because everyone was in one place and got to spend time together, by the end of the weekend we had a room full of a 100 (hungover) new friends!

The most special thing about Glenora is our dear Kathy, the event manager. We planned our wedding from abroad and we really could not have done it without her. She was responsive, reliable, organised, and proactive. Kathy never said no to us once; whatever we wanted to make our day personal and special she made happen! And on the day, Kathy got everything set up and organised, ran the whole day and stayed right up until the end to make sure that every detail was absolutely perfect. She is also a kind and wonderful person to be around, which makes such a difference in the whirlwind that is wedding planning!

I may be incredibly biased as the bride, but I think we had the wedding ever! But shouldn't every bride feel that way?

I could not have picked a better venue for our weddinng! It was absolutely gorgeous, the food was wonderful, the wedding planners were a HUGE help and so flexible, caring, and sweet!
