Venue was beautiful and staff were amazing!

Is there a 6th star? Emily was everything and more that we needed and wanted in our venue and wedding planner. She was awesome to work with, and helped pick up all the pieces to the day and leading up to it. This is the perfect place to have a ceremony and reception, especially if you are from out of town. The whole staff was great to work with, accommodating and very professional. They made great recommendations of other vendors and because of their professionalism, everything ran smoothly. We had PERFECT weather the day of the wedding, the view of the lake is spectacular and all of our guests were thrilled with the event. I can't say enough good things about Ericka and Castel Grisch.

Our wedding was 5/27/2017.
Ericka is the NEW events coordinator, she is amazing! She catered to our needs and helped us ensure everything for our Disney themed wedding was everything we hoped for. She took all our decorations and the photos we had for them and made them look even more gorgeous than I could have asked. There were Disney quotes in every room, a beautiful s'mores and hot drinks bar in the tasting room, and the spot for our gifts and food was beautiful! Connor is the bartender and he is phenomenal as well. He couldn't praise Erica's work enough and ensured we had everything we needed for the weekend at the house we were staying at.

My wedding was in August of 2011. IF you want a vineyard wedding in the New York area, this is the best place by far. Not only is it an absolute steal, given there minimal venue cost, but unlike most vineyards in the area, their full service restaurant means you don't need to rent a dance floor, tables, chairs, wine glasses, etc. The kitchen staff they have is amazing. The guests could not get over how good their food was, including the vegans at our wedding, and everyone was overwhelmed by how much was on the plate.

This vineyard is family run and operated, and as a result, that really take the time to get to know you, and work very hard at creating a space that meets your vision. The coordinator who worked with me was Theresa Butler, daughter of the owner, and not only was she friendly, she was great at her job. In addition to being very organized and thoughtful about our ceremony/reception, she anticipated problems, and presented a host of solutions to us on the day of the wedding in a calm, covert, and professional manner.

I cannot believe how wonderful this place was, they could charge much more the quality of service I received!

While I was at the ceremony/reception I was unaware of any drama happening. Afterwards, however, I learned that there were many issues of workers being rude, making our guests feel like they were in their way, etc. The food was amazing and the cost was great.

We booked Castel Grisch for our wedding well in advance of our October 2023 wedding date. They made an error on their end and booked us on one of their other event days and canceled on us with only 6 months till our wedding day. We got our deposit back, however we had to go through the process of finding a new venue with little to no help from them. They also promised us wine to help make amends but whenever we tried to contact them I got crickets. We also had to get a new caterer due to this and we’re not able to get our deposit back from them. Maybe they have better management now but I will never be going back here and do not recommend.
