Based in Oneonta, NY and traveling around New England, Charming Ceremonies is a wedding officiant organization founded by Owen Conklin. Owen has been helping couples celebrate their wedding for many years. He performs the traditional duties of an officiant and also offers services to write vows and help with other ceremonial details. They also feature Jocelyn Reynolds, and officiant and educator of many years.

Owen began his officiant career after some friends asked him to preside over their ceremony. Following that event, more friends requested his talents, starting the ball rolling on his business. After looking into the industry, he saw a pattern of expensive officiants and desired to break the cycle. Instead, he opted to offer services to couples at reasonable rates, allowing them to enjoy their day no matter what their budget is. After 10 years and hundreds of weddings , he is well-equipped to do the job and is pleased to assist couples finding what they want.

Jocelyn's path as an educator weaved it's way toward officiating in past 5 years. She found joy in assisting couples find meaning from their ceremonies and connecting with them on a personal level. She joined Charming Ceremonies in 2024 to provide her expertise to couples across central New York.

Couples working with Owen and Jocelyn will have the opportunity to work towards a celebration plan in conjunction with ceremony activities. Schedules and vows can both be workshopped, and advice may be provided if requested. They ensure that each couple receives friendly, pleasant experiences from the first interaction to the last, and they are pleased to make couples top priority the whole way through. Their philosophy is "it’s the couple’s ceremony, so they should celebrate it how they want to without having to break the bank".
