Finch Events is a wedding planning company based in Nashville, Tennessee. Owner, MarLea Finch, specializes in day-of coordination but is happy to organize any type of event you need. She first got started in the wedding industry when she gifted coordination services to a friend. A year later, one of the bridesmaids from that wedding asked her to plan her nuptials, and the rest is history. Serving Middle Tennessee, MarLea is willing to travel in order to bring your dreams to life.

Services Offered

For your celebration, Finch Events offers day-of and reception-only coordination. Both of these come with a one-hour consultation, decorating, unlimited time on-site during the day, liaising with vendors, boxing up personal items, and much more. Amazing!!!

I hired MarLea for my 10/25/25 wedding, and she was one of the BEST “vendor” decisions I made. She was always more than happy to answer any questions that I had and was so knowledgeable. The day of my wedding, she was there bright and early to help set up and facilitate everything. I accidentally ordered the wrong size tablecloths and she had the issue solved before I even knew anything about it. Our wedding was incredibly smooth and all our guests had a fantastic time and a lot of that is due to MarLea! After the wedding, multiple family members and bridesmaids told me how impressed they were by her and how helpful she was throughout the day. I could not recommend hiring MarLea more! Best decision ever!

Cannot recommend enough

MarLea was absolutely incredible. She was super responsive in the lead up to the wedding and then at the rehearsal and the wedding she helped the day run so smoothly. She handled all the vendors, finished decor setup, wrangled all the family members, and even was able to transport my four foot long cake up a huge hill. Literally could not have had the wedding without her cannot recommend enough worth every penny!!!

Coordinator review

MarLea went to every length to take care of us and organize things so we didn’t have to worry about anything. She spoke with our photographer, DJ and caterer, and everyone’s mothers in advance and made it so that if anyone had questions, they went to MarLea and didn’t bother us. She takes as much of the stress away from your day as possible and is so worth having around. We could not recommend MarLea enough!!

A Stress-Free Day!

MarLea was fantastic. She made sure we felt comfortable and prepared months before our big day throughout the end. Great communication, wrangled my guests with ease, handled the tips, and owned every part of the timeline including clean up which was SO helpful. We'd highly recommend her to anyone getting married who wants a stress-free experience!

Highly recommend!

We are so grateful to have had Finch Events as our wedding coordinator! From start to finish, they were incredibly organized, calm under pressure, and always one step ahead. Anytime an issue came up, whether it was a last-minute vendor change or a timeline adjustment, she handled it quickly and efficiently without adding any stress to our day. We were able to fully enjoy our wedding day knowing MarLea had everything under control.

MarLea is awesome!

MarLea was beyond superb as a day-of coordinator! The preparations she made during our final walkthrough about a month before our wedding were handled with detailed notes and considerations. She was very well-organized during our rehearsal and had everyone set out exactly as they needed to be with clear expectations and directions.

She did an amazing job on the day of the wedding, doing everything she could to make the day special for us. At the end of the night, she even took a jump drive that was accidentally left at the venue and drove it all the way back to the bride's parents' house and returned it! She didn't need to do that, but she did anyways to help us!

A+++ and 5 stars all the way!

Truly Amazing!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about MarLea! She went above and beyond every expectation I had for a day-of coordinator. Not only did she ensure every detail went smoothly, but she also completely redid all of my wedding flowers, making them more beautiful than I could have ever imagined as my florist did not create what I envisioned. Her creativity, attention to detail, and calm, supportive presence made our wedding day truly perfect. From handling last-minute changes to keeping everything on schedule, dealing with rude individuals at my venue she truly made sure I could relax and enjoy each moment. I’m so grateful for her dedication and for the unforgettable memories she helped create. Highly recommend her to any bride looking for someone they can truly trust with their big day!

Love marlea!

Wow, our wedding day would have not been so smooth and perfect without MarLea. I wanted to hire a day-of coordinator so my mom and I could relax and enjoy the day and MarLea was the perfect choice. I did not have to make a single decision or fix a single problem all day. She made our space look beautiful, and was professional and joyful while doing it! She even chased down a loud go cart and dog during the ceremony for us! Absolutely recommend MarLea!!!

Marlea was amazing!

MarLea was AMAZING! We hired her for Day of Coordination and she met with us at the rehearsal to get a grasp of the timeline and set up. After that, she was on top of everything! I never had to worry about if something was getting done, or where I had to be. I said multiple times throughout the day, "MarLea's probably got it" and indeed she did! Even things that we didnt think to plan, MarLea used her expertise to make wonderful decisions that fit our wedding so well! She also worked so well with our family members and friends who were there to help! We loved working with her for even just a couple of days, so I can't imagine how great she would be for full planning! We love you MarLea!
