What is the story behind Films by Roy?

FilmsbyRoy is a Dallas-Fort Worth wedding photography and film studio led by Roy, a cinematographer with more than 12 years and 500 productions behind the camera. We serve couples across Dallas, Fort Worth, Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Southlake and the surrounding area.

Weddings are documented with an editorial eye and a faith-rooted heart. You can book photography, film or both from one team, so your images and your film tell the same story. The approach is calm and unobtrusive. Moments unfold naturally and are captured with care, from getting ready to the last dance.

Every film is cinematic and story driven, with multi-camera coverage and FAA-licensed drone aerials available. Depending on your collection, you receive a highlight film, a full feature film and a private online gallery.

Each couple's story, values and covenant are part of the plan, so the final work reflects more than a celebration. It reflects a sacred beginning.

Excellent experience.

Roy was professional, creative and flexible. He was right on time for our wedding shoot, stayed through out the whole event capturing the moments to bring our dream into fruition. DVD copy came out with great picture and audio quality. I had a two day wedding event with this vemdor. I will recommend this company to anyone!

At first we weren't going to do videography but about a month before we decided that we did. We reviewed lots of different people but as soon as I saw films by roy I knew right away u just had to have them do our wedding video. They are so much fun to work with! It was never a dull moment with them. We are glad we were able to book them. Because honestly we wouldn't have been as satisfied with anyone else as we were with them.

Prior to choosing a vendor for our wedding, we had such a huge expectation and were extremely picky about everything. We wanted perfect wedding pictures/videos. Anyways, by word of mouth, we decided to hire the Films By Roy team for our Big Day. Goodness! These guys exceeded our best expectations put together. We were completely blown away. They poured their heart and soul into the service. They captured every detail, every beautiful moment. The video was so beautiful. The pictures were purely class, style. They created such an atmosphere that gave us the reason to wanting to know them beyond our big day. We love your service and are so proud of you. You can't get a better service anywhere else. I had a strict budget to work with after realizing that I wanted to include a wedding video. Roy and Sharon were very understanding, and worked with me to create the vision that I had for our video. There were soooo many things that went wrong on my wedding day, and my husband and I were just really hurt by all that went on that day. Thankfully the videography is not on that list of things that went wrong or I probably would have lost it! Looking back at the video now, all of the things that went wrong do not matter. Roy and his team did an outstanding job of capturing our day, and were able to capture all of the elements that I requested with the time they had to work with. I highly recommend them, as they were on time, thoughtful, professional, and prompt in terms of communication.

Roy and Sharon know how to capture a special day. We went to them with a specific budget for filming our wedding and they worked with us to get the most bang for our buck. Not only were they kind and great at communicating, they turned our highlight video around very quickly and it was AMAZING!!! They captured all the important sound bytes including some of our vows, all the special moments and compiled the video to the perfect song. This team is pure, authentic talent. Hire them without hesitation!

Roy and his wife Sharon are such a nice, professional duo. They really love capturing your Special Day. They are very receptive to ideas you have about portrait locations, but have ideas in case you don't have any idea what locations are good (like me). The pictures they took were great quality and they captured special moments outside of the ceremony. They produced great video and pictures of the wedding and were done editing in a few weeks. Very quick turnaround. Our package also included a lovely canvas portrait that was excellent quality. They were always easy to reach and very flexible with shoot times. My husband and I would definitely hire them again for a second ceremony if we could! We really enjoyed working with them and getting to know them!

Films by Roy really did an excellent job at catching every beautiful moment of my wedding. They were easy to work with and very professional. My wedding video is absolutely amazing and I cry every time I see it. I'm so glad I booked Films by Roy as my videographer for my special day!

It would be impossible for our video to have turned out better. The beat investment we made in our wedding! The highlight video was beyond our wildest dreams. From the thousands of people who viewed it in the first few hours of posting to our future grandchildren, this timeless commeration is something we are so privileged to be able share something that truly looks like a movie. The aerial photography looks like we hired helicopters, the details are stunning and even the music accented our story better than we could have. Overall, you really just have to work with Films by Roy to understand their greatness- we are so so so pleased.

Films by Roy is AMAZING! They were such a joy to work with and did a great job working with/around my photographer and guests. I was kind of picky about what I wanted, and they catered to all my suggestions and requests. They did such a beautiful job and really captured the true essence of our wedding and love story. They are very professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend them!
