In a lifetime, you come across a magical milestone that is MARRIAGE. As a bride, you dream it, you envision it and you plan it alongside the love of your life. As you embark on it, you realize that planning takes an entire village and an entire dream. I would never forget the day when we decided to pick Janina and surrender our dream wedding onto her hands. Janina and her team did not only plan and coordinate our wedding - but they lived it, embraced the magic in it, and turned every bit of that vision into reality. The path to the wedding day has become a journey we will deeply miss and vividly remember as Janina made it into an exceptionally unforgettable experience. Simply put, it was the BEST DAY of our lives. Janina is a top-tier level wedding coordinator to say the least – and her passion to her craft is a testament to it all. I could not articulate enough how she was on top of every detail, but the thing that was unexpectedly refreshing was how she gives you her heart and soul in every vision you have in mind. That genuine approach of how she wants everything to be perfect is something you can’t put a price tag on. We have never felt so lucky to have been able to pick 1 out of a million to plan our wedding. In the midst of the chaos that is wedding planning, God took a nod and gave us the BEST that the universe has to offer to pave way to making our wedding vision come to life. And indeed, it has unfolded into the perfect wedding story. I mean - it happens only once in a lifetime and settling for anything less was never our option. To this day, we still have chills and butterflies and confetti in our hearts as we reminisce our wedding day. I would like to think that fate brought her into our lives. Her ingenuity also radiated to the rest of her team (Sasa and Ban) who were right there every second to attend to any need imaginable. Me and my husband have never felt so taken care of. Moreover, her calming presence and unparalleled words of reassurance surely eased out any anxiety we had as we head into the last few days of the wedding. She speaks of her own personal and professional experience and when someone texts you first thing in the morning of your wedding day saying "Good morning to the most of beautiful bride, this happens only once so enjoy every moment of it as I have everything under control and your job is to just smile for the rest of your day and take everything in” - I know then that she has given us our happily ever after right that second.

I highly recommend Janina and her team! She was recommended by a friend and we quickly realized why. From the start, Janina was ready to dive in to planning. She's detail-oriented, professional, flexible and most importantly, very kind and outgoing. She uses technology to her advantage, creating a Google Drive and communicating through WhatsApp. Because of this, we were able to check-in to where everything stood with vendors without necessarily checking in with Janina.

We were then affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We ultimately performed our Civil Ceremony this year, and will have our Church Wedding and Reception in 2021.

It was during this time that Janina and her team shined. This presented many different logistical challenges: updating contracts, transitioning to our parents' backyard, smaller guest list for the ceremony/reception, having a drive-by meet and greet with extended family, ensuring everyone's safety, etc.

Not only did Janina and team rise to the challenge, they knocked it out of the park. In the last minute, we were able to hire Janina's photobooth services! Everyone that attended our outdoor wedding complimented how beautifully everything turned out, and how much fun they had (especially the photobooth)!

We are really happy with Janina and her team's execution, and are excited to be working with them again for our church wedding and reception in 2021!

Absolutely the best! Janina and her team put us up above and beyond. They took care of everything for us. She gave us to-do lists and reminders prior to the day of and even though we still forgot some details on our wedding day, they still worked it out and created a beautiful wedding! I, the bride, had a last minute change during the reception and they still pulled it off. The vision of the decorations were executed more than what I have expected as well. From the beginning of the day and from time to time they will check on you and ask you how you are feeling, if you need to go on a break/touch up, or if you need a drink, they literally take care of you!

We really didn’t feel overwhelmed at all. They were amazing! Planning with Janina and her team made it so much easier. We enjoyed our wedding day and we are very thankful for them. Highly recommended!

Simply put, hiring Janina and her team was the most important and BEST decision we made for our wedding. On your wedding day there are so many moving parts, so much happening, and unexpected things both big and small are bound to come up. Janina and her team handle everything with exceptional professionalism and care. They will go out of their way to make sure you do not have to think about anything other than enjoying your wedding day. Janina would do monthly check ins with us and as it gets closer to our day, it would be more frequent making sure that everything is ready and that our vendors are all aligned. Her and her team think about every little detail and cross-check things that you never even think of. While I was getting my make up done, Janina's team double checked every item we needed and when one of the team opened my wedding shoe box, they noticed I was given two left shoes! Without a moment's hesitation, the team ran to Neiman's and swapped out one for a right shoe just in time for our scheduled photos.

During cocktail hour they prepared a plate of our hors d'oeuvres and a drink for us in the bridal suite so we could have a moment to ourselves. The team checked in with us from time to time making sure we are good and if we needed anything. They took care of timelines, assembling groups for various photos, vendor coordination, and more to make the day as stress-free as possible.

To top it off, they are genuinely wonderful people. They care and are attentive throughout the entire day. They even stopped by our hotel the next day to say goodbye. I'm not sure if we've ever met such wonderful people who are so great at what they do in the entire hospitality industry!

It can be overwhelming to choose from so many vendors for various things. This is a no brainer. Janina and her team are truly the best and we gained genuine friends after the wedding! I'd recommend them over and over again!

After our engagement, it just occured to me that we don’t really have a dream wedding. All we wanted was to be united and to celebrate this blessed union with the people we love. With less than 3 months of planning, we feared that there wouldn’t be enough time, but FetebyJanina proved us wrong.

Janina embraced everything in stride, with a smile on her face, words of positivity, and excitement. Her optimism radiated through us and everything felt as if they were falling into place.

The way she planned and coordinated our wedding was like painting. She took both our colors and carefully brushed each one until our blank canvas became a work of art.

(This is a long-overdue, one-year late of a review but here goes).
I was hesitant to hire a wedding coordinator outside of Chicago for my October 2018 wedding, but my older sister, who has seen Janina work on a wedding a year before mine, highly recommended her. After a few discussions, my husband and I took a chance with hiring a "long distance" day-of coordinator.

It was the one of the best decisions we made!
Janina exceeded our expectations!

About 1.5 months before the wedding day, apart from emails, our main communication were thru phone calls, that had become weekly. Those calls were very helpful, and as my husband and I would jokingly tell Janina then, were very therapeutic. She is one of the sweetest and warmest people we know. She has thought of every single detail possible; details that my husband and I were sure was why we needed a coordinator, because we were kind of clueless. (There will be details you might want/need for your wedding that most of those wedding planner books do not include, so ask you wedding planner/coordinator!)

On the day of our wedding, her team was exceptional! Janina and her team of 2 thought of the things that we forgot to do or did not factor in on the day of, and quietly worked on them without adding stress to my husband and I. All day and night, they kept big smiles on their faces, they were laughing with us and giving us (maybe just Me) reassurances on the few times they caught me looking worried or stressed or anxious. My husband and I don’t really know what it is but, we instantly felt like they were our friends. We only met the 3 of them the day before our wedding! Some of our family and friends still speak highly about them too! They were very professional, trustworthy and very organized but still exude optimism, warmth and comfort that I felt relaxed in their presence (as a Bride, that was super important!). I highly, highly recommend Fete by Janina to any Bride-to-be as their planner and/or coordinator. Not only did they help make the first day of our marriage perfect and beautifully memorable, but we gained a friend in her, Warren and Mares! Kevin and I are forever thankful! You guys have etched your places in our hearts!

If I could give Janina and her team 1 million stars...I would. From the very beginning when my now husband and I had our consultation with her, she made us feel so comfortable, like a friend we'd known forever.

We always had prompt responses from Janina along the way, whether through text or email! She answered our hundreds of questions and eased our worried minds, and even encouraged us to vent to her if we needed to! SHE IS THE BEST. The processes was 1000x more organized and less stressful with her guidance.

As for the wedding day, Janina and her team simply blew me away and exceeded our expectations. I knew that Janina, Sasa, and Bianca were there to help but I truly did not realize just how much they would be doing the day of. The level of organization was incredible. They allowed my family to really be present and enjoy the festivities as they handled the timeline for the entire day, including setting up our reception decor and taking them down at the end of the night.

Story time! Sasa rode with my family and I in the limo to the church, I began to get nauseous from the nerves and Sasa reaches in her backpack and hands me plastic bag lined with tissue AND anti nausea medication!!! LIKE WHAT?! Wait it gets better... as I'm about to drink from a water bottle, she hands me a straw so I don't ruin my lipgloss!!!

These ladies CARE. Kind is an understatement. They are compassionate and really want to make this day so special for you. You can feel the love and passion for what they do. We could not have asked for a better team to have by our side on our wedding day. I recommend Fete by Janina and her team to everyone I know getting married or anyone who needs an event planner! They are truly professionals with the biggest hearts.

One of the BEST decisions I made for my wedding was hire Fete by Janina. Because of this, I was able to REALLY ENJOY my wedding day. I did not feel one bit of stress the entire day. Janina was very HANDS ON. She will set up meetings every month (more frequent when it comes closer to the day), would email me a recap of our meetings and would text me any reminders that I need to complete for the month. What touched me the most was when she even texted me the morning of of my wedding day telling me to relax and just enjoy the day and how she got everything taken care of - and that's exactly what she did. Her assistant was with me the entire day offering me drinks, food, etc. Janina was on top of everything (which the guests noticed too as she stood at the corner of our reception place while she was making sure everything was in order!) I'm really amazed with her team!!!! Job well done!! Highly recommended!

Janina and her are team were amazing and I highly would recommend her for all wedding planning and day of coordination! My husband and I were getting overwhelmed with all the planning leading up to the wedding, so we ended deciding we needed some help. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without Janina coming in and helping us out! Janina was on top of everything leading up the wedding. She made sure we stayed on top of all the things that needed to get done and she was very organized and experienced with the whole process! We were still missing a hair/makeup artist and florist at the time, and she had the recommendations all ready to go and contacted them immediately. The communication and organization was everything we needed and more to help plan our special day!

There was also absolutely nothing for me to worry about during the day itself because of Janina and her team handling it all! Her team was just as a passionate and organized as she was! The whole team made us feel taken care of and it was like they were on a mission to make sure we had nothing worry about! Our bridal party and parents also had so many compliments with how great they were and they knew exactly where they had to be and when!
