We couldn’t speak more highly of Kari! When my husband and I started planning our wedding, we knew we wanted something that was untraditional. We wanted to work with someone who could be responsive and help us build out a truly unique wedding experience. Kari immediately understood our vision and made our big day the wedding of our dreams. Kari is highly proactive and detail oriented, offering thoughtful suggestions throughout the planning process stemming from her experience. She has a network of trusted vendors who delivered above and beyond. Kari’s support allowed us to be fully present at our wedding — we didn’t have to worry about a thing.

We absolutely loved working with Kari. She just got the vision immediately, from our first call, and suggested us the venue we eventually booked before we even started working with her officially. Kari is so knowledgable and experienced and was really able to help make the whole experience so fun and smooth. The wedding weekend went even better than we could have imagined and all the guests were so complimentary. It was amazing to get to sit back and enjoy the weekend because I 100% trusted that Kari and her team got it under control.

One of the first pieces of advice we received when planning our June 2022 wedding was to hire a coordinator. We wanted to find someone who was calm, poised, experienced, and thoughtful. We found all of those qualities in Kari with Feathered Arrow Events!

Kari was already on our list of event planners to contact, and she was also recommended by our photographer, Brett Loie (who is also wonderful). We were attracted to FA’s embrace of color and fun on their website, as well as her experience with many of the venues and vendors we were interested in. We were convinced when, on the phone in Fall 2019, Kari exuded calm and flexibility that we knew would keep us grounded on the wedding day.

Kari flexibly created a package that included basic coordination and table & seating chart design. She gave us some wonderful visual inspiration that led us to a combination of luxury and budget items that flowed together seamlessly. Kari was always available to bounce ideas off of, and was also kindly honest when I threw a couple bad ones her way. She handled vendor communication with ease and we felt incredibly comfortable handing the entirety off to her as we approached the event.

On the day of the wedding, we were barely in contact with Kari - a very good thing. She confirmed the day-of timeline with us and our vendors in advance, and made sure we knew where to be when. We were able to enjoy the morning and early afternoon with the guarantee that she would make sure all the moving parts fell into place. There were a couple issues that she handled easily, and I can only imagine how many little things came up that I don’t know about.

All this is to say that we highly recommend reaching out to Kari & FA if you’re looking for a planner or coordinator that will share the excitement with you while also keeping a steady hand on the event!

Throughout the planning process, Kari gently steered us in the right direction, ensuring we were making decisions in a timely manner, and providing considerations that we might not have thought of, that would impact the big day!

She and her team are the ultimate professionals. Our venue became a huge challenge to work with, and they did everything in their power to get across the finish line with the least amount of frustration.

Even last minute changes (i.e. - adding a salad plate to our rentals!) Kari handled them with ease. I really can't say enough about this team. I am a bit of a control freak, and the feeling of total comfort, calm, and TRUST on the day of your wedding? Absolutely priceless. Kari literally saved my dream wedding...

I can't believe that I already haven't written a review for Kari and her team at Feathered Arrow. I'm so embarrassed.There's a big story behind this one, so here it goes. Kari was always my favorite part of the wedding planning process. From our first coffee meet to all the emails and walkthroughs afterwards; we clicked. She is not only a talented and professional event coordinator, but more importantly, a support system. A confidant and friend. She handled literally everything, and I mean everything: contracts, emails, pricing lanterns, sourcing escort boards, putting me in touch with the right people, picking up linens, etc. Not to mention, dealing with my thousands of emails. For the entire 10 months that I was engaged and planning my wedding, it was honestly a total breeze thanks to Kari and Feathered Arrow.

Here's where I really knew Kari was THE ONE...

My husband Ryan and I were married on November 17, 2018 and the weekend before our wedding we were forced to find a new location due to the Malibu fires. So sorry for the all caps here but any bride-to-be has to realize that MY WEDDING WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED IF IT WERE NOT FOR FEATHERED ARROW. I'm being 100% serious. Kari literally moved my entire vision from our original venue to our new location at the wonderful Maravilla Gardens in just 3 days. The day was literally so perfect because of her and her staff. Guests still sing of her praises. After the ceremony and throughout the evening, everyone could not stop complimenting her hard work. My whole family even follows Kari on Instagram because we are THAT indebted to her. I have tears in my eyes writing this because what Kari offered was more than just a service-- it was moments and memories of a day I will never forget. Not a single detail was sacrificed during the relocation. She worked tirelessly to update all my contracts with our vendors and made sure that there was no stress on me what so ever. The big day went without a hitch and to be honest, it was better than Ryan and I (guests and families included) could've ever imagined. It was so perfect and. I knew from the moment Kari and I met that we were in good hands.

We had already loved Kari so much before all this happened, but now, I can't imagine my wedding day without her. Even better, we are still connected and stay in touch. She is the most loyal, thoughtful and dedicated human being. Hiring Feathered Arrow is the best decision I ever made-- beyond any dream venue or dream vendor. When brides ask me for my one piece advice about wedding planning? Hire Kari. You want Feathered Arrow on your team.

Kari is not only a kind and calming presence, but is very clearly good at her job. Early on when working with other vendors, someone told us "there are wedding planners, and then there is Kari. She is in a different class and you are in good hands." And that very much turned out to be true. Wedding planning can be a stressful time but Kari is level headed, organized and pays close attention to details. I looked forward to meetings with Kari because she made things that I didn't care about (napkin colors! aisle decor! signature drinks!) fun and turned into things I was so happy that we thought about because they made our wedding unique and personal. Everyone still tells us that it was one of the most fun, well planned weddings they had been to. Of course, I am sure that things didn't go perfectly on the day of, but she worked quickly behind the scenes to make sure that my guests and I never saw a single hitch. From any type of personality- Kari will adapt and fill in your gaps. I actually did recommend her to a friend who is currently working with, and loving working with Kari. For any type of bride, for any type of wedding, for whatever theme- Kari is absolutely your girl.

I was originally referred to Kari through a colleague of mine, so I already knew I would love working with her. I was impressed right off the bat - while I am not the kind of person who has been envisioning her wedding since birth, I did want the day to look pretty, feel thoughtful, and run smoothly, and Kari understood what I was getting at right away. Her no-nonsense, process-driven approach to wedding planning spoke to my inner project manager - she provided us with checklists, Google Drive folders, and a working timeline as soon as we first met. Her hard work and incredible organization kept everything running as it should, and she kept me in the loop on every conversation she had with our vendors. In addition, her list of suggested vendors was super helpful, and she thought of literally everything (we definitely would have forgotten to think about the chairs for the hora, for example!)

In the weeks leading up to the wedding I was telling everyone I could that hiring her was the best decision we made in the entire process. The day of our wedding, she handled everything with NOT A SINGLE PROBLEM OR CONCERN coming my or my husband's way (and I'm sure at least SOMETHING went wrong that she had to handle on the fly!) and she even held onto our cake knife for us so that we could get it back later. Kari is a true gem and any engaged couple would be lucky to have her coordinate their wedding!

Having Kari by our side throughout our entire engagement and planning process was definitely the greatest blessing of our wedding experience as a whole.

From the very moment we came across her website and IG, we found that the warmth, professionalism, and drive that she exhibited with her words to be completely unique from any other planner/coordinator we had previously looked into.
She is just as composed, caring, intentional, and motivated in person, and we finally became EXCITED to begin the hefty planning process as we finally felt that we had found our support!

We came into the planning process with big dreams of what our wedding day could be, and she helped steer us in the write direction while never stifling our creativity or excitement. Together, we created the most beautiful, intentional, thoughtful day. Every single piece of the day was beautifully orchestrated thanks to her. We were extremely impressed with her preparedness, organization, and relaxed demeanor in the midst of so much responsibility and coordination.

She aided in enabling our wedding day to be the best day of our lives as a duo, and she managed it all with grace, kindness, humor, comfort, and selflessness.
She eliminated any possibility of stress and replaced every moment with joy, excitement, and support -- fully allowing my husband and I to be present in every minute of our wedding and rehearsal dinner celebration.

We will never forget the care and support she showed us during this special time in our lives as long as we live, and we are eternally grateful for every phone call, text, email, mood board, meeting, and brainstorm she so graciously gave to us. We will forever sing your praises and thank you for all that you do.

Kari was the very best, she helped make my wedding day absolutely perfect. She is incredibly easy to work with and flexible, whatever you want she’ll make happe. My favorite thing about Kari is that she is very calm and reassuring, we had zero hiccups on our wedding day because of the role she played in coordinating/ planning our wedding!

Kari helped coordinate my very international Cali wedding whilst I lived in the UK/Ireland. Not only was Kari my trusted eyes and ears, she was so considerate about the details and always respected things like our budget.
