Experience
Father Michael was ordained as a Roman Catholic priest in 1980 and has continued to work in the vocation of the Catholic priesthood for more than 40 years. For over 25 years now he is part of the Old Catholic Church tradition which is independent from the authority of the Roman Catholic hierarchy. Old Catholic sacraments are recognized as valid by the Roman Church.
Services Offered
Father Michael mostly officiates Catholic weddings, but he also solemnizes a variety of civil and interfaith ceremonies. He often co-officiates with his friend Cantor David Katz as well as with other Cantors and Rabbis for Jewish and Catholic interfaith ceremonies. Able to speak English and Spanish fluently, Father Michael also knows enough French to lead all or part of a ceremony in the language. In addition to his officiant services, this priest offers an optional marital enrichment program known as Prepare & Enrich for couples who are seeking preparation and guidance for their marital journey. He can provide you with outlines, sample materials, and options to assist you in planning and personalizing your ceremony, along with meeting with you. He handles the processing of your marriage license as well and provides you with the guidance to know how and when to obtain it.
