My husband and I live in Australia and hired Farnaz K as our wedding photographer from abroad. She was very responsive over email and easy to talk to when I arrived in NYC. Planning from Australia was difficult but Farnaz made the process seamless. On the day, she was very professional and we received some amazing shots of our wedding. The photos were quick to turn around and we were happy the results. I would definitely recommend Farnaz to my friends and family in NYC for any occasion.

Best experience I have had with a photographer. Our wedding day was a dream come true and Farnaz captured every special moment. I first met with Farnaz at her studio, she was so professional and welcoming. Not pushy at all like I had experienced with others. She showed me all our options for our wedding photographs before asking what our budget was. The day of my wedding at The Ritz Central Park, Farnaz was early with her asst as to make sure she was in sync with our wedding coordinator. She took shots of me getting ready with my fam and friends and then we headed off to Central Park, the church, then few special NYC landmarks my husband and I had chosen. I have to say I have never seen such amazing candid pics in my life, they are so unique, I get so many compliments. Farnaz was so amazing that the Ritz and my wedding planner now recommend her!!!!!

Farnaz is an exceptionally skilled photographer. To begin my search, I looked through almost all of the photographers in New York Magazine’s wedding section and perused their sites. From there, I narrowed it down to about 20 photographers in the NYC area that I sent to my husband. We ended up choosing Farnaz for a few reasons – 1) She isn’t just a wedding photographer. In fact, she only does a few weddings a year. She is widely versed in fashion photography, which means that she is quick on her feet and has a phenomenal ability to capture authentic images in lots of different lighting. 2) The photos displayed on her page are real. She isn’t really into staged photography. You won’t be spending hours posing for pictures when you should be enjoying time with your guests. She likes running around and capturing the best natural images, which is exactly what we wanted. 3) She is honest and straightforward. She doesn’t want to waste your time or hers. She lets you know exactly what you should do to be prepared – for engagement and/or wedding photos so that she gets the best shots. At the end of the day, she knows her stuff in a real way and you will walk away with beautiful, authentic pictures. The initial reply from our family and bridal party was that our wedding photos truly captured the intimacy of our day. Highly recommend!!!
