From our very first FaceTime, John took the time to learn more about us, understand what we wanted for our wedding, and walk us through his services and process. We knew after that first conversation that he was going to be our top choice.

John went far beyond just showing up and playing music. He met with us multiple times for over an hour at a time to help build out our playlist, helped us do a full event walk-through at our venue, worked through our timeline, and even provided additional lighting to make sure the ambiance was exactly what we envisioned.

He was also incredibly flexible and worked seamlessly alongside our wedding planner, who we brought on fairly last-minute. Throughout the entire process, John made us feel comfortable and confident that the reception was in great hands.

And then came the wedding day — John absolutely crushed it. Of every compliment and comment we received about our reception, the one we heard the most was how incredible John kept the dance floor. His unique taste in music, upbeat remixes, and ability to read the room kept everyone moving all night long.

We have received countless compliments about the music and the energy of our reception, with one of our friends even telling us it was a “top 3 wedding he has ever been to.”

I have been a wedding photographer since college (about 20 years ago!) and have worked for some amazing high-end photographers in Cleveland and Chicago. When it came to my own wedding photography for my second wedding this past July, I was incredibly picky - not just with the music style, but also I know how important it is that our personalities aligned, and I wanted someone who was very organized and had some fun ideas!

My best friend used John for her wedding in 2013 and he absolutely rocked the dance floor. He did just a great job - it was a big beautiful Greek wedding and he had control of the event the entire time, making sure my bestie and her hubby were center stage but also that all the many guests had a blast.

For our wedding, we had only about 110 guests and many of the guests were pretty conservative and didn't normally dance at weddings. I gave John the ultimate challenge - play songs that even my new father-in-law will dance to (he's never danced at a wedding before)...and he was dancing at our reception!! John was incredibly respectful of the more conservative guests, but also provided an absolute party for those who wanted to dance and have a fun time.

Meeting with John ahead of time immediately put us at ease - he is organized and has great ideas. He's been in this business long enough to know what songs and ideas will hit well, but he's very open to new ideas and song suggestions!

The actual wedding went so well and John was such a big part of that - we cannot thank him enough. Stop looking for your DJ - John is your guy!

DJ John was everything that we could have asked for in a DJ and more! He listened to us but also used his experience to say “here’s what we got to do”. Our trust in him was 100% well placed because he killed it! The dance floor was packed from the second the night started to the very last song. We would pick him again every single time without a doubt!

We had John Marcopulos DJ our wedding and we couldn't have been happier! John was so attentive to all our questions as we were getting ready for our wedding, whenever we would call him he would answer right away or call us back in 5-10 minutes. He was extremely helpful with navigating a mixed Greek and Polish wedding, with great recommendations and suggestions. During the day of the wedding he was extremely
communicative, kept us in the loop of what was upcoming so we could ready! It made enjoying the day so much easier with him there, we cannot recommend him enough 10/10!
