Emily was absolutely amazing! I wanted a natural but leveled-up look for my wedding, and she nailed it—flawless, long-lasting, and exactly what I envisioned. My entire bridal party looked stunning too, and everyone felt beautiful. Emily was professional, kind, and such a calming presence on the big day. I can't recommend her enough! I highly recommend Emily at Face Forward! I did my bridal makeup trial with Emily earlier this year and she did an excellent job doing my makeup just like I had shown in my inspo pic. She also gave helpful skincare recommendations to make sure my skin was in great shape on the big day. This past weekend, Emily arrived at our wedding venue on time and was ready to go right at our scheduled time (might’ve even been 5-10 min earlier!). Our makeup all looked fabulous and Emily was very patient as our photographer asked for specific makeup shots. What really stood out about Emily is (1) how comfortable she makes others feel around her, (2) the touch up kit she gave me with oil blotting papers, lip color, and eyelash glue, and (3) she did complementary makeup for our flower girls (lip gloss, blush)! I cannot say enough great things about Emily and I highly recommend her for wedding makeup!

You NEED Emily for your wedding! I cannot say enough good things about Emily and Brianna (and Jenna for spray tans, too!) Emily is professional, communicative, creative, and truly so amazing at what she does. Her and Brianna were so patient with myself and the bridal party, both leading up to the wedding and the day of as well - taking as much time as needed for changes, touch-ups and being so gracious and patient the entire time. I am not someone who typically wears a ton of makeup/had ever had my makeup done professionally before, and Emily made me feel so comfortable and had such great ideas for exactly how to approach everything. I went into our wedding day knowing I could trust her and that is an invaluable feeling! Thank you so, so much Emily!!

Emily, on top of being a complete sweetheart and all around wonderful person, is the most AMAZINGLY TALENTED make up artist! I was lucky enough to hire her for my makeup for my engagement party, bridal shower, and wedding. Each time I received countless compliments about the quality of her work and referred her to everyone I possibly could.

From our trial and conversations she was able to create the bridal look of my dreams. She took so much care and time creating my bridal look that I truly felt (and looked!) like a celebrity.

She made me not only look but also feel beautiful; which is so important to a bride on her special day. She exudes happiness and makes you feel so comfortable. Starting the day with her was the best energy to go into my wedding with. Her calming and kind demeanor, on top of her talent, make her highly qualified and I cannot express how highly I recommend her.

On top of the beautiful quality of her work, her make up was SO durable and long lasting. She did my wedding makeup on one of the HOTTEST days of the year thus far. The ceremony was a 1:00 pm wedding and was 100 degrees in the church (with no AC) and my makeup did not run AT ALL throughout the hour mass! It also stayed for the entire reception that did not begin until 6:00 pm (include outside photos at church and venue). My makeup stayed from 12:00 pm when she finished through the after party without needing a touch up. It was such a comfort to not have to worry about my make up at all that day.

Finally, I cannot finish a review without mentioning her professionalism. She arrived ready to go at 5:45 am and powered through 13 girls with her lovely assistant (who is also a delight and matches Emily’s sweet personality perfectly). She was on time (drove over an hour at 4 am to my hotel to get there with no complaint), organized (set up was seamless like she had done it 1 million times), had a huge variety of products (and the professional knowledge to match each girls desired look and skin tone), and sanitized everything between each girl.

I cannot recommend Emily enough!!

Emily is an ELITE when it comes to make up. Her skills are beyond this world and my make up was FLAWLESS for my wedding. We didn’t even do a trial. I put my trust in her the day of and she delivered! All my bridesmaids looked incredible - she puts 100% into every face. Communication was fantastic and her personality meshes so well with everyone. We all loved her!!! I had to change my venue because of covid and she was more than accommodating. BOOK EMILY you will not regret it!

Emily was perfect from the start! She has an amazing ability to be extremely professional and feel like family at the same time. Everyone loved her! She is also a total magician with makeup. She really took the time to understand what everyone wanted to look like and made sure everyone felt beautiful!! The makeup also lasted really well. Our day was 85 degrees and HUMID and I felt like my makeup was going to be half way down my face, but when I looked at it 5 hours later, it was as if I just put it on! You also couldn’t see any sweat on my face at all. My husband later asked how I wasn’t sweating at our alter....it was definitely the makeup!!! I would recommend Emily to everyone.

Emily is fantastic. Throughout planning my wedding she was so flexible and accommodating, especially as my wedding plans changed due to COVID.
