We hired Emily as our day-of coordinator, but her services went far beyond simply showing up on the wedding day. From the very beginning, she helped us feel prepared, organized, and confident that our wedding would be a success.

We booked her almost 11 months before our wedding, and she was helpful from the start. She guided us through contracts, vendor questions, venue requirements, and all the little details we would not have known to think about.

She was always responsive and great at keeping us on track without making the process feel overwhelming. She also attended important virtual vendor meetings with us, visited the venue with us, and made sure everyone understood the layout, timeline, and overall vision for the day.

Claire, our Day Of Coordinator, went above and beyond to ensure we had not only a flawless wedding day, but an easy lead up to the day as well. We hired her 3 months before the wedding before a significant amount of personal and work travel, and Claire adjusted her checkpoints and milestones to ensure we were close to finished prior to our travel beginning. She provided bi-weekly checklists and meetings, joined all of our final vendor calls, and helped us stay organized every step of the way. On the wedding day, she managed all of the vendor relationships and communications, and she was so helpful to keeping us just in the loop enough while still getting to enjoy the day. We also had a substantial issue with our bus driver arriving late and driving unsafely, and Claire handled the situation with grace and professionalism. We barely even knew about the issue until it was time to go home and Claire briefly shared what was going on and our solution to get our guests home. We could not have kicked off our marriage without her!

Working with Emily from “Events By Em” was the best experience my wife and I could have asked for while planning our wedding. Emily communicates promptly, efficiently, clearly, is highly organized, and has complete command over the wedding planning process from beginning to end. No stone was left unturned. She made us aware of so many things we wouldn’t have thought of on our own (e.g. how much to tip each vendor, etc.). There are too many positive things to mention in one review, so I’ll say our biggest takeaway was that we didn’t feel nervous or very stressed at all leading up to/during the big day. Hiring EVNTSBYEM was hands down the best decision we made in our entire wedding planning process. She took on every challenge, every curveball, and every last-minute detail without missing a beat. Her professionalism is unmatched, and her ability to keep us calm while managing what felt like a hundred moving parts at once was truly remarkable. Emily is the best decision for a wedding coordinator. She was very responsive and easy to communicate with at any time. We had a few phone calls to preview other wedding coordinators but she was different in the sense that she’s straight to the point and we totally got a sense that she is an incredibly hard worker. We also chose her because her prices are super reasonable and not overpriced like other vendors. We are blown away by how seamless she made everything feel up to our wedding day. She is very organized. Every time we had a question, she had an answer. She was never unsure. She gave us recommendations on vendors and we ended up using a limousine service which was great quality and super affordable. She is not only super organized but very friendly as well. Our wedding venue was only 10 minutes away from our hotel and we were planning to uber it back and she took us home instead. We felt so at ease on my wedding day and we had full trust in her and her team. She also knew most of the vendors that we chose so she’s really well known. Her staff is her family and that’s what makes her service even more meaningful as her family is also very hard working but they’re fun as well! 6 out of 5 stars. We searched and interviewed a few others, but none stood out like Em. She was kind, knowledgeable, professional, and left us feeling confident. We are also from the 626 area and her knowledge of the area intrigued us as well. Her pricing is fair, especially since she began working for us the moment we hired her, which was a whole year before our wedding. Em sent us reminders, checklists, and communicated with us throughout the year. She offered insightful suggestions but always (and endlessly) supported our choices. Truthfully, the main factor we hired Em was the fact that it was clear she cared for us from the moment we asked for help.

On our wedding day, she and Tony were lifesavers. We truly had nothing to worry about as she took lead and helped us throughout the entire day. For example, the florists/decorators rushed the job and did not finish decorating. Em took charge and stood on chairs to finish the work herself. Additionally, the wedding dress was not bustled and she literally pinned it herself so the bride was able to dance and move around comfortably. Throughout the ceremony and reception, Em made our vision possible. She kept us organized and on track. Most importantly, she listened and provided what we needed. She was our advocate when we were swarmed with questions. Em even stopped by and checked in with us the day after our wedding, Her dedication to creating a seamless and perfect day for her couples is sincere. She was the best teammate throughout our entire wedding experience.
The biggest compliment was the fact that Em continued to support us AFTER her contract and our wedding had passed. She was not obligated to, but she continued to advocate for us. We had a dispute with the florists and she continued to take our calls, provide advice, and overall champion for us.
