We found our venue in May and intended to have a "chill" reception in October (5 months). As we dove deeper, we wanted a wedding ceremony too. We started our wedding planning without a coordinator and realized how much we didn't know.

We were put in contact with Emily at the beginning of August (2.5 months to Wedding date) and miraculously were able to contract her services. SHE WAS A GAMECHANGER. We cannot recommend Emily enough. She is honest and always looking for your best interest.

We searched and interviewed a few others, but none stood out like Em. She was kind, knowledgeable, professional, and left us feeling confident. We are also from the 626 area and her knowledge of the area intrigued us as well. Her pricing is fair, especially since she began working for us the moment we hired her, which was a whole year before our wedding. Em sent us reminders, checklists, and communicated with us throughout the year. She offered insightful suggestions but always (and endlessly) supported our choices. Truthfully, the main factor we hired Em was the fact that it was clear she cared for us from the moment we asked for help.

On our wedding day, she and Tony were lifesavers. We truly had nothing to worry about as she took lead and helped us throughout the entire day. For example, the florists/decorators rushed the job and did not finish decorating. Em took charge and stood on chairs to finish the work herself. Additionally, the wedding dress was not bustled and she literally pinned it herself so the bride was able to dance and move around comfortably. Throughout the ceremony and reception, Em made our vision possible. She kept us organized and on track. Most importantly, she listened and provided what we needed. She was our advocate when we were swarmed with questions. Em even stopped by and checked in with us the day after our wedding, Her dedication to creating a seamless and perfect day for her couples is sincere. She was the best teammate throughout our entire wedding experience.
The biggest compliment was the fact that Em continued to support us AFTER her contract and our wedding had passed. She was not obligated to, but she continued to advocate for us. We had a dispute with the florists and she continued to take our calls, provide advice, and overall champion for us.

To start, I hired Emily for day of coordination about 1.5 years in advance and didn’t know what to expect but, she went above and beyond the entire time.
