Of every decision we made for our wedding, hiring Stephanie was hands down the BEST.

From the very beginning, Steph made us feel calm, organized, supported, and completely taken care of. Wedding planning can be overwhelming, but she has this incredible ability to take the pressure off while still making sure absolutely everything gets done. She is accommodating and helpful without ever just telling you what you want to hear. She is realistic, gives AMAZING advice, and always makes you feel like she has everything completely under control. And she does. She knows this industry inside and out, has connections everywhere, is incredibly professional, and responds to every text approximately two seconds after you send it.

When we were originally choosing a planner, my now-husband asked me, “If everything was going wrong on our wedding day, who would you want standing there with you?” I immediately said, “Steph. One hundred percent.” And that really sums her up. Nothing actually DID go wrong on our wedding day, largely because Steph had everything running so smoothly, but she is exactly the person you want in your corner. She is warm, kind, calm and reassuring, while also being an absolute force when it comes to advocating for her clients and making sure their vision is protected. You just know that if something needs to be handled, Steph is going to handle it.

By the time our wedding arrived, she genuinely felt more like a friend than our wedding planner. She knew us, she knew what mattered to us, and we trusted her completely. On the actual wedding day, we didn’t have to think about logistics or timelines or vendors or whether something was happening when it was supposed to. We got to be present and enjoy our wedding because Steph was taking care of everything behind the scenes. The entire day felt effortless to us, and I know that is because of how much work she put into making it that way.

An honorable mention absolutely HAS to go to her husband, David, who photographed my bridal portraits and our rehearsal dinner and was also a second shooter with our photographer on our wedding day. He is just as wonderful. Incredibly kind, talented, professional, and such a pleasure to have around during some of the most special moments of our wedding weekend.

One of the unexpected bonuses of hiring Steph is that you also get introduced to this incredible network of people she has built around her. She knows amazing vendors and surrounds herself with people who are not only talented but genuinely wonderful to work with.

There are many people who talk about post-wedding depression (the feeling when the all-time high from your wedding suddenly drops, and you realize the day has flown by); but not many people talk about post-wedding planner depression. If you are looking to hire a planner, Stephanie (Events By U) should be first on your list.

I first met Stephanie ... before I was engaged. Not something I wanted to admit, that I was looking for a planner pre-engagement, but as a Type A person who didn't live where I was planning my wedding, I wanted to get things moving. I connected with several (10 or so) different planners with a range of skills, prices, budget expectations, and personalities. Stephanie and I clicked instantly. If there is one piece of advice I would give to brides, is to connect with your planner both personally and professionally. Stephanie was with me every step of the way. From helping my fiancé (now husband) plan my proposal, to helping my mother with my bridal shower, and finally to my entire wedding weekend extravaganza, Stephanie dealt with the many personalities of my own friends and family and treated us all with patience, professionalism, and compassion.

Stephanie knows EVERYONE. Vendor management, and finding the right team was top of my mind. If there is someone who is able to connect you with anyone, its Stephanie. She taught me that building the right team for my wedding weekend would help the event run smoother than ever, and she was right. As a full service experience, she handled all of the conversations behind the scenes, and it was worth it. Every vendor we spoke to, or connected with, Stephanie was always spoken about in the most positive ways. She is a 'light', she is 'the best planner, she always remembers every detail', she 'works well with every vendor.' These are just a few of the many positive things we heard from some of the vendors we worked with.

As you could imagine, things happen during the planning process. Planning a wedding is not all rainbows and butterflies, but Stephanie helped navigate everything with ease. We always knew that through our conversations we could navigate anything together ... and so we did. Stephanie's attention to detail, design, and connections helped us build the most magnificent layout for our wedding reception. As someone with little to no design experience, Stephanie brought her expertise to our Welcome Party, Cocktail Hour, and Wedding Reception. The ceiling installation was insane (as seen in my pictures) -- and not easy to navigate all of the logistics for, but Stephanie handled it all. The DJ, the lightning, the day of timeline which navigated our group (from all over the country) from Coral Gables to Downtown Miami during the FIFA Quaterfinals, the room blocks, the shuttles, and everything in between went perfectly (at least to my eyes ... which is what matters to me). As things happened day-of, Stephanie and her team handled it all.

The wedding day in our eyes was the most perfect and best day of our lives, and we have a lot of that to attribute to Stephanie. As I sit here writing this, I am beyond emotional -- because Stephanie has become more than just a wedding planner, but a friend. She taught me so much about what is important, and how to navigate anything that comes our way, with ease. I look forward to the next event I hold so that I can reach out to her.

I originally was not going to go with a wedding planner but my family and friends insisted. She was actually “gifted” to me and now looking back, she is the best gift I could have gotten. We hired Steph as a month-of coordinator for our wedding reception. As far as 6 months out, Steph did monthly check ins with us and was available for any questions/vendor recommendations. As we got closer to the event, Steph’s expertise became invaluable - there was no question she didn’t have an answer to, she was organized throughout the entire process and made planning look easy, and she provided emotional support on many levels. The event turned out magical and Steph was fully present the day of to ensure all of our needs were taken care of. We are eternally grateful to Steph and her team!

We signed with Stephanie about 14 months before our wedding, and from day one she jumped right into planning. Within the first 2–3 months, we had almost all of our vendors booked, which made the entire process feel so organized and stress-free.

Stephanie was the best planner we could have ever asked for!!! From the moment I spoke to her on the phone I knew she had great energy. She listened to me, my vision, and my budget. She was highly organized and made the planning process so much better than I imagined. The actual wedding itself was pure perfection. She really outdid herself and did it with the biggest smile. She was running around and grabbing things for us all day and had this super positive energy that I can’t thank her enough for. She was exceptional. HIRE HER!!! Best in Miami!! Working with Stephanie and Events By U was honestly one of the best parts of our entire wedding experience. We told her we wanted a Parisian 1920s-inspired micro-wedding, and she didn’t just make it happen—she made it feel like we had stepped straight into the vision we’d been carrying in our heads for months. She really listened to us, understood what we were hoping for, and then somehow elevated it in ways we never could have imagined on our own.

Her communication was incredible throughout the whole process. She was always on top of timing, always checking in, and always available when we needed her, even when we didn’t know what we needed. She guided us through everything (including the marriage license situation we didn’t even realize we had to handle), and she did it all with patience, kindness, and the calmest energy you want during wedding planning.

The day itself flowed effortlessly because of her. I had a smile on my face the entire time! Truly, if we had to do this all over again, we wouldn’t hesitate and choose her again in a heartbeat.
