We signed with Stephanie about 14 months before our wedding, and from day one she jumped right into planning. Within the first 2–3 months, we had almost all of our vendors booked, which made the entire process feel so organized and stress-free.
Stephanie was always available throughout the planning period no matter the time of day, she was quick to respond to texts and calls and constantly reassured us along the way. She coordinated all meetings with our vendors and the venue and was present for every one, which we really appreciated. Her vendor recommendations were amazing, and everyone we worked with exceeded our expectations. She was also very open to changes we made as our vision evolved.
Thanks to all the planning and preparation, our vision was truly brought to life in the most beautiful way! Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more, and we’re so grateful for Stephanie’s guidance and support throughout the planning process.

Working with Stephanie and Events By U was honestly one of the best parts of our entire wedding experience. We told her we wanted a Parisian 1920s-inspired micro-wedding, and she didn’t just make it happen—she made it feel like we had stepped straight into the vision we’d been carrying in our heads for months. She really listened to us, understood what we were hoping for, and then somehow elevated it in ways we never could have imagined on our own.
Her communication was incredible throughout the whole process. She was always on top of timing, always checking in, and always available when we needed her, even when we didn’t know what we needed. She guided us through everything (including the marriage license situation we didn’t even realize we had to handle), and she did it all with patience, kindness, and the calmest energy you want during wedding planning.
The day itself flowed effortlessly because of her. I had a smile on my face the entire time! Truly, if we had to do this all over again, we wouldn’t hesitate and choose her again in a heartbeat.
P.S. She is also more than willing to get you a cafecito exactly when you need it (because the day is long), and she has a very special technique to make sure there’s zero spillage. Brides… you’ll just have to hire her to find out how! -

Steph and her team were absolutely incredible. I booked her for month-of coordination (starting two months before our wedding), and from the moment I signed, she was available for anything I needed. Her prices are so reasonable, and honestly, it’s worth it a million times over.
Steph will truly do anything and everything to make your day perfect. She helped with our rehearsal, bustled my dress, moved florals and décor between spaces, refilled the bubble guns, took the audio guestbook around to guests, touched up my makeup, made sure we had food and drinks, packed everything up at the end of the night — and so, so, so much more. And that’s only a fraction of what I even know about! There’s just no way a wedding could run as smoothly as mine did without a hundred little things happening seamlessly behind the scenes. Steph and her team were constantly two steps ahead, quietly taking care of everything before anyone even realized it needed to be done. She’s warm, professional, organized, and completely non-intrusive, yet somehow everywhere at once.
Because of Steph, my friends and family got to simply enjoy the day without having any responsibilities. You and your guests deserve that!

Stephanie was truly the reason our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. From the very beginning, she made the planning process feel easy and stress free. No matter how random or last-minute my ideas were, she was always responsive, thoughtful, and somehow made it all happen.
All her vendor recommendations were spot-on and you could tell she has amazing relationships in the industry. Thanks to her, we were surrounded by a dream team who not only delivered but genuinely cared about making our day special.
On the day of the wedding, she handled everything flawlessly. I trusted her completely and was actually able to be present and enjoy every single moment. She was everywhere all at once setting up behind the scenes, calming my nerves with a reassuring hand or words of encouragement, and touching up my lip gloss whenever I so much as thought about her.
She made sure we were fed, drinking, dancing, and ON TIME, a true miracle. I honestly don’t know how she did it all, but she made us feel so cared for every step of the way. Our wedding day was beyond magical, and we owe so much of that to her.
If I could relive that day over and over, I would and I’d want her by my side every time. We love her and couldn’t be more grateful.

Stephanie and her team were so amazing during the entire process! She is so well versed in the wedding industry and is not phased by any request too big or too small! Stephanie and her team's top priority is the bride and groom, and their experience. My husband and I felt so at ease and relaxed our entire wedding day knowing Stephanie had everything under control. We got to enjoy the moment because we knew that Stephanie was taking care of everything. We found out the next day a few things went wrong (as they always do by chance and outside anyone's control), but Stephanie handled them easily in the moment, and we were blissfully unaware of any potential issue. That is what you hire Stephanie and her team for-- and that is what they excel at; making sure you, your partner, and your guests have no idea how much hard work goes into a perfect wedding. Your Best Friend and Best Advocate
This is long so I’ll start with the bottom line: this is the best planner/day-of coordinator, so you can stop looking for one.
Working with Stephanie was one of the best decisions of my entire wedding experience. We brought her in with two months to go before our wedding, and she was the organized, upbeat, practical, creative, patient, absolute rockstar that we needed to pull everything together. We had planned a lot but were still missing critical vendors, had difficult decisions to make, budgeting obstacles to work through, and a whole lot of final details with not a lot of time. Stephanie and her team came through like a pack of superheroes and brought me the bridal wedding support I desperately needed and took so much of the stress out of the final stages. My biggest regret was not hiring her as a full planner from the very beginning.
Her prices are very competitively good for her services, and she can help you with anything from design decisions to vendor recommendations, seating charts to unique guest experiences. She works with your dream and makes it happen to the absolute best of her ability. Stephanie made sure our ideas were heard, even if they were different than the standard wedding, because she cared about us having a wedding that reflected who we actually are as people. For example, she helped me design custom herbal cocktails along with our florist to have edible table arrangements for guests to harvest. This was special because I am an herbalist and it made me feel like my passions were present with my family and friends. She also helped us plan an incredible afterparty with locally loved recommendations as out-of-town clients, and even came to almost all of our design and planning meetings (including just us two on Canva making reception stationary). Not only does her expertise and local knowledge show, she’s culturally sensitive and extremely inclusive of all of your loved ones. She made sure we had LGBTQ+ friendly hair and makeup for my wedding party and was exceptional at working with our diverse Jewish family to make sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of.
Working with Stephanie felt like having a big sister that knew what was best at every turn, would stick up for you when you need her to, and won’t settle for anything less than the best for your big day. Even when I was ready to compromise, she pushed through for our vision. Stephanie makes sure everyone and everything is ready so you can be present and enjoy yourself, and I couldn’t have had such a beautiful and joyous wedding without her. Thank you for everything! Stephanie was an absolute joy to work with! We hired her for month of coordination for our wedding, but she was in constant communication with us from the moment we hired her over a year before the big day. She was a calming presence on wedding day, quickly scouting a new first look location when the original one was unavailable, making sure we were fed throughout the night, and even helping when the bride had a dress issue before the first dance. She also pulled off a surprise cake for the groom at the reception. Always up for an "invento," Stephanie is a true professional who will go above and beyond to make your event beautiful and stress free. From the moment I spoke to Stephanie, I knew she had to be our planner. Since day one, she was very attentive and always willing to help. Throughout the entire process, we were able to call/text her with any questions or concerns no matter the time of day. On wedding day we had a couple of small hiccups with the venue but Stephanie stepped right in and made everything happen as I envisioned our perfect day to be. She genuinely wants your special day to be beyond perfect. During cocktail hour, while we were taking pictures, she made sure to bring us drinks and food so we wouldn’t feel left out. From the moment my husband and I saw Stephanie in action at a wedding, we were interested in hiring her. We met for our initial meeting and Stephanie was on time, prepared and informative (my kind of people). She took time to get to know us and understand our vision. The details in a wedding are extremely important and may make or break the wedding (depending on what kind of bride you are). We hired her as a month of coordinator but she answered any & all questions we had before she was technically "on the clock".
Stephanie was responsive, always "team bride & groom" over anybody, and made all of our ideas work. She never pressured us into making decisions we didn't want to make, rather supported and provided us with options. She has been in business over 10+ years and knows lots of vendors so she can save you stress and time, which is frankly worth more than $$.
She was with us every step of the way and knew exactly what to say to calm my nerves. I'm a decisive person and can typically figure things out on my own but when you manage a personal life, career, and extracurricular activities, there's only so you can handle. Hiring a professional helped the process seem manageable. Stephanie is TOP TIER with lots of value. She will make it happen and constantly tell you "I got you"...which for me, is all I needed.
Let's talk wedding day...
Steph was an absolute ninja. I'm not kidding...I don't understand how she did it. She was handling vendors, our families, us and everything in between. No stress was seen in her eyes....she was decisive and even found extra time for other things we wanted to do on our "wish list". Things you may not think about like taking extra moments with your spouse between cocktail and reception, EATING, changing into any outfits and taking in all the details of your wedding planning.
We had an absolutely amazing experience with Stephanie and her team. They were extremely helpful and attentive to all details you will not realize on wedding day. If you're reading this, don't think twice about hiring Stephanie as a wedding coordinator or full-on planner. It was the best decision we made and would make it 10x over. -

The moment I got engaged I knew that I wanted Stephanie to plan my wedding. I texted her immediately the following day to tell her. One of the first things I asked her if 2024 would be possible— I got engaged August 12, 2023 and three days later we officially met and started planning my wedding. We decided on August 30, 2024 I did not think that we would be able to plan a full blown wedding like I wanted in exactly a year but Stephanie made it happen. I hired Stephanie for the full wedding planning service which many wouldn’t believe since I do (small) events myself and enjoy planning but I knew that I would need her help with this. Let me tell you that I am so glad that I had Steph by my side for all the decisions that I had to make. She made the process so much simpler— I booked all the vendors that she recommended and they did NOT disappoint. Throughout the year, Steph accommodated to my crazy schedule for appointments and kept me on track with everything that needed to be done. She was there in person or virtually depending on the appointment type and most of the times before even I would get there myself. I truly don’t know how she does it— throughout the wedding planning she was always a text or phone call away; no matter the time.
Whenever family or friends would ask about the wedding planning process I would always say that I wouldn’t be able to do it without my wedding planner and how she was the first person I hired.
It was extremely hard at first to trust someone else do be in charge of something for me because I am very hands on and involved but Steph perfectly executed our vision and everything came out a million times better than we could’ve ever imagined. It’s not easy to impress my mom and I but Steph met and exceeded our expectations.
There has not need one guest that didn’t tell me at the wedding or called me afterwards to tell me that was the best wedding they’ve ever been too. Everything was absolute perfection and that would not have been possible without Events by U.

Rock Star Coordinator!
Stephanie was exactly what we needed on our wedding day! I decided to do most of the planning myself but I'm so happy and relieved we picked Stephanie as our Day of Coordinator. She's easy to get along with, super relatable and very organized. She was also highly recommended by other vendors I was working with. From our initial meeting together she took detailed notes and assured us we were on track with our planning. She didn't hesitate to offer her help or recommend any other vendors we were missing. Steph was always available to answer any questions we had throughout our planning. When wedding day came she went right into action with her assistants which were the sweetest ladies! They checked on us often and were with us literally every step of the way. Things may go wrong here and there on wedding day but it was nothing Steph and her team couldn't handle, they take care of everything and were willing to do it all to make my day happen! They communicated everything with me, as a bride, not once did I feel stressed we just had the best day ever! I think her services are very fairly priced for everything she does that day! -

Events by U with the owner, Stephanie Ulloa, and all her staff are absolutely amazing. I met Steph in my maid of honor and best friend’s wedding. She helped me have the WEDDING OF MY DREAMS!
From the moment my husband and I selected her to be our wedding coordinator she was constantly communicating with us, helping and guiding us. When you are hiring an expert for your big day, make sure this person is passionate about their service. On my experience with Events By U, she is not just passionate; she is also, Proffesional, fast, enthusiastic, positive, and will make sure you enjoy your big day.
My hair and makeup artist cancelled on me the week before my wedding day, Events By U got me one 30 minutes after and she was fantastic. If I needed a vendor she will recommend me others that were as qualified or were even better.
My husband and I requested one very important thing to her: “Please, we really want to enjoy our wedding day.” She made sure we had the time of our life. Words cannot explain how much I appreciate Stephanie and her team, she listened to all my concerns and made sure they were all covered.
I am a perfectionist, and until today I cannot point out one thing that was not as I requested or expected it to be. I know that if you hire Events By U for your big event you will not regret it.

We worked with Events by U very closely for almost a year and half to plan our wedding in South Florida as an out of state couple in New York. I want to start by saying WOW! We booked the lovely Mrs. Stephanie 4-5 months before our wedding. In the that short amount of time we needed so so much help due to the time tiking. Thankfully we came across Stephanie because Honestly i didn’t know how everything was going to be coordinated and reserved on time. We had a couple obstacles along the way and Stephanie made every possible way for us to not stress and have a smooth day for our wedding. Best planner in Miami
I fought myself in adding the review now because i wanted it to be perfect just like the service i got . The service from Stephanie was amazing. Everyone loved how everything came out. Not only was everything perfect as i pictured it but throughout the process, she was wonderful to work with. She was quick to respond and would listen, give suggestions/ ideas and was very professional . Hiring was the best decision i made when starting the process of my daughter’s Quinces. Even when i would start to stress, she would immediately tell me not to that it was her job to do so. Even her vendor list is just as professional and responsive as her . Something important to mention, she stayed within the budget we wanted. I would highly recommend Events by u and i would hire her in a blink again. -

Stephanie was the best present my (was fiancé) husband got me for our wedding. When I was attempted to plan a wedding I was so overwhelmed, I was in tears. Stephanie handled everything. When ever something went wrong (which just happens) she was already working on making our perfect day even more perfect! She was the best to work with, she is so creative and will make whatever you want come true! The has amazing recommendations for all the vendors. Everyone complimented us on the food and how beautiful everything looked. The fact that she goes the extra mile to make every detail gorgeous could not have been done better by anyone else. I could not have had such an amazing day without her. -

Competence
Planning and executing an event for the certainly one of the most important days of our daughter’s life is very stressful. Significantly aggravating the difficulties of ultimately achieving a happy and fulfilling event has been COVID.
There are many moving parts - the proper venue, catering, music, flowers, transportation, hotel accommodations, out of town guests, are only a few of the ingredients for a successful wedding. Going it alone is not advisable!!! Hiring Events by U, led by Stephanie, was the best decision I made. Not only was she a problem solver, but she also enhanced every aspect of the wedding. She is extremely well connected within the industry. She not only solves inevitable problems, she also frequently anticipated and circumvented obstacles before they became problems. She has a strong balance of flexibility and firmness while remaining conscience of everyone’s needs. Overall, the best complement I have for Stephanie and her staff at Events by U is COMPETENCE!! I will keep Events by U on my speed dial for all my future events. I highly recommend.

Working with Events by U was probably one of my favorite parts of this entire wedding process. My husband and I got engaged on January 2020 at the start of literally the WORST year to plan a wedding. It was also just enough time to set a wedding date for November 2020 and reserve a venue before the pandemic hit us. My husband and I decided to reschedule the bigger celebration and to do a small micro-wedding with only family in November. So suddenly, somehow, we had to plan TWO weddings. Stephanie was there holding our hands through it all. Her input and guidance was PRICELESS! At first I didn't understand why wedding coordinators charged so much. With Stephanie, I often wondered why she didn't charge more. She was always available to answer our questions and worked tirelessly to problem solve any issue we had. She's swift to respond to any text or phone call and she will call anyone I asked her to on my behalf. She helped us deal with difficult vendors and navigate delicate family issues that are inevitable with any wedding. Events by U is a resource I will continue to reach out to in the future for any event planning need. I recommend her without any reservation. -

Stephanie is amazing!
Stephanie was amazing from the moment we started planning a year from our wedding all the way till the end. She helped us with any little thing we needed along the way and was always there when we needed some guidance or questions answered.
Stephanie is extremely reliable and will help clarify any doubts you may have. She was always just a text or phone call away, which is amazing. All her ideas were great & on day of she was always making sure we had everything we needed & made sure we ate! :) I highly recommend her if you are looking for a wedding planner! -

I'm not one to write reviews but I couldn't go out without reviewing one of my best wedding planning experiences I had for my daughter's wedding. A wedding is always stressful and you add a pandamic and it takes it to another level. Stephanie from Events by U was my daughter's wedding planner and I couldn't of been more pleased. Stephanie makes herself available 24/7 to assist with any questions or concerns. She answers her phone, email and text messages right away without hesitation. We started 12 months early and she was always there for us and checking in to make sure we were all doing fine. The final result was amazing from her going to the venue, to the hotel to assist the bride and first look back to the venue until the end of the event and beyond. You develop a strong bond and a friendship for life and hopefully future events (baby shower 🙏). Stephanie we thank you and love you. Christina, Jacob, Martin and Lissette. 💕 -

Stephanie became my wedding coordinator literally two weeks before my wedding. Not only did she have the challenge of time to contend with, but for good measure, we threw in HURRICANE DORIAN (we got married August 31) and she still nailed it. She was extremely professional, prompt, kind, positive attitude, helpful, experienced, organized, reasonably priced, flexible/improviser, etc..... basically all the qualities of an amazing wedding coordinator. An example of her flexibility: we had to move our wedding up two hours the night before, I had two separate locations (ceremony and reception), and what felt like a million vendors. To her credit, each vendor showed up on time and everything ran smoothly. She made sure I was taken care of the entire day (made sure I was fed, hydrated, looking on point) and had nothing to worry about (which was a lot!!) except getting married. I am not one to write reviews but I felt compelled to. Frankly, I can go on about how thankful I am to have had her there but I'll just say this, hire her, you will not be disappointed. -
Bianca Sent on 02/22/2018WOW! I do not even know where to begin! Stephanie and Lisa are beyond AMAZING! They made me, major control freak, feel SO at ease on my wedding day! They helped with all details, big and small, and helped me keep my sanity. Not only was my wedding day flawless and everything I could have every wanted, I came to Stephanie with a task that seemed almost impossible and she got it done for me, and FAST! She was able to find me a company that did a Star Wars themed Hora Loca as a surprise for my husband! If you need someone efficient, creative and responsible, hire them! You will not regret it!!!

I can't thank Stephanie enough! I don't know how I could have planned my wedding without her. Her communication was impeccable, always answering emails and texts promptly and thoroughly. She gave helpful advice and recommendations, which I especially appreciated as an out-of-town bride. But the Wedding Day is where she really shined. She kept us on track and made sure we were comfortable, happy, and stress-free. Everything flew by without a hitch! -
