We hired Gen and her team for our NYE wedding at the Four Seasons and it was hands-down the best decision we made. 

Gen is incredibly detailed-oriented, has the best eye for design and style, and works so unbelievably hard. From the beginning she cared so much about the quality, design, and flow of our entire event, and it showed in every single moment of the day. She is quick to respond, thoughtful, and has the an amazing team of vendors, and her relationships and reputation in the industry truly make a huge difference.

What stood out most to us was her design eye and her ability to understand and elevate our vision. We trusted her fully, and our wedding turned out even better than we could have imagined. And we had so much fun with her during our meetings it was like connecting with a friend who just understood us. Every one of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and that is entirely thanks to Gen and her incredible team. 

Gen also took time to understand our preferences, including our culture and family dynamics. My husband's family speaks Vietnamese, and Gen even arranged for some of her team members to be present on the wedding day to help with the language barrier- something so small impressed us so much just ensuring that the entire experience was smooth and inclusive. 

She and her team also brought so many thoughtful, creative touches: from sourcing beautiful on-site items for stunning photos, to having a builder customize a tiered stand tower for champagne and our NYE hats, to also using that builder to hang our 1,000 gold paper cranes that become such a breathtaking focal point of the wedding and our photos.

Guys, I called this lady with TWO MONTHS until my wedding. My wive's vision was amazing and too much for her to handle. But guess what? EASY WORK for my girl Gen, who I had never met before. This is important because I'd never know it otherwise--she treated us like we were her little siblings who she wanted the very best for.
When I say she went above and beyond to make the most beautiful and warm wedding happen for us, I'm underselling it.
What initially sold me on Gen was a video I saw where she was holding court with her assistants and going over the very smallest details with them to ensure it went right. Well, at my own wedding, I experienced this in 8K Dolby Digital Surround Real Life situations. She and her wonderful team unfucked many possible crashouts, and I didn't even notice any of them.
I could write a novel, I probably will, but 5 days after our wedding, my wife and I are still on cloud 9, shit I'm working rn even and that's still true, all because Gen made it happen for us. I can't express this enough.

We are so grateful we chose Events by Genevieve (EBG) to be our wedding planner. Gen’s holistic approach not only attended to our hopes for the big day but also was sensitive to individual needs. As an introvert, she made sure I had built in breaks throughout the day so that I didn’t get too overstimulated or overwhelmed by the festivities and socializing. From the moment we started planning our wedding, we weren’t sure if hiring a planner was worth the investment. Weddings can be expensive, and adding the cost of a planner made us hesitant. But from the very first meeting with Gen—just a casual conversation—we immediately knew she was the one we needed. What sets Gen apart is her incredible ability to think of every little detail. I felt so well-prepared heading into the big day, and knowing Gen was in charge gave me complete confidence that everything would go off without a hitch.

My now wife and I both work a ton and we had procrastinated on planning our wedding for a year until we found Genevieve. We had a rather tight timeline (~4 months) and Genevieve went above and beyond to make sure our special day was perfect. Genevieve was able to organize and streamline the entire planning process for us, and it was obvious that she had a ton of experience and network, as she gave us a ton of helpful tips before and during the wedding. Even when there was a minor hiccup at the event (our fault, not hers), Genevieve was able to resolve the issue immediately by going out to pick up extra supplies! We loved working with Genevieve and couldn't have asked for a better planner.

Genevieve and her team are a DJ's (and any vendors) dream team! From the detailed timeline to on-site communication, there is nothing that was missed. The venue we worked at is one of the more complicated venues with lots of foot travel time between areas. They handled it perfectly and in my opinion was one of the smoothest weddings I had all year!
