We had a great time working with the Events by Genevieve team! I went with the month of + design coordination package which was perfect for me - I had a loose vision that aligned with the EBG aesthetic which made things easy. Chateau Lill also requires you to use their preferred list of planners in order to host a wedding at their venue. I had Elisha as my coordinator and she was AMAZING. I loved that she was able to provide ideas and solutions that fit my budget and needs. She was cool, calm and collected - she's a great person to bounce ideas off of! I had some vision for my settings, signage and vibe, and they were able to execute it flawlessly. I also loved their rental inventory - ability to decorate and reuse frames/ signage was super helpful. Several of my vendors were referred by the EBG team (florals, MUAH, photography), and I loved all of them! Would 1000% recommend going with the EBG team!

I truly cannot sing my praises for Elisha or Genevieve loud enough. My husband and I worked with Elisha from day one and received an immense amount of help from Genevieve when our venue started to show its true colors later in the planning process. Meetings with Elisha felt more like hang outs with your favorite cousin. Elisha was always so prompt and concise with her communications but never in a cold or harsh way. She is one of the most fun and truly sweetest women I met throughout the wedding industry. Whenever I would get swarmed with emails from all the different vendors and forget to reply, I would mention it in passing and she practically always had already communicated it for me. When our venue company started significantly over charging us, Elisha and Gen teamed up and handled it as quickly and efficiently as a bride could hope for. We had no one to pick up our rehearsal dinner catering and Genevieve's husband went out of his way to make it happen for us! When our venue would tell us one thing but embodied another, Elisha and Gen made sure that we got what we were originally promised. EBG is truly couple centric. If you can communicate your dream wedding they will make it happen for you! Working with Elisha and Gen was undeniably the BEST investment we made for our wedding.

Deciding to work with Events with Genevieve was by far the best decision we made while wedding planning. We couldn’t be happier with how our wedding day turned out and so much of it is due to the talent, dedication, and incredible work of Gen and her team. The day of our wedding, Gen and her team managed everything so seamlessly and thoughtfully, we had countless compliments from guests on how taken care of they felt and how stunning the event was. We and our families didn’t have to stress about anything and got to just be present and enjoy the best day. We would also be remiss if we didn’t highlight how truly spectacular everything looked. Gen is incredibly talented and has a gift for design and details, and we are still blown away by how beautifully she brought everything together. Gen and team, thank you so much for everything!!

We hired Gen and her team for our NYE wedding at the Four Seasons and it was hands-down the best decision we made. 

Gen is incredibly detailed-oriented, has the best eye for design and style, and works so unbelievably hard. From the beginning she cared so much about the quality, design, and flow of our entire event, and it showed in every single moment of the day. She is quick to respond, thoughtful, and has the an amazing team of vendors, and her relationships and reputation in the industry truly make a huge difference.

What stood out most to us was her design eye and her ability to understand and elevate our vision. We trusted her fully, and our wedding turned out even better than we could have imagined. And we had so much fun with her during our meetings it was like connecting with a friend who just understood us. Every one of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and that is entirely thanks to Gen and her incredible team. 

Gen also took time to understand our preferences, including our culture and family dynamics. My husband's family speaks Vietnamese, and Gen even arranged for some of her team members to be present on the wedding day to help with the language barrier- something so small impressed us so much just ensuring that the entire experience was smooth and inclusive. 

She and her team also brought so many thoughtful, creative touches: from sourcing beautiful on-site items for stunning photos, to having a builder customize a tiered stand tower for champagne and our NYE hats, to also using that builder to hang our 1,000 gold paper cranes that become such a breathtaking focal point of the wedding and our photos.

Gen and her team create unforgettable experiences. We are so grateful for her talent, dedication, and cannot recommend her highly enough. I hope we can find a way to work with her in another capacity! Thank you Events by Genevieve!

Guys, I called this lady with TWO MONTHS until my wedding. My wive's vision was amazing and too much for her to handle. But guess what? EASY WORK for my girl Gen, who I had never met before. This is important because I'd never know it otherwise--she treated us like we were her little siblings who she wanted the very best for.
When I say she went above and beyond to make the most beautiful and warm wedding happen for us, I'm underselling it.
What initially sold me on Gen was a video I saw where she was holding court with her assistants and going over the very smallest details with them to ensure it went right. Well, at my own wedding, I experienced this in 8K Dolby Digital Surround Real Life situations. She and her wonderful team unfucked many possible crashouts, and I didn't even notice any of them.
I could write a novel, I probably will, but 5 days after our wedding, my wife and I are still on cloud 9, shit I'm working rn even and that's still true, all because Gen made it happen for us. I can't express this enough.
