If you are looking for a cake that tastes unbeleivable please check out Euro Pastery in San Diego. We ordered a Mad Hatter and 2 chocolate fountains. The service was proffesional, the cake looked beautiful and the whole experience was perfect.

Who: Urs from The Proof of the Pudding (recommended by Jim Harmon from Park Manor for his cupcakes and his chocolate fountain)

What: We had 140 cupcakes, half of them were chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling and white buttercream frosting with white chocolate shavings on top and the other half were white cake with lemon raspberry filling and white buttercream frosting with white chocolate shavings on top. We also had a 9" cake (the same chocolate as above) for cutting.

How Much: Around $400 for everything, including delivery and the $30 rental of the cupcake tiers (beautiful!), which was refunded upon return... I was shocked at how much cheaper it was than a traditional cake, and they were a HIT!

What I looooove: It was fun to see the table all set up and the taste was absolutely amazing... I have never tasted a better cupcake in my life, and believe me, I have tasted many!

The not-so-perfect part: The owner, Urs, is kind of eccentric, but he is very passionate about his work and it shows in the quality of his baked goods. I would recommend him for any party and we plan on calling him for a duplicate of our wedding cake for our first anniversary!

Wasn't designed exactly how I imagined - shaped differently - but the flavors were AMAZING. Value priced for outstanding tasting cake.
