Hailey and her team are incredible. She was providing tips and hints for wedding planning before I even signed a contract. I could not imagine my wedding day without her - she kept us all on track and made sure I had the photos I wanted while also allowing us to socialize with our people. Thank you so much, Hailey! Everybody do yourself a favor and HIRE ESSEN EVENTS FOR YOUR WEDDING!!! I was that bride that believed I could plan a wedding myself and do everything DIY. It's not possible to all that without the consequence of stress, late nights, and tears. You need to hire a wedding planner.

I hired Hailey and her team for my wedding because I was really torn on how I'd include all the things I wanted in my wedding. To explain, I'm Vietnamese and my husband is half Brazilian-half white. Something that was really important to us is that we represent our cultures all together, but we've never seen a Vietnamese-Brazilian-American wedding ever before so we had no idea where to start. Not only did we have so many ideas culturally for our wedding, we had so many ideas period. My husband and I are a younger married couple and we got married right out of college. I wanted to be proud of our youth but not have a child-like wedding. Hailey was the PERFECT person to hire because she just understood everything we wanted and everything we were concerned about.

Hailey is also someone who will advocate for you. I call Hailey the Wedding-Lawyer because she really will have your back through everything-- she helped make all communication so smooth and effortless, handled any conflicting opinions from other vendors, she's ready for your classic wedding family drama, and she just has the biggest and kindest heart! Which really meant a lot for me!

I also like to call Hailey a magician. I don't know what she puts in her coffee but for some reason she is way too good at what she does. Sometimes I didn't even know how to explain my vision for the wedding, but she knew exactly what it was and executed it to perfection. The day of the actual wedding I was honestly jaw dropped. The Essen Events team made the entire day so smooth and effortless. They are sneaky ninjas, because I swear I blinked and BOOM my entire venue was decorated BEAUTIFULLY and everything was planned to the minute perfectly by them. I had the most relaxed and enjoyable day as a bride because of them. They were incredible to me, my family, wedding party, and just everybody!

I just cannot recommend Essen Events enough!!!! Whether you just got engaged or have already planned half of your wedding, still consider hiring Essen Events because it was just the most perfect wedding ever with them!

We used Essen Events for our Day of Coordinator and the team was amazing. A selling point for us was the familiarity and experience Essen had working with many of our local vendors. Hailey was extremely detail oriented, thoughtful, and kind as we worked with her for the month leading up to our wedding. On the day of our wedding, she was extremely professional and a calming presence for everyone involved. We loved having Essen Events as a part of our day!

Hailey's creativity when it came to florals and decor resulted in a wedding that was more beautiful than we could have imagined! Essen was an absolute dream to work with. I had hoped to find a vendor that could handle both florals and day-of coordination, and I’m SO glad I discovered Essen. Hailey was a steady, creative, and supportive presence throughout our entire planning process. She noticed the little details that mattered to us and never seemed to forget a single thing I said. She brought my floral vision to life—and then some. The flowers and tables were stunning; our friends were taking pictures with our ceremony arches all through cocktail hour!
And then there was our day-of coordinator, Melya. From the moment I met her, I knew she was the best of the best. Her calm, cheerful energy and clear expertise allowed me, a former event planner, to fully immerse myself in the moment and soak in the magic. I’ve literally never been to a wedding where everything ran on time—until my own. I still don’t know how she did it.
We truly couldn’t have pulled off such a perfect weekend without them. Essen made everything feel effortless, beautiful, and deeply personal. I’ll be stalking their Instagram forever and recommending them to everyone I know!

The sign of a good wedding planner is that things appear to go smoothly despite any minor hiccups. The sign of a great one is the adaptability to make things go smoothly when faced with obvious challenging circumstances. Essen is great by definition. They gracefully stepped in to manage some unexpected challenges with our venue as well as abnormally hot weather and high wind conditions for our daughter’s outdoor wedding ceremony. The guests were thankful that they were kept indoors until the last minute and just as the weather started to cooperate. I am sure there were other last minute pivots that happened which we don’t even know about. Thanks to Hailey and Nicole everything worked out perfectly.

We hired Essen for floral and partial planning package, and it was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. Hailey was essential in helping bring the vision and design of the day to life, and her florals were JAW-DROPPING. She helped connect us to other great vendors as well. Melya was our day of coordinator and had the perfect laid-back but completely in-control vibe, my whole family was impressed and the day went even more smoothly than we expected. Nothing but gratitude for the whole Essen team, our wedding was the best day of our lives!

Hailey and her team at Essen Events were critical in the success of our big day. She helped us leading up to the day, and she was integral in keeping the wedding on track the day of. She helped us to have an opportunity to relax and take in the day, which I really don’t think we would have gotten without her there.
