I originally tried to plan my husband and my wedding by myself with some help from a wedding-planning book. A few months before the wedding, I was stressed and desperate for help. I had the wedding date, the officiant, and the church, but I didn’t have a reception venue, make-up artist, hair-stylist, caterer, etc.

I reached out to Sydney (MyEventBudee) through the WeddingWire website along with a few other planners. My mom prayed and I prayed for help. Sydney responded promptly, and wanted to work with me. She is truly a Godsend! She gave me a reasonable price, and her services are invaluable. Sydney put me at ease right away, and I was relieved when I hired her.

I let her know my budget, and she estimated the cost for each vendor that I wanted, and kept me on-track throughout the planning process. I told her some vendors in which I was interested, and she did the price research and contacted the vendors for me. When we agreed on certain vendors, she had them send me the contracts to sign, and helped guide me and my mom where to pay. She put my flowers together with a small budget, eliminating the need for a florist.

Sydney kept me included in vendor emails and was willing to be the main communicator. She was also flexible with virtual meeting times (so I could meet with her after normal work hours).

One example of Sydney in action, was during the ceremony when I was waiting to process down the aisle. The ring-bearer (an adorable boy of about three-years of age) accidentally untied the rings from the pillow, and they fell on the floor. Sydney stayed calm, cool, and collected, as she held the narthex doors open with her foot, leaned down over her beautifully pregnant belly, and quickly tied the rings on the pillow again before sending the ring bearer and flower girl off down the aisle. Awesome!

For anyone debating about hiring a wedding planner, I totally recommend spending the money and going with MyEventBudee. Her services took a lot of stress off of me, and comforted me throughout planning and the wedding day. Sydney is a sweetheart and she does an excellent job!

We were so lucky to have Sydney as our day-of coordinator for both our wedding and our post-wedding brunch. She did an incredible job managing all the moving parts—coordinating with vendors, cueing our ceremony, troubleshooting our slideshow during the reception, and even setting up and taking down our floral photo display. Everything ran smoothly thanks to her calm, capable presence.

Throughout the planning process, Sydney was responsive, professional, and always eager to help. Her attention to detail and kind, thoughtful nature made such a difference—she even sent us Christmas cookies last year, which was such a sweet and personal touch!

Sydney was our wedding day of coordinator, and she did a great job taking control of our wedding day. She did all the thinking for everyone, made the decisions we discussed, and executed them flawlessly. She fought for what the bride and groom wanted when things didn't go our way. She created a timeline for us and kept us on track throughout the day. She set up all of our decorations, took them down, and loaded them away in the proper vehicles. Sydney checked in on us regularly. We could simply send her a text with what was on our mind as we got closer and closer to the main event. She developed a relationship with the bride, the groom, and any parents that wanted to be involved in the 1-2 months that we really worked with her. She was wonderful. We are very glad that we had her and would highly recommend her to a friend.

Sydney was remarkable throughout the entire wedding planning process. She took the time to answer our questions and give her expert opinion on everything we requested - from napkins to the day of minute by minute timeline, Sydney has you covered! She went above and beyond in so many areas, and was confident, kind, and respectful in her communication with all of our other venders. We owe it to her for making our wedding day one of the best days of our lives, and we got a friend out of the deal too💛

Besides deciding to get married, hiring Sydney to be our day of coordinator was the best decision we made during wedding planning. She is beyond professional while still being easy to work with. Hiring My Event Buddee was the best decision I made in regards to my wedding. (Second only to my husband choice) Sydney was absolutely incredible. We are currently located in Chicago, but were planning a Minneapolis wedding so we really needed help with the planning. Sydney did EVERYTHING! She designed our invitations, save the dates, place cards, found venues, found vendors, decorated everything, ran our rehearsal, budgeted, dealt with day-of crises, helped clean up, and was professional, fun, and kind.
