If you have the opportunity to work with Erika Delgado, do it! I was originally attracted to Erika Delgado because of her immense talent and well-established reputation in the wedding industry, and I came away confidently saying that bringing Erika in was one of the the absolute best decisions we made during the planning process. She went above-and-beyond the role of wedding-weekend photographer for my husband and me, not only lending her creativity to the process and wedding-day shoots but also bringing positive energy throughout the entire weekend.  
Erika is a true artist — her photos are the perfect combination of editorial and fine-art focused, all while finding and capturing a deeper meaning in each shot. She finds the small moments, captures the details, and creates photos that will stand the test of time and become an heirloom for our family. Beyond the quality of her photography and products, Erika is an incredible relationship builder who surprised, delighted, and supported us every step of the way. She went out of her way to meet my husband and me in advance of the wedding to get to know our personalities, our love story, to understand our families, and to prioritize the moments of the experience that would be important to us.
While getting married on NYE at Vizcaya presented many unique challenges, Erika was continually poised and a true leader. When I had a ‘crazy idea’ of how I wanted to capture a specific detail or to explore different parts of the venue to get a unique shot, Erika went all in, game planning with me with a ‘let’s make it happen’ attitude.
Erika is bespoke and discerning in bringing on a limited amount of new clients each year, ensuring she has the time and energy required to bring her best for each couple. This made all of the difference on the wedding day: she is a calming force, a detail catcher, and a confidence booster who made my husband and I feel at ease and natural. In the weeks and months that followed our wedding, Erika continued to deliver top-of-the-line service in posting, editing, and memorializing our unforgettable weekend. The hardest part has been creating our album, as we love all of our photos so much! We could not recommend her more.

As soon as I spoke to Erika on the phone when I started my photographer search, I knew she would be the one. On the phone she was friendly, down-to-earth and confident--you could tell she knew exactly what she was doing and had a lot of experience in the wedding industry. Right from the start I also felt that we were on the same page--it was a breath of fresh air!

Choosing a photographer was actually one of the more important wedding decisions I made, as having great photographs were really important to me. And let me tell you, Erika DELIVERED!!! She listened to every request and concern, she even met me at the venue before the wedding to scope out good photography spots and she was extremely attentive, detail-driven and organized throughout.

Further, Erika is so sweet and positive. My wedding was actually RIGHT before Covid-19 and the day was a little stressful. I also have a HUGE family and wanted a TON of pictures. Erika remained calm and in control so I didn't have to worry about anything. It was exactly what I needed!! I'm thankful she was with me throughout the day (your wedding photographer will literally be with you for hours on end!!).

In terms of the actual photos--wow. They are literally perfect. My husband, who rarely comments on these types of things, exclaimed at how good the photos turned out. And my album--oh my god! I usually think I'm good at making albums, but hers blow mine out of the water (and I'm so glad she offers to make the albums in her photo packages).

Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience, from 1st phone call to final album. I can't recommend her enough!!

Erika is a photographic poet. Her pictures tell stories and capture emotion. They create visual, tangible memories that every bride and groom wants to keep in their hearts for a lifetime. Her photography arouse emotion which makes her an incredibly talented artist. My husband and I realized she was a visionary from the moment we saw her work and knew we had to hire her. During our engagement shoot, she made us feel so comfortable and more importantly she cared about us. She had just met us, but she instinctively knew that we trusted her with capturing the most important aspect of our lives – our love. A dream is a wish your heart makes, is the song I sang to my daughter when she was a little girl. On January 18th, Erika captured every detail of my dream of our daughter's wedding day. Her vision and heart she puts into each shot is felt and beyond perfection. The day goes by so fast, you can not possibly remember everyday detail and emotion of those precious hours. Yet, Erika and her team managed to do just that. She gives you a taste just after with 3 or 4 pictures to get your heart pumping in anticipation and includes a projected date that your pictures will be ready to preview. That day was marked in RED on our calendars. My husband and I disconnected from the world for 3 hours looking at every picture over and over again. We literally lived that day not missing anything. Do not hesitate one bit to give her a call to talk about your wedding day. The minute you hear her voice, you will fall in love and feel she has been your best friend your entire life and she is super cute too! She truly made this Mama's dream wish come true.. XO

Can't even put into words how amazing Erica and her team are. I connected with Erica from our first phone call - she is so personable and immediately became a part of our family. Choosing a photographer from the opposite side of the country was no easy feat - we had to review portfolios and compare packages but it all really came down to connecting on a personal level. As soon as we got engaged I knew EDP was our wedding photographer! After seeing Erika's stunning photos throughout the years, I knew her style and genuine care for her clients was exactly what we were looking for.

Having known Erika personally for a few years, I've known how much she invests personally into each wedding. Erika was amazing from start to finish. The quality of her work speaks volumes, but the quality of her service was also impeccable. It was wonderful to have someone so friendly and professional taking our photos on this special day.

Our wedding was also a fusion wedding - both Indian and Western/Latin - and she did an amazing job with both. I spoke to many photographers before choosing Erika. I really wanted a fine art photographer, and it was surprising how many photographers didn't get quite the colors right (e.g., skin tones especially for darker skins). I was so relieved at how vibrant yet true-to-life (and with that soft fine art quality) the final photos were. Lastly, she made sure to capture all the important moments and details for both ceremonies, which is so crucial when choosing a photographer.

The final product ended up surpassing our expectations. We are so happy we worked with Erika!

It has been a pleasure working with Erika. Not only does she have an incredible eye and talent for taking beautiful photos, she is also kind, patient, and wonderful to work with.
