Erika Delgado is the best decision we made for our wedding!

If you have the opportunity to work with Erika Delgado, do it! I was originally attracted to Erika Delgado because of her immense talent and well-established reputation in the wedding industry, and I came away confidently saying that bringing Erika in was one of the the absolute best decisions we made during the planning process. She went above-and-beyond the role of wedding-weekend photographer for my husband and me, not only lending her creativity to the process and wedding-day shoots but also bringing positive energy throughout the entire weekend.
Erika is a true artist — her photos are the perfect combination of editorial and fine-art focused, all while finding and capturing a deeper meaning in each shot. She finds the small moments, captures the details, and creates photos that will stand the test of time and become an heirloom for our family. Beyond the quality of her photography and products, Erika is an incredible relationship builder who surprised, delighted, and supported us every step of the way. She went out of her way to meet my husband and me in advance of the wedding to get to know our personalities, our love story, to understand our families, and to prioritize the moments of the experience that would be important to us.
While getting married on NYE at Vizcaya presented many unique challenges, Erika was continually poised and a true leader. When I had a ‘crazy idea’ of how I wanted to capture a specific detail or to explore different parts of the venue to get a unique shot, Erika went all in, game planning with me with a ‘let’s make it happen’ attitude.
Erika is bespoke and discerning in bringing on a limited amount of new clients each year, ensuring she has the time and energy required to bring her best for each couple. This made all of the difference on the wedding day: she is a calming force, a detail catcher, and a confidence booster who made my husband and I feel at ease and natural. In the weeks and months that followed our wedding, Erika continued to deliver top-of-the-line service in posting, editing, and memorializing our unforgettable weekend. The hardest part has been creating our album, as we love all of our photos so much! We could not recommend her more.

Incredible wedding photographer!

As soon as I spoke to Erika on the phone when I started my photographer search, I knew she would be the one. On the phone she was friendly, down-to-earth and confident--you could tell she knew exactly what she was doing and had a lot of experience in the wedding industry. Right from the start I also felt that we were on the same page--it was a breath of fresh air!

Choosing a photographer was actually one of the more important wedding decisions I made, as having great photographs were really important to me. And let me tell you, Erika DELIVERED!!! She listened to every request and concern, she even met me at the venue before the wedding to scope out good photography spots and she was extremely attentive, detail-driven and organized throughout.

Further, Erika is so sweet and positive. My wedding was actually RIGHT before Covid-19 and the day was a little stressful. I also have a HUGE family and wanted a TON of pictures. Erika remained calm and in control so I didn't have to worry about anything. It was exactly what I needed!! I'm thankful she was with me throughout the day (your wedding photographer will literally be with you for hours on end!!).

In terms of the actual photos--wow. They are literally perfect. My husband, who rarely comments on these types of things, exclaimed at how good the photos turned out. And my album--oh my god! I usually think I'm good at making albums, but hers blow mine out of the water (and I'm so glad she offers to make the albums in her photo packages).

Overall, I could not have asked for a better experience, from 1st phone call to final album. I can't recommend her enough!!

Photographic Poet.

Erika is a photographic poet. Her pictures tell stories and capture emotion. They create visual, tangible memories that every bride and groom wants to keep in their hearts for a lifetime. Her photography arouse emotion which makes her an incredibly talented artist. My husband and I realized she was a visionary from the moment we saw her work and knew we had to hire her. During our engagement shoot, she made us feel so comfortable and more importantly she cared about us. She had just met us, but she instinctively knew that we trusted her with capturing the most important aspect of our lives – our love. Erika is kind and so genuine that is refreshing to have her by your side on your wedding day. We will forever be grateful for Erika and her team.

A dream is a wish your heart makes

A dream is a wish your heart makes, is the song I sang to my daughter when she was a little girl. On January 18th, Erika captured every detail of my dream of our daughter's wedding day. Her vision and heart she puts into each shot is felt and beyond perfection. The day goes by so fast, you can not possibly remember everyday detail and emotion of those precious hours. Yet, Erika and her team managed to do just that. She gives you a taste just after with 3 or 4 pictures to get your heart pumping in anticipation and includes a projected date that your pictures will be ready to preview. That day was marked in RED on our calendars. My husband and I disconnected from the world for 3 hours looking at every picture over and over again. We literally lived that day not missing anything. Do not hesitate one bit to give her a call to talk about your wedding day. The minute you hear her voice, you will fall in love and feel she has been your best friend your entire life and she is super cute too! She truly made this Mama's dream wish come true.. XO

Beyond pleased - love our photos! Erica is incredible.

Can't even put into words how amazing Erica and her team are. I connected with Erica from our first phone call - she is so personable and immediately became a part of our family. Choosing a photographer from the opposite side of the country was no easy feat - we had to review portfolios and compare packages but it all really came down to connecting on a personal level. Erica was so interested in our love story, our family dynamics, and how we envisioned our wedding day. She has such an eye for detail, a true understanding of lighting and framing, and has such a warm personality. On wedding day, she had a plan. Knew exactly what she wanted to capture and where but also was so flexible. She captured every moment of our wedding in the most candid way (something that was so important to me). I love how you can feel the energy, intimacy, and fun in every photo. Her photo sharing is so organized and easy to manage. An Obvious YES!

As soon as we got engaged I knew EDP was our wedding photographer! After seeing Erika's stunning photos throughout the years, I knew her style and genuine care for her clients was exactly what we were looking for.

Having known Erika personally for a few years, I've known how much she invests personally into each wedding. You definitely don't want your wedding photographer to be just 'another' person around on your wedding day. Erika has such a calming presence and sweet personality - she becomes part of the family!

The only problem with our photos is that WE LOVE THEM ALL AND DON'T KNOW WHICH TO PRINT! Erika captured us as a couple and family and we literally are in love with every single photo. The photos are romantic and very much 'us' and we couldn't be happier with them! As someone who works in the industry, I know how much an investment it can be but your photos are all you get to keep! Amazing experience!

Erika was amazing from start to finish. The quality of her work speaks volumes, but the quality of her service was also impeccable. It was wonderful to have someone so friendly and professional taking our photos on this special day.

Our wedding was also a fusion wedding - both Indian and Western/Latin - and she did an amazing job with both. I spoke to many photographers before choosing Erika. I really wanted a fine art photographer, and it was surprising how many photographers didn't get quite the colors right (e.g., skin tones especially for darker skins). I was so relieved at how vibrant yet true-to-life (and with that soft fine art quality) the final photos were. Lastly, she made sure to capture all the important moments and details for both ceremonies, which is so crucial when choosing a photographer.

The final product ended up surpassing our expectations. We are so happy we worked with Erika!

Incredibly Talented Photographer

It has been a pleasure working with Erika. Not only does she have an incredible eye and talent for taking beautiful photos, she is also kind, patient, and wonderful to work with. She was organized and professional, delivering the photos in a timely manner. When I received the USB with the photos, they were neatly and artistically wrapped. Something so small, but so meaningful. It felt like she was just as excited as I was to view the photos! I really couldn't be any happier with the end result and my beautiful photo book that I will have for years to come!

Amazing woman & photographer—worth every penny!

Brides, if you're like me and you're worried about investing in photography because of your budget, please trust me and book Erika ASAP. I booked Erika for our engagement shoot and wedding, and she is/was worth every penny AND MORE. It's rare to find a photographer who will make you feel comfortable and beautiful; capture your day flawlessly; and effortlessly wrangle dozens of bridesmaids, groomsmen, and family members for group pics. Erika's level of organization and professionalism was top-notch, but it never made the day feel too rigid—in fact, it was quite the opposite; adding Erika to my team of vendors helped make the day downright romantic and dreamy. There aren't enough words to describe how truly grateful I was to have Erika and her team with us on our wedding day—my husband and I will treasure the art (yes, ART) they captured on our wedding day for years to come.

I never write reviews but for Erika, I must! Erika has such a special talent in capturing memories and moments in the most beautiful photographs. Both her portraits and her candids are something out of a fairy tale-- I can't believe that this is my wedding that she captured- it truly looks like a magazine or something from pinterest.

In every way, working with Erika has been fantastic.
Pre- wedding: prior the the wedding day was as easy as could be. She listened to the key details that we wanted to capture and executed perfectly. We asked for some specific photos very early on in the process and on the wedding day, Erika did not forget to capture and include these details for us. Erika provided lots of recommendations and feedback for us based on her previous experiences and I am so glad that we trusted her knowledge here!

Day of: Erika was calm, collected and concise. Our day of coordinator, unfortunately, fell a bit short of her duties and was absent most of the day, not keeping track of time or schedule for us during hair/makeup or during family photos-- Erika did not miss a beat and was able to squeeze in photos of me getting ready, even though we were very behind and kept us running smoothly through 2 hours of portraits and an epic amount of family photos at our venue, while also keeping track of time for us to ensure we stayed on schedule during all of the photos. Erika and Alex wore a bit of a "coordinator" hat during the portrait photo sessions and we are so grateful to them for that! Both the posed portrait photos as well as the candid shots are truly amazing!

Every aspect of the service that Erika and her brother Alex offer is worth every single penny-- pre-wedding, day of and post wedding.

Like most brides, I thought (and continue to believe) that my wedding day was the most beautiful and ethereal day of my life. While I made sure to savor every moment, there were so many memories that I didn't even realize were memories in the making until I saw Erika's photographs. She captured every immaculate detail, every smile, every longing glance, and every happy tear. She captured our entire wedding day in a way that left me speechless. The images are true and raw and absolutely gorgeous. If the end result of beautiful photographs weren't enough, Erika felt like a guardian angel over the entire day. She was always within reach if I ever needed her while also knowing how to retain a low profile in special moments like walking down the aisle or when my husband and I shared our first dance. She was in constant communication with my husband and I for the months leading up to our wedding day and even assisted us in finding some of our other vendors. I love looking at my wedding pictures and every time I show someone our photos they always say that they are the best wedding pictures they have ever seen. Thank you Erika! Erika and I went to high school together and she was actually one of my first friends. Unfortunately, it had been over ten years and we had completely lost touch. The only connection we had was that we were friends on social media. I began following her 365 day photography journey and everything there after that has led her to be the beautiful, inspiring photographer she is today. Erika was such a joy to work with on our wedding day! She has a creative eye for perfection, & her photos display beautiful light & natural colors-- exactly what we were wanting. Erika and her team went over the top for my husband and me. They were so detailed and patient throughout the whole day. Her vision is so romantic and unique. Erika is absolutely wonderful and her work speaks for itself. She has a way of really SEEING people through her lens and capturing them just as they are (except with the most perfect lighting you've ever seen in a photograph). I definitely recommend booking an engagement shoot before the wedding - we had so much fun and it was the perfect way to get to know one another. Erika was extremely well organized and punctual on our wedding day, and she made sure to keep everyone on time and on schedule. I couldn't have been more relieved to have such an amazing photographer on my wedding day!! I planned a destination wedding in Miami Beach Florida, so choosing vendors was a little stressful since like most brides I want the best! Erika was referred to me by another great photographer who is from my area and I'm beyond thankful he referred her to me. She was so easy to get along with and very flexible with meeting when we flew in for a short trip to meet with the venue & vendors. Erika and her assistant made me, my fiancé and our whole wedding party feel completely at ease the entire day.

You basically spend the whole day/night with your photographer, so for me to have someone who had a positive attitude, organized, and at the same time made us feel comfortable in the most intimate moments is what made me grateful we didn't compromise on this important decision. The photos I received are incredible, perfection in every sense of the word!!!! They are timeless with a dash of those spontaneous and fun moments caught throughout our wedding day. And a huge selling point for me was that you get a flash drive after the wedding with all the high resolution photos on it to print whenever you want in the future. I would recommend Erika to ANYONE and EVERYONE! She is the best... just take a look at her work and you'll see why.

In April 2016, Erika photographed our wedding and customized a wedding album. Our wedding planner recommended her. We viewed her website and immediately connected with her sense of style and photographic tastes. We found her professional, punctual, reliable and approachable. I told Erika that she sees the world differently in such a beautiful way, and I was so happy to see my wedding through her eyes as the memory I will always look back on. There is absolutely no one more talented in the wedding photography industry. Not only are her images sheer perfection, she is someone you want next to you on your big day. She makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and allows you to just be YOU.

Erika is by far the BEST and an absolute pleasure to work with! I knew the moment I got engaged, she would be the one to capture my photos! She has such a natural way of capturing the best moments all while making it so much fun. Because of Erika, the day of my engagement photos was one of the best days for my husband and I. Spending the afternoon with her, she created such a fun and relaxing environment for us. The day of the wedding she also did an outstanding job of making us feel so comfortable all while capturing every little detail.
Her communication and professionalism was excellent-a few weeks leading up to the wedding, she created a very detailed timeline for the day of. I knew within moments of sitting with Erika that she was the photographer for us. Not only does her work grab you, but her personality does as well. She's probably one of the sweetest most sincere people in the wedding industry. She is effortless and flawless in her work- just natural. My husband isn't really a picture taking kinda guy, but Erika proved otherwise. Her natural way of working makes you feel comfortable and relaxed even when nerves can be at an all time high. Erika made our wedding day so memorable. We had such a great time as she captured photos of our day. It was one of the highlights for both of us. Planning a wedding by yourself is a pretty big deal, there are various decisions you need to make and a little bit of sacrifices here and there. From the beginning I knew that I wanted quality photos that had a bit of an artistic flair. I was more than lucky to have come across Erika, she was just so genuine and helpful with details I had not thought of from the start.( It was a huge check mark off my list) Not only did she provide extensive follow up emails & calls. I have received more than I bargained with her, I have memories that I can share with my friends and family that are like little works of art. It was nice to have a photographer at our wedding that was humble, yet ready for business attitude, organized and with a vision.

I had been following Erika through social media before I got engaged, I remember thinking this is my dream photographer! When I had the opportunity to sit down with Erika, I knew within moments she had to be the photographer that captured the best day of my life. Erika is not only a reliable professional but she is extremely caring to all her clients, she gives you her all. Erika photographed our engagement shoot and our wedding, I was nervous that my husband would dread our engagement shoot because he isn't a picture taking kind of guy. But Erika made it so fun, it was like we fell in love all over again that day. At our wedding she captured everything I wanted her to, which was hard being that I have a huge family and about 400 wedding guest. I couldn't be happier with the results of choosing her to be my photographer. Erika will be photographing all of our major life events for the rest of our lives!

Erika made the pictures so fun. I barely even noticed she was there at first which was great because I am awkward in front of the camera. She has this organic way of taking pictures and nothing seems staged at all. She captures the moment and the personality of the wedding and the bride and groom. I will probably ask her to take photos of other memorable moments later down the road she is that good.

Erika photographed my wedding in March '15 as well as my engagement shoot in October '14. She is super talented and captures authentic, natural, and beautiful photos - she has an artistic eye and an upbeat attitude that make working with her lots of fun. She puts you instantly at ease with her warm demeanor and has great ideas for how to get the best shot - from lighting to angles to location.

The most important part of my wedding was finding the perfect photographer. I knew that years from now when I am reminiscing the wedding with family and friends our wedding story would be told through our photos. When I began searching I got very overwhelmed with the many talented photographers out there. However Erika’s passion showed through in every single photo. Each picture told a story, even the most simple image from her website and blog captivated me.

From the very first meeting Erika made my husband and me feel very comfortable. Our package included an engagement shoot, which we were a little weary of at first. After discussing it with Erika she had us convinced it was important, and it would help us get comfortable. It was such a great way for Erika to get to know us and vice versa. We were able to bring our English Bulldog for part of the shoot. The photos from that day are my favorite photos of our little family.

Through out the wedding day the bridal party and my family kept telling me what an amazing photographer I had chosen. Erika made everyone feel so comfortable, and was such a great help to me as well. I have already highly recommended Erika to all of my friends and family, and I do the same to you. I consider myself very lucky to have had Erika Delgado as my photographer. Erika flew all the way to Dominica with us and spent a week with over 400 of our wedding guests. She captured so many memories throughout the week from climbing up a waterfall to speeches at the rehearsal dinner. I feel so blessed to have found such an amazing photographer that is so passionate about what she does. She puts her all into every event and is so young and full of life... just looking at her can make you smile. Erika was placed in a different environment and completely nailed it! My wedding was 6 months ago and i'm STILL looking at my wedding pictures. She was so creative and really captured our emotions throughout the day.... I just LOVE her work. I can't wait to share these memories with my kids and grandkids throughout the years! It has been one year since my wedding, when Erika and her co-photographer captured the most wonderful day! Looking back at my photographs now brings back the greatest memories and I feel all the magic that took place - it is a true testament to Erika's incredible talent. She captures each important and candid moment so beautifully and artistically. On the day-of, she was very professional, discreet, and very respectful.

Booking the photography vendor was my top priority when wedding planning - the photographs are what you have years and years later so I wanted mine to be top quality - it is not the place to cut corners when it comes to the wedding budget. I knew from her portfolio that I wanted Erika to be our wedding photgrapher and the results prove she was absolutely the right person for the job. She was also kind enough to photograph our engagement session and I LOVE the pictures! It gave us an opportunity to get to know Erika's style and get more comfortable in front of the camera - all her brilliant idea - and I couldn't be happier with the photos. We ended up using them as decoration at the wedding reception!

I first met Erika when I did a Boudoir shoot for my then fiancé. It's not the easiest thing to run around in panties in front of someone you just met, while trying to channel your inner Victoria's Secret model (when you're clearly not one). However, she has a way of making you feel very comfortable, as if you have known her for years. The shoot went great and I was absolutely blown away by her light-hearted spirit, kindness, and professionalism. Oh and then I got my proofs, and was equally blown away by her talent, eye, and clear innate gift.

And then my wedding photos....WOW. I mean I had no doubt they would be great because I knew she was taking them, but still WOW. It's as if her camera lens is truly an extension of the lens of her eye, and we get to see her unique perception of the world, and ourselves. A sunbeam, a shadow, light dancing on the water, the perfect tapestry to shoot your wedding rings against, a wayward glance, a half crooked smile, a gleam in your eye; she sees and captures it all, at just the right moment, as she attends to every detail of the environment and you. This gives even her 'simpler shots' great depth and breadth.

I would like to also mention she is one of the kindest people I have ever met. She really makes you feel more like a friend than a client. She has a natural sincerity about her and exudes positive energy. She really does care that you are the happiest you can be with all of her work, and she also takes a personal interest in you and your love story. I believe that's what helps her capture those special moments between you as a couple, as she did for my husband and I. She is also great at giving you a sense of direction with posing (should you need it), accompanied by lots of positive encouragement along the way.

What else can I say? She is one of a kind, and fabulous at what she does. You can't go wrong with Erika, and the Erika Delgado Photography Team!

Not only is Erika an incredible photographer, she is an absolute JOY to be around. Erika Photographed our engagement photos, and we loved working with her! She was very flexible, especially since we got rained out and had to cancel our engagement shoot twice. She made it easy to reschedule and kept in contact with me about the weather. The actual day we took the photos was also very windy but Erika made it work and the pictures turned out amazing! She made my finance and I feel very comfortable and was extremely professional and responsive. My sister was making my save the dates and was only in town for a week, and Erika was able to edit the photo I wanted for the save the date within a couple of days of me picking it and she was sick at the time. She is very committed to her couples and giving them what they want. I would highly recommend her to new brides.

WOW, what can I say! There really aren't words to describe how I feel about Erika Delgado Photography. My time spent getting to know Erika and working with her for my wedding have been beyond Incredible! She is very professional and at the same time your go to girl; as a bride she sent my fears out the window and was by my side even if it didn't have anything to do with photography. Her ideas and opinions are so valuable and creative, she really does know what she is doing. Erika's pictures turned out so beautifully and each time I look at them I get to re-live my wedding day; her pictures are that good! Anything you want out of your pictures she will do and if your way is not possible she will come up with something just as good to take it's place! Erika is a high-end photographer at a relatively reasonable rate. She was hands down the best vendor decision I made in my whole wedding process. The caliber of her work is that of much more expensive photographers. Her photographs are absolutely stunning -- she captured every important moment of our marriage, and then some. I love her lighting and editing -- she was able to make an already beautiful moment even more visually appealing through her lens. Erika is supremely talented and went above and beyond for us -- throwing in additional time, effort and surprise gifts during our journey together. She also has a great attitude.
