Enlightened Ceremonies transform meaningful moments into treasured memories using the special touches each couple deserves. Based in Durham, NC, Rev. Angela is a certified Life-Cycle Celebrant, a spiritual coach, an ordained interfaith minister, and a ceremonial storyteller. Recognizing that no two couples are alike, she treats each ceremony as a utopian experience. Before planning the details of the ceremony, Rev. Angela meets with her couples to get to know them deeply and understand their relationship and listens to the expectations of your upcoming wedding. Couples are led to share their stories from the day they met that they will then hear poetically interwoven into their ceremony on the day you say “I DO”.

Rev. Angela will facilitate your every need ensuring your guests feel welcomed, to honoring your ancestry, dress rehearsal precision, provide scripts for your musicians, videography and photographers and filing your marriage license as you escape to your honeymoon unbothered and enraptured. After the ceremony, you will have a personally customized keepsake of your wedding ceremony to use for a lifetime of anniversaries. Rev. Angela is an ordained, non-denominational, and interfaith minister-certified Life-Cycle Celebrant and a coach to other officiants. As an expert certified in marriage celebrancy through the Celebrant Foundation and Institute — she also happens to be a 5-Star Wedding Oficiantn and doctoral candidate at the University of Metaphysics at the University of Sedona.

Services Offered

Rev. Angela serves and celebrates all types of couples for wedding celebrations. This includes officiating vow renewals, civil unions, rehearsals, and single-religion, interfaith, and non-religious ceremonies. This licensed officiant can wed North Carolina couples in a ceremony approximately 30 to 60 minutes long. She offers couples pre-marriage counseling as well as the option to have customized wedding vows. She serves couples of all religions, including agnostic and non-denominational couples.
