Excellent experience—more than we ever would've hoped for
Okay, so first things first: I'm not Catholic. (My bride-to-be and now wife is, although she's a bit... lapsed, you might say.) Naturally this filled me with angst, given less than positive experiences at Catholic friends' weddings (a particularly irascible priest yelling at me for using a cellphone in the church vestibule, among other not-great memories).Sent on 05/22/2019
Luckily, Father Christopher was... wait for it... a godsend. He's pretty much singlehandedly changed my view of priests (for the better, I mean). Helps that he's fluent in multiple disciplines and thus good company at dinner and such—which he made himself available for in our city even though he lives nowhere near it. That, to us, went far beyond the call, to say nothing of his being someone we actually wanted to see and talk to and break bread with. But now I'm repeating myself.
Anyway, long story short, go with the Padre here. Your wedding will be the better for it, on so many levels.
Celestial Ceremonies's reply:Thank you both for coming into my life; I am so much richer for it. Thank you also for making me laugh out loud and for our wonderful conversations about, well, everything, in general, and about books and about writing in particular. Hope to see you in New York in September. Love and blessings always.

Father Christopher was our officiant for our November 2019 wedding in Cary, NC. He was instrumental in preparing and delivered a beautiful ceremony. We had multiple guests compliment the thoughtful ceremony. He knows how to add a balance of religion for those who practice and still make sure those who don’t are included and have a meaningful experience.Sent on 11/27/2019
We especially enjoyed the premarital counseling times that we had with Father Christopher before the wedding as well. We felt comfortable speaking with him and are grateful to have gotten the chance to speak on important issues with another person.
I would recommend Father Christopher for wedding ceremonies!
Celestial Ceremonies's reply:Dear Madeline and David, it was my privilege to officiate for you. I am so pleased to know that your ceremony was everything you had hoped it would be. We did it together, over many months, and I thank you for the hard work you both did individually and together to prepare for your big day. I look forward to hearing of the many personal and professional milestones that await! Blessings for a joyous holiday season.

Father Christopher is outstanding!
Father Christopher is outstanding to work with! He took time to get to know us personally and gained a thorough understanding of what style of ceremony we were looking for. His communication and guidance throughout the entire process was second to none and he continued to tweak the ceremony drafts until we were satisfied. We truly enjoyed working with Father Christopher and he was a big part in helping the day come together for us in the special way we imagined it.Sent on 10/21/2019
