Favorites like the Lord of the Pies (a deep-dish apple) and the Bonnie & Pie’d (a coffee and chocolate custard) earned endless compliments, and the generous portions ensured everyone had their fill. We even had some leftovers, which made for a delightful breakfast the next morning. The pies were a refreshing and unique alternative to traditional wedding cake, and they looked stunning on our DIY dessert table.

We had the wonderful experience of having Emporium Pies for desert for our wedding on 4/19/24 and it was the best option ever! We were able to go to the bakery and sit down, eat pie, and talk about our pastry vision we wanted, it was a dream. We got something like 60 slices for 45 people and a whole apple pie to cut into, it was all so delicious! They delivered to the venue on time. Even our gluten free guests had an option. Yum! Me and hubby wanted to do something unique and not the normal wedfing cake. So umm yep, everyone loves pie! It was a no brainer! Emporium Pies was awesome and so easy to work with!! We ordered 11 pies from the McKinney location and had a friend pick them up the morning of the wedding. This was plenty for our 75 guests and we had 2 or 3 left over.

My fiancee and I are not cake people, so with our fall wedding we immediately started looking for quality pie in the area. All of the reviews we saw on Emporium were excellent, so we bought a few to have our family sample and approve. They were all a hit! There pies are seasonal, so make sure you know what they serve the season you are getting hitched. You can't order more than 90 days out and they will not pre-slice your pies. But all that being said, we got 4 different pies (15 pies total) for the reception and left with 1.5 pies. They were such a hit our guests dug into them before we "cut the pie" so we just skipped that whole thing! Not super flexible for catering but such great tasting stuff that the extra hassle was worth it.
